I visited 【élan vital】, located 5 minutes from Yoyogi Station! The president held a "Well done this month as well" meeting at the end of the month! We went to Élan Vital! This is a unique restaurant where you can enjoy a combination of food, visuals, and music in a 5D dining experience. The chef, who trained at a three-star restaurant in Paris, provides the dishes. The restaurant allows customers to decide the names of the dishes together with the restaurant, and you can even print names or photos of memories on the plates and glasses for a surprise element. It was my first time having a zoom meeting before entering a restaurant! I think they only accept one group per day, so the restaurant staff will go all out to provide hospitality! The atmosphere inside the restaurant is unlike any other, with equipment I've never seen in a dining establishment before, like a lab! They use 3D printers to make dishes and tableware. Please see the photos of the dishes that were actually served! Two staff members were assigned to each table, providing top-notch service. Since we visited with our company members, the restaurant printed our company name on the plates, offering a unique service. Performance-based dining establishments like this sometimes lack in taste, but here, the taste is authentic French cuisine! They even reflect your preferred ingredients in the menu, which is delightful! I highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions with loved ones! It was delicious!

Everything about this restaurant sets it apart from others. With projection mapping and playful dishes, it is a unique and enjoyable dining experience. I visited this newly renovated restaurant this spring and was immediately impressed. It is a private restaurant that accommodates only one group per seating, offering custom-made courses tailored to each guest based on their preferences shared in a Zoom meeting prior to the visit. The entrance features a lab with various equipment, and even the tableware is 3D printed to match the guest, which can be taken home as souvenirs. The chefs, Fujiwara and Fukasaku, put an extraordinary amount of effort into every detail, creating a dining experience that is truly exceptional. The menu includes dishes like crab miso with uni and egg, mushroom risotto with apple juice, onion and corn potage, pate de campagne with foie gras and pink pepper, shrimp and cream cheese terrine, sea bream sashimi with dashi jelly and red wine salt, foie gras terrine with a balance of acidity and sweetness, roasted cutlassfish with sake and bonito butter sauce, liquid nitrogen popcorn with truffle oil, and roasted beef tongue with sukiyaki-style sauce and egg yolk. The dessert involves a projection of the universe and dinosaurs appearing on the table, with edible dinosaur bones. The experience exceeded all expectations, offering a new interpretation of dining.

I wouldn't have chosen this place myself, but I was invited and decided to give it a try. It's conveniently located near the station, just a short walk away from it. I wonder what kind of excitement it will bring today. Let's see!... Oh, this creativity is borderline eccentric. Not only is it delicious, but the design is outstanding. I must come back again. It's a must for a date night.

I really wanted to visit this restaurant, so I managed to make a reservation for lunch. The lunch and dinner courses are the same price, and the seating is limited in a sophisticated, dimly lit interior where you can relax. The menu is a surprise, and the dishes were excellent, but the real highlight is the unexpected show that continues throughout the meal. The 2.5-hour entertainment show flies by and keeps you entertained. I don't want to give too much away to avoid spoilers, but I highly recommend experiencing it at least once. The course includes food, service charge, 5 drink pairings, and tax, all for 18,500 yen, which I think is a good value for what you get. I look forward to returning for more surprises with a different menu. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I heard that this restaurant is known for its projection mapping. When I actually went there, I found not only projection mapping but also various tricks and puzzles to enjoy along with the meal. It felt more like an amusement park than a regular restaurant, with a dark interior reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland. The atmosphere was so fun that even with someone you don't know well, conversation wouldn't run dry. The head chef and the chef in charge of the dining area have backgrounds in Japanese and French cuisine, respectively. They both worked in Spain and Denmark, which might explain the playful and creative approach to the restaurant. Surprisingly, they are self-taught in all the tricks, including projection mapping. They change the menu every three months, but gradually to keep up with operations. Although the food wasn't exceptional, the restaurant's strong commitment to creating a unique experience is very appealing. It's worth a visit, especially for special occasions or celebrations, as it's a fun amusement restaurant that will surely impress when you bring a lady along.

The instructions are quite overwhelming, so there's no time to relax and enjoy the meal. It may be tough without a certain level of understanding and focus. I don't think it's suitable to bring my mother here. The food itself is a common pattern in modern gastronomy (smoked dishes, liquid nitrogen, etc.), but it is delicious. There wasn't much surprise in the food (maybe I'm already numb to it...). The bear in the forest was tasty. The accompanying greens were very flavorful.

