I don't think there are many shops as wonderful as this one ☺︎ I was taken here late at night again this time. The strawberry truffles that came out first were absolutely amazing! I had never tasted such sweet strawberries before (*´ω`*) And then the Nagoya Cochin soft-boiled egg with caviar! Mix it all up and enjoy the crunch. They said they didn't use any seasonings, but the flavor is...! Next was the flounder carpaccio, and my favorite sea urchin and caviar capellini! This dish is truly amazing, I could probably eat this whole plate by myself haha. Then there was the bamboo shoot baked for an hour, beef tataki, everything was delicious and made me happy ♡ The desserts were also delicious, with crème brûlée, vanilla ice truffle, black sesame ice cream with wasanbon sugar, and chocolate ice cream (with alcohol). The cheese platter was also divine. It's a wine bar, so it might be tough if you can't drink wine, but this time they also offered freshly squeezed juice, which was much appreciated ☺️ Truly a special shop hidden away like a secret hideaway ♡ I would love to visit again when the opportunity arises ☺︎

I was quite drunk so I don't remember much, but I do recall that it was very delicious and enjoyable. The wine bar "Tsubaki" in Nishi-Azabu is an old establishment. I had a 2019 Domaine Robert Groffier Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru wine. I also had a mysterious drink made with champagne and a little brandy, which got me very drunk. I also enjoyed a pasta with Amerikana sauce, which had a rich flavor that paired well with the wine. I would like to visit again before getting too drunk next time.

Anyway, this place is abundant in wine♡ But the food is also incredibly delicious. We arrived quite late on this day, but thankfully they were able to accommodate us until late at night. The interior of the restaurant has a mysterious atmosphere with some strange dolls and a piano that you can play☺︎ The dishes are very elaborate and tasty! We were served dishes we had never tried before...! I was very impressed by the sea urchin and caviar pasta, and the strawberry truffle roll? They were amazing. They go so well with wine~(*´ω`*) This time, by chance, I was so happy to be able to have a wine from the same year I was born. From vintage wines to everything else, this place is a wine lover's dream(O_O) Also, the person who served us, Ik-san? was really funny and enjoyable, making it the best dinner time! We ended up eating and drinking too much and left the restaurant after 2 am, I think? Haha I definitely want to visit this special restaurant again♡

A wine lover's dream shop. There were so many varieties to choose from, and the dishes that paired with them were incredibly delicious. That day, when I tasted the wine and the premium strawberries together, I felt an immense sense of happiness that I will never forget. From foie gras to soft-boiled eggs topped with caviar, to dessert wine, everything was delicious and made me happy. I want to go back again.

All the dishes were incredibly delicious, and the wine was also superb, making it a divine experience. The last red wine was especially delicious, and the meat was incredibly tender. Ikuchan, who served us, was very friendly and popular among fans. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was great, and it was a truly happy time!

I have been to this restaurant many times, but there are no girls from Minato-ku who want to go there. Even when you put truffles on strawberries and other fruits, it doesn't taste good at all, but some girls still want to eat it. The wine is good, of course, but the unique atmosphere may divide opinions. I personally don't go there by choice.

I finally had the chance to visit Tsubaki, a place I had heard about through rumors for decades. I started with their recommended strawberry and truffle dish paired with a crystal champagne. Their wine list is very impressive, so I gave them my budget and let them choose for me. I had some wonderful wines. For dessert, I asked for a marron, and the owner's father personally served it to me.

This is my first visit. The Tsubaki Nishi-Azabu Fruit dessert is truly delicious! It was a luxurious dessert with truffle on top. Next time, I want to go to eat a meal! I also want to go when it's strawberry and truffle season because it sounds delicious.

The quiet and calm atmosphere of the restaurant. Elegant interior. I was treated to a high-class sake, and I ended up quite drunk. The dishes were made with top-quality ingredients like caviar and truffles, prepared with elaborate techniques, and had deep flavors. The only downside was that I had too much to drink and ended up eating only half of the dishes. It was a missed opportunity.

All the dishes were incredibly delicious. First, the peach with white truffle on top was amazing. Next, the half-boiled egg with caviar on top was so sweet and tasty. Then, the capellini with caviar and sea urchin was absolutely delicious. The pasta with olive oil was also very tasty, especially with sea urchin on top. The champagne was surprisingly easy to drink, even though I usually don't like champagne. The red wine, unfortunately, didn't suit my taste, but the dishes continued to be excellent. The wagyu beef, with truffle and green onions, was the best I've ever had. The lamb chops were easy to eat and delicious, especially with the sauce and herbs on top. The beef stewed in various red wines with truffle on top was incredibly tender and flavorful. The bread was also delicious, especially with the sauce. The dessert, black sesame ice cream with Okinawan brown sugar, was a perfect way to end the meal. I also ordered sparkling water with gas, which complemented the wine perfectly. Everything was so delicious, and wine lovers would surely enjoy the selection available.

There is a quiet wine bar tucked away in the backstreets of Nishi-Azabu. They offer a good selection of wines by the bottle, ranging from ¥2000 and up, with limited options by the glass. I opted for a glass of red wine for ¥2500. For food, I tried the Smoked Magret Duck (¥1800), Green Asparagus Gratin (¥1800), Porcini Risotto (¥2000), and Ox Tail Red Wine Stew (¥4500) with Tasmanian black truffle. The stew was particularly outstanding, made with the highest quality wine and topped with truffle. For dessert, I had Chocolate Ice Cream with 100-year-old Madeira sauce (¥1500), which was also delicious. Overall, I highly recommend this place and would love to visit again for a second round.

