A restaurant where you can drink rare wines from around the world! Especially for those who love red wine. Meat bar x wine tavern Tokyo Dining Gotanda Sakura Koji https://www.facebook.com/tokyoyamiichiwine/ Among the 150 types of wines from 50 countries around the world, there are no wines from France or Italy! They have a strong commitment to not having them. ... However, on this day it was different. Once a year, French wine makes a special appearance. Yes, it's Beaujolais! (laughs) Even though there are so many rare wines available, when they say "only once a year!", you can't help but order it! So (since I was there), I ordered Beaujolais for some reason. Everyone else was enjoying the rare wines as usual. Well, it was a special occasion with French wine being served only once a year! This year, I celebrated with the only Beaujolais that was available...! Along with the "Special Red Wine Stewed Beef Tendon" which won the Gotanda G1 Grand Prix, priced at 1,080 yen. (As I was taking my usual hobby photos, someone commented, "Won't the meat not show up at that angle?" In the past, when I took photos of food, people would give me strange looks, but now everyone recognizes that it's just me. I'm grateful...!) We were supposed to just have some wine with snacks, but the food turned out to be surprisingly good, so we decided to have dinner there. We ordered again. Starting with a salad (even though we were already drinking). Watercress and coriander salad for 580 yen. The sesame flavor was irresistible...! And we always order octopus when it's on the menu! Octopus and salmon carpaccio for 780 yen. It was also luxurious. However, I've always liked octopus, but now I feel like I like it even more... (What's happening to me?). Shrimp and tomato ajillo for 680 yen. We also got some homemade bread from the restaurant. The bread was delicious too! (It goes perfectly with the sauce of the "Special Red Wine Stewed Beef Tendon"!) We couldn't help but ask for seconds! For the main course, we had meat, and since we were at a rare wine shop, we had the "Mysterious Wine Alias". Alias means "alias" or "anonymous", and it's a wine that famous charismatic wine producers around the world make while hiding their true identities. (If they don't hide their names, it becomes a "charismatic brand wine" and the price goes up). It was the best cost-performance wine. I was in a good mood, so I got carried away and also had the cold custard cattanara for 580 yen. Wine and sweet treats go well together, right? The fondant chocolate was especially popular among the red wine lovers. [Bonus] Next to the restaurant, there is something called "Tokyo Yamiichi Wine"! You can buy wine and take it home! (It's 1,000 yen cheaper than drinking at the restaurant!) There was a wine from Cappadocia (Turkey) in a prominent place, which was quite interesting. I bought a wine on the side of the road when I visited Turkey a long time ago, but I couldn't drink it because of my suspicions like, "Can you really drink wine bought on the side of the road...?" (It's still in the closet at my parents' house). Maybe it's okay since it's in a "dark market"? (laughs) It was an interesting space.