Projection mapping and cuisine, I finally had the chance to visit a restaurant that I had been curious about for a while. The restaurant is located in a place that is not easy to find at first, but the staff were waiting outside for us. The dimly lit interior of the restaurant was very enjoyable, with art projected like a show for each dish. The names and order of the dishes were thoughtfully designed to spark your imagination, making it a fun time to guess what comes next. The dishes were all intricate and truly engaged all five senses. From a fluffy egg to a cork with a taste that pairs well with wine, freshly made jewels, a store-bought monaka, a forest scene that you finish yourself, a creative twist on wasabi, popcorn that makes you laugh when you eat it, a main course made from nature, and a dessert inspired by the history of the Earth. It may sound confusing, but the high-quality ingredients and surprises in each dish are both delicious and fun, so I highly recommend experiencing it for yourself. Especially recommended for those who enjoy puzzles, escape games, or romantic experiences. ◎

Every time a dish is served, you can enjoy different projections like TeamLab, which any woman would love. All the dishes were delicious and satisfying. Especially the beef tongue was the most tender I've ever had, it cut smoothly with a knife. The coffee after the meal was impressive, so I bought some for home later! With alcohol included, ¥18,500 seemed very reasonable. I definitely want to visit this restaurant again!

On special days like birthdays or anniversaries, this is the perfect restaurant to choose! You can enjoy French cuisine along with projection mapping and installation art, engaging all five senses. The menu is random, allowing you to anticipate a story with each dish. The process of finishing the dishes yourself using tools like tweezers and flasks adds to the wonderful memories. The food is beautiful and delicious. For those who don't like alcohol, there is tea pairing available! Even after finishing the meal, you can take home some surprises, creating a sense of excitement similar to an escape game. Note that due to equipment constraints, tables are set up for two people each, so be careful when making reservations for odd numbers. ■ Menu - Reading - Monaka (wafer filled with sweet bean paste) - Seabed - Jewel - Shared love - Bonfire - Fairy tale - Parent and child

I wanted to revisit this place since my last visit and finally found the perfect timing. The location between Yoyogi and Kitazando has a unique charm.
[Key Points]
1. A rare restaurant that uses projection mapping extensively.
2. A wonderful course where you can enjoy cooking with hidden tools on the table.
3. Reasonably priced at 16,000 yen including pairing (non-alcoholic as of August 2021).
4. The food is delicious.
[Course Contents]
- Bisque of deep-sea crab.
- Scrambled eggs with white asparagus in red wine sauce, topped with truffle. The truffle flavor is just right.
- Specialty in a small box. A balsamic vinegar and foie gras pastry. Enjoy it with matcha. It's like a dessert but actually a savory dish. The box projects images of carp and Edo streets. It's intricately packaged like a candy, with expiration dates and ingredient lists.
- Jewel scallop, sea urchin, caviar. Throw a stone from the table into the plate and watch as the clear liquid turns into a solid emerald. A beautiful dish.
- Children's song-shaped smoked salmon terrine. Serve with sour cream sauce and fine pasta. Arrange vegetables and cheese on the plate to complete your dish. The terrine is moist and flavorful, very delicious.
- Parent-child belly and ikura red vinegar rice with raw seaweed sauce.
- -196°C truffle oil popcorn. The truffle aroma is rich, and the coldness is exquisite. Amazing.
- Bonfire. Large cut beef tongue. Perfectly seared. The surface is crispy while the inside is tender and juicy. The burdock root resembling charcoal and tomato-based sauce complement each other perfectly. The main dish has the best balance.
- Love to share. Table art and dessert with projection mapping. Break open a chocolate sphere to find fruits and sweets inside, which is already lovely. The projection mapping resembling the universe and the ability to have a cool message written on the table are fantastic. Even though there was no one celebrating a birthday, they wrote "Happy Birthday" (lol).
The level of food has improved since my visit a year ago. The course, with its unique and theatrical elements, is truly impressive. Despite some minor inconveniences due to the synchronized start and many performances, I believe this restaurant is truly wonderful and worth experiencing at least once.

I visited a French restaurant in Yoyogi, Tokyo, recommended by a friend, and it was full of surprises with great entertainment value! The food was also delicious! In a way, it felt like the Disneyland of Yoyogi!笑

After reading an article about the restaurant from a follower, I became interested and organized a gourmet club to visit. The owner and chef, Mr. Fujiwara, explained that he aims to make high-end French cuisine more approachable by adding unique touches. I found the flavors to be clear and delicious, making it easy to enjoy, even though high-end French cuisine can sometimes be too complex for me. I can't reveal too much about the dishes, but I can mention that they involve projection mapping for added entertainment and are served as a French course meal. Overall, the experience was entertaining and surprising, lasting over 3 enjoyable hours. The flavors were bold and easy to understand, typical of French cuisine. The non-alcoholic pairings, while rich in fruit juice, felt a bit heavy. This place would be perfect for a date, and knowing about it would definitely raise your reputation. It's like an attraction with French cuisine. The price is 17,000 yen per person, but I believe it's worth experiencing.