There is a quiet little restaurant on a street in Nishi-Azabu that used to be called "Bistro Street". It has been loved for nearly 30 years. I remembered visiting it over a decade ago when a friend took me there and I had foie gras and Chateau d'Yquem. Recently, I was invited by another friend to visit again. The interior and menu have hardly changed. Surprisingly, the female chef is the same as back then. The wine collection is still amazing. But what makes this place truly special is not just the wine. The signature dish, oxtail red wine stew, is a must-try. They use leftover bottles of super premium wine from regular customers, creating a unique flavor that cannot be replicated. The stew is rich and inviting. On this visit, we had: 1. Smoked magret duck for 1800 yen - a refreshing appetizer. 2. Green asparagus gratin for 1800 yen - maintaining the crunchiness of asparagus in a flavorful gratin. 3. Porcini risotto for 2400 yen - with generous portions of porcini mushrooms. 4. Oxtail red wine stew for 4500 yen - highly recommended. 5. Dessert: Chocolate ice cream with 100-year-old Madeira - a rare and precious Madeira with only 2 bottles left. The glass wine, at 2500 yen, was Virginie de Valandraud Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2015, the second wine of Chateau Valandraud. It had a berry-like flavor and a beautiful garnet color. There is a reason why this restaurant has been loved for so long - a consistent philosophy and a cozy atmosphere. I was truly moved by this visit after so long.

Delicious oyster and creamy risotto with summer truffle. Whenever I come here, it feels like a happy place. Last wine from Vivino. Couldn't make it, so for now, I'll jot it down here. I'd be happy if you liked it. Please follow my IG if you'd like. Liam Time posts daily meals. IG: @gyoza.obasan ❤️

Perfect!! This restaurant was the best surprise of the year 2019. They have a wide variety of drinks and delicious menu options. Everything I tried was delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant feels like being in Europe, very stylish. It's great that they are open until early morning. You can't go wrong with their selection of high-quality drinks here.

Robert Groffier Bonnes Mares Grand Cru 1992. Groffier's Bonnes Mares! It was my Birthday Vintage. Ah, I'm frustrated that I couldn't guess this vintage. The edge had a hint of orange. Initially, the temperature seemed a bit low, but as it rose, I felt the sharpness. It reminded me of black and red fruits, with a charming touch and hints of aging. The condition was really good, as 1992 was a tough year for Nuits. There was more rainfall than usual. Sadly, wines from this year are hard to choose from, even though they are the same age. Among my low expectations, this one... made me happy. I savored it slowly, enjoying the changing aroma until the last drop. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The other day, it's been over 4 years since I traveled with Tsubaki in France, so we haven't been in touch for a long time. This restaurant itself is also? Because it was early in the morning? Not many people around? (Did the early birds leave already? W) Even though it wasn't even midnight yet after Doraemi finished work, there were no people inside the restaurant, and my companion was already waiting for me with champagne. (Maybe another group came later?) Oh, on this day, Doraemi had a decent lunch, almost like the first meal of the day, but my companion was already full from a Japanese full course meal since early hours. I felt sorry for making them accompany me, but the first glass of Jiro disappeared like water. I wanted to drink a delicious red wine since it's a special reunion. However, it's the first time we drink wine together? Since I don't know their preferences, I consulted with the sommelier and decided on this one. 1984 Pommard Rugiens 1er Cru Domaine Billard Gonnet. Ah, this is nice. This is how you age gracefully. It's to Doraemi's liking. The food was classic with fresh oysters and white asparagus with hollandaise sauce. It goes well with the additional champagne and red wine. I could drink the wine with just the fluffy sauce! (I tried to be modest with the lamb chops, but I ate Doraemi's share as well.) The meat was tender, the seasoning was good, and the grilled vegetables were great. I finished it all in one go! I can't come here every day, but it would be nice to come regularly. (lol) Thank you for the meal! ☆

Tsubaki, the top French wine restaurant in Nishi-Azabu with a history of over 40 years, is a place where the atmosphere is filled with classical music and various languages until 5 AM. On this particular evening, a gathering of four prominent figures including a former Goldman Sachs executive, a high-ranking IT company CEO from Shiga Prefecture, and a successful individual from Hokkaido took place. The night began with a toast of Dom Perignon Cristal, followed by enjoying four bottles of wine, including a 20-year-old Mouton from 1997. The foie gras, truffle, and whitebait gratin were exquisite, as well as the penne pasta. The highlight of the meal was the special consommé soup that has been simmering for over 20 years. The strawberries from Hashimoto were of the highest quality, and the melon was a revelation as a drink. Tsubaki truly surpassed all expectations, offering a blissful and happy dining experience. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

"Tsubaki" is located on a side street off the main road in Nishi-Azabu. The staff members have strong personalities, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is unique. No matter how many times you visit, you'll feel a mysterious sensation. Dishes like caviar-topped soft-boiled eggs and strawberries generously drizzled with truffles exude luxury. The prices are also high-end, as expected. With a wide selection of wines, it's also a great place to enjoy as a wine bar.

The eccentric wine enthusiast aunt recommends a variety of wines that you can't find elsewhere. She always insists on putting truffles on everything she eats, which can get quite pricey. She's open to anything, but it can end up costing a fortune! 😉

I used "Tsubaki" in Hiroo, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo late at night. It's a French wine bar that stays open quite late. The wine I had was Nuits-Saint-Georges, and it was absolutely delicious. I paired it with black wagyu beef tataki. This place is a must-visit for wine lovers.
