After having dinner with a friend I hadn't seen in a while, we decided to find a place for tea in Shibuya. We stumbled upon Miyashita Park, which we had never seen before, and decided to explore. We found a quiet spot inside with single seats by the window and larger tables for two or four in the center. We chose a sofa seat and relaxed with coffee floats and lemon squash, enjoying a peaceful conversation.

I entered here because I wanted to eat something light. Perhaps because it was a café in a bookstore, the customers seemed to be quietly enjoying their time. There was no explanation from the staff, but I wonder if there were any rules. The hamburger was delicious! I will definitely come back.

Even though the sun isn't out, it's hot at Miyashita Park. Enjoy a break at Tenro-in Cafe with a ginger ale in hand! #GingerAle #TenroinCafe #miyasitapark

It's a nomad cafe. There are many counter seats and Wi-Fi available, so there were a lot of people working on their laptops. The atmosphere is calm, so it's good for chatting quietly with a friend. I ordered a matcha latte for 520 yen (can be upgraded to a float for 720 yen). I had soft serve ice cream on top of my matcha latte. On such a hot day, the coldness of the soft serve really hit the spot. However, the ice cubes were a bit big... and the drink portion was a bit small, which was a bit disappointing. Despite being popular for nomad use, there are also large sofa seats, so it's a good place to go with a group of people. It's recommended for both a break from shopping and for nomad use!

[Tenrokuin Cafe SHIBUYA] Located in Shibuya Miyashita Park South 3F, this cozy BOOK Cafe offers a Cream Soda for 660 yen. The soft serve ice cream in it is incredibly delicious. I think they use Hokkaido milk for the soft serve ice cream on the menu. It's rich and creamy, but has a refreshing aftertaste, and it was very tasty. The books they have seem interesting, and they also sell books and goods at the cafe. It's a great place to relax and spend some leisurely time.

I visited the book cafe "Tenro-in Cafe" located on the 3rd floor of Miyashita Park, a 3-minute walk from Shibuya Station. Each branch has a different atmosphere, with my personal favorites being Kyoto and Enoshima. However, I have been mainly using the Shibuya branch recently. While Shibuya was mainly known for share lounges and wired cafes, ever since I discovered this place, I find myself coming here often due to its cozy atmosphere. The only downside is that the restroom is a bit far. You can get a coupon for a free coffee on your next visit by adding them as a friend on LINE. I'm curious about the curry! Coffee (420 yen) and homemade lemonade squash (583 yen).

I had an iced cafe latte for 550 yen. There are plenty of counter seats. There are also sofa seats. I was prepared for a seat-hunting game, but the place was not crowded, and I could choose my seat freely. It's a hidden gem. The atmosphere was cozy and I ended up staying for a long time. Weekdays are especially recommended. I will definitely go again. Thank you for the meal.

[I went to Tenrouin Cafe in Shibuya around 2:00 PM on a holiday. I had their homemade lemonade squash. It was a drink that had the acidity of lemon and the sweetness of honey. Personally, I thought it would have been fine without the honey, but it was delicious. Thank you for the meal.]

Book Cafe on the 3rd floor of Miyashita Park in Shibuya. This cafe is convenient because it has power outlets and Wi-Fi. They serve hot coffee here. The books they have are all interesting, so you can buy and read them right away. Highly recommended for book lovers!

Cafe located in MIYASHITA PARK 3F. I ordered the luxury burger drink set (880 yen) and chose iced coffee as the drink. It was served in about 8 minutes. The highlight was the patty made with meat from Shonan, but personally, I preferred the slightly chewy semi-hard buns, made with Kiryu yeast bread. I had never heard of it before, so I looked it up and found out it is yeast made in Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture. You can also purchase it from the Style Bread website. The patty seemed small at first glance, but it was over 2cm thick and very satisfying. It had a light and healthy aftertaste. I ended up choosing this place because I was short on time, but it turned out to be a great choice. I now want to try other items on the menu.

I ate soft serve ice cream here in the summer and it was so delicious that I ended up sharing it with my friends! However, it got quite cold in the evening and I started feeling chilly haha. At least having a hot coffee was the right choice! It was cold but still, the soft serve ice cream here was really tasty ^_^ Cheers! Cheers!

Visited around 2 pm on a weekday for a stroll in Miyashita Park. Located on the 3rd floor near the entrance on the Shibuya station side. Half of the store is a bookstore, with people reading books or working. The café was not too crowded, about 70% of the seats were empty. The menu had a variety of meal options like butter chicken curry. There are interesting izakayas and cafes in the back of Miyashita Park, so it's a tough choice whether to eat here or there. The drink prices were reasonable at 400 yen each. It was a perfect place to rest and charge your phone after walking around the shopping mall. I will definitely visit again for a break! Thank you for the meal!

There is Wi-Fi, power outlets, a bookstore nearby, a nice view, and delicious drinks. I thought it would be a great place to work someday! The food looks good too, although I didn't eat today. There were a few people working on their laptops, and it wasn't too crowded, so it was easy to get a seat.