Yoyogi Elan Vital is located in a residential area a short walk from Yoyogi Station. It might be easy to get lost, so it's best to go early and confirm the location. The unique feature of this restaurant is the fusion of projection mapping and French cuisine. All customers start at the same time. The interior of the restaurant is quite dark, with videos playing to match the dishes. The flow is video -> meal -> video -> meal, with surprises hidden in each dish. There are dishes that make you wonder, "Can I eat this?" with many interesting surprises. I won't spoil it by writing more, but I think it's worth experiencing at least once. Apologies for my lack of photography skills. Thank you for the meal.

The atmosphere is like wondering where the shop is located a little walk from Yoyogi Station. Due to the state of emergency during the coronavirus, they were only operating for a limited time. The course names are very unique, such as Reading, Senbei, Bubbles, Jewels, Sharing Love, Bonfire, Fairy Tale, Parent and Child. They use projection mapping along with decorations for a more flashy presentation. Personally, I really enjoyed the Senbei. It was delicious with pistachio cream sandwiched between the Senbei, making it enjoyable as both an appetizer and a dessert. For the Fairy Tale dish, you need to assemble the pig-shaped pate yourself, which was a unique and fun experience. I particularly liked the Bonfire beef, which was tender, and the burdock root made to look like charcoal as a side dish. Lastly, the dessert allows you to fully enjoy the projection mapping. Besides the food, there are other surprises to discover, but I won't spoil it too much. It makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. I can see why this place is popular. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Projection mapping and French fusion are expressed at this well-known experiential restaurant. I won't go into detail about the production to let you imagine various things through the images. It was my first visit in a while, and I felt like the production had been further powered up. First and foremost, I felt grateful for being able to have this experience before even considering the taste. It appeals to all five senses, making it a rare and valuable experience among experiential restaurants. With various "tricks" to entertain you, the pairing and meal content make the price of 18,000 yen seem cheap. Particularly impressive was the dish called "Fairy Tale", which was a dish inspired by the three little pigs, with smoked salmon terrine dressed as a piglet. The fun of completing the dish by arranging it yourself was enjoyable. As for taste, the foie gras in a matcha-flavored cream puff was the best, a classic choice! The dessert also had an interesting production waiting, and after the meal, you leave the restaurant with the scent of white wine perfume. It's a place you'll want to visit again as time goes by.

A hidden French restaurant with an atmosphere that feels like being in an amusement park until the end. The lighting inside is generally dim, with each dish being accompanied by a different performance. There are hints hidden on the table to help with the meal, making it a fun experience resembling solving a mystery. With 3D projection mapping and installation art, the restaurant is full of entertainment. It's best to focus on the meal, so it may not be suitable for a "first date" or a meal where you want to have a conversation (as the atmosphere can be distracting). However, it could be a good choice for couples looking to change things up or for those who struggle with conversation (as the amusement park-like elements can help fill the gaps).

I initially canceled my reservation, but decided to visit after receiving polite follow-up. The atmosphere and decorations were enjoyable, with fun touches like teddy bear decorations. I prefer smaller dishes, so I found the sweets to be delicious. However, the main fish dish with nori sauce was not to my taste. I received a souvenir and had a fun time until the end. If the decorations change, I would like to visit again.

I was able to go to the restaurant I had been interested in for my friend's birthday celebration. It's an experience that can be enjoyed with all five senses, so I think the amazingness won't be conveyed unless you actually experience it. The course is highly entertaining and incredibly cute. The bear-shaped hot towel smells nice, the pairing is excellent, and the foie gras risotto that looks like a cork, the key-like lighting reminiscent of Ariel or Alice, the test tube pouring, the forest bear, the scallop bear, and when you open the perfume bottle... The meat is delicious too, and they even did a table art birthday celebration at the end. It's just amazing and can be enjoyed with all five senses! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Chef Shinsaku Naoki's restaurant, Elan Vital, is a bold and innovative dining experience that combines visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and gustatory elements in a 5D concept using projection mapping. For those who feel that recent innovations have been lacking, this restaurant will surely impress with its unique and avant-garde approach. The food is also quite enjoyable. Please note that the photo is from a visit in September, so there may be new displays to enjoy. Additionally, I have refrained from sharing a special surprise at the end of the course, so please look forward to experiencing it in person. This restaurant is perfect for birthdays, celebrations, and offers entertainment, excitement, and romance. Thank you for the wonderful meal!