I came to Miyashita Park for the first time since it has been beautifully maintained. It was hot and humid, so I took a break after walking. There are many restaurants and cafes to choose from, making it difficult to decide. I chose the cafe "Tenroin Cafe SHIBUYA" on the 3rd floor of "RAYARD MIYASHITA PARK South". The cafe also sells books and miscellaneous goods, and has a relaxing atmosphere. I ordered the "Homemade Lemonade Squash" for 583 yen. The lemon scent was refreshing and very delicious, but the quantity was small and it disappeared quickly. It felt a bit pricey.

I went to try the curry that was featured on TV. I thought the taste was delicious. It had a simple flavor that effectively highlighted the various spices, rather than a complex blend of spices. I felt the portion size was a bit small. I think a price around 600 yen would be more reasonable than 880 yen. Also, I was not offered water, and I found out it was self-service when I returned the tray. I wish they had mentioned to customers without drinks that "water is self-service."

Shibuya "Tenrouin Cafe" for Beer & Job Tokyo business trip on the 2nd day... No more work to do, but due to the pandemic, my go-to Star Flyer doesn't have flights until the evening... So, I decided to visit Miyashita Park as a tourist. The weather was nice, and the rooftop was a pleasant place to relax. When I went down to the 3rd floor, I found "Tenrouin Cafe" there. It's spacious compared to the one in Fukuoka. Of course, you can charge your phone and connect to Wi-Fi... I enjoyed a 333 beer for 715 yen. It was so comfortable. The weather was nice, and it was a good time.

Lunch in early February 2021 (Tuesday). I watched a TV show called "Gekirea-san" a while ago and saved it, it was a cafe located in a bookstore. It seems to be a chain with several stores, and this one was the closest to me, so I decided to check it out. It is located on the 3rd floor of a new commercial facility under Miyashita Park, right after you go up from JR Shibuya Station side. It's amazing that they built a commercial facility under the park in Shibuya. I arrived around 1 pm, and there were about 4-5 people scattered inside. It had a relaxed cafe atmosphere. I ordered at the register, paid upfront, received a number tag, and then waited at my table for the food to arrive. I tried the "Butter Chicken Curry That My Ex-Boyfriend Loved" which had a name that really hits you in the heart. I also added an iced coffee as a drink set. According to the TV show, the developer of this curry spent years researching and developing the recipe because he wanted to be loved by a man in his younger days. The love didn't work out in the end due to various reasons, but the experience led the developer to realize that people don't turn around for simple specs, and this philosophy also applies to running a business. The show portrayed the developer as a love guru, which was quite entertaining. After a short wait, the food arrived with a small side salad. Taking into account all the background information, I tasted the curry. It was delicious! If this casually appeared in my girlfriend's room, I would be surprised, and even if it was served at a cafe without prior information, it would still be impressive. It had a good balance of spices, buttery richness, and tomato umami, making it very easy to eat. Despite the heavy name, it was a light and tasty curry. The spiciness level was around medium. As it was a cafe, the portion size was modest, which was perfect for me as I prefer to eat until I'm 80% full. As an old man, I have learned from various experiences that focusing only on short-term gains and losses is foolish, but if you put in genuine effort, even if the result doesn't match your expectations at that time, it will benefit you in the long run. This episode of "Gekirea-san" was really funny.

Book cafe. The bookstore section is focused on business books because of Tenrouin-san. You can pay for books and tea at the same time. The tea is delicious. It's not self-service. The Wi-Fi works well. The terrace is starting to get a little cold. Will they bring out the stove?

I visited a cafe on the 3rd floor of Miyashita Park in Shibuya around 11:30 on Sunday and there were only a few groups of people. Gradually more people started coming in, and it seemed like there were a lot of solo customers. The cafe has a food court-like atmosphere with counter seats by the window, table seats, and sofa seats in the middle, making it easy for solo customers to use. There are power outlets at the counter seats. There are also sofa seats and table seats outside, and self-serve water is available. You pay first, receive a number tag, and then choose your seat. I ordered the matcha French toast (550 yen) and it came out in about 10 minutes. The eggs were runny and the matcha flavor was just right, making the French toast not too sweet and easy to eat. It's not a one-drink system, so you don't have to force yourself to order more, which is convenient. They also accept payment methods like PayPay and Rakuten Pay, which is rare for a cafe.

Near Shibuya Station is Miyashita Park, which has undergone a major redevelopment with the emergence of a new landmark called Yokocho. The first floor features a row of street food-style stalls where you can enjoy daytime drinking. On the upper floors, there is a more relaxed atmosphere with a diverse food court. Despite the pandemic, daily life seems to be unfolding as usual. On the third floor, there is a cafe called "Tenro-in" which is attached to a bookstore. The trendy atmosphere of the cafe fits well with the concept of the building. I ordered the "Luxury Hamburger (drink set, 880 yen)" but unfortunately, the operation seemed a bit off. It took over 25 minutes for the burger to arrive after the cola was served, and part of the hamburger was oddly cold. While this may be understandable to some extent, it would have been better if I was the only one experiencing this disappointment. The cafe offers free Wi-Fi and the service is good, so overall, the impression is not bad.
