Set menu Daruma for 2 people course ⚪︎ Mentaiko mochi cheese monjayaki ⚪︎ Daruma-ten (okonomiyaki) Drinks x 2 1730 yen per person 3460 yen total Beef tendon yakisoba 1290 yen While shopping in Asakusa, we decided to try monjayaki at this restaurant instead of going back to ZENYA where we had been before. When we arrived at the restaurant after 6:00 PM, the place was full and there were about 10 people waiting outside. We decided to wait as going back to Asakusa didn't seem worth it at that point. It seems like a popular place. We looked at the menu while waiting. Surprisingly, we were seated in about 15 minutes. We decided to keep it simple and ordered the 2-person course. When the monjayaki and okonomiyaki arrived, we were asked, "Would you like us to cook it for you?" We opted to have it cooked for us as we were sure it would taste better that way. Next time, we might try cooking it ourselves, using the tips we observed. The ingredients were chopped and cooked quickly. The technique of chopping and mixing the ingredients was impressive. The monjayaki was delicious with a crispy texture. It didn't fill us up much, but it was tasty. The addition of mentaiko that occasionally had a spicy kick was a nice touch. The okonomiyaki was also cooked for us. The Daruma-ten had seafood and a lot of cabbage, but the texture was a bit too firm because it was overcooked. If there was more cabbage, it might have been softer and fluffier. Since the okonomiyaki was cooked without a lid, the inside tended to be a bit dry, which was a bit disappointing. Feeling a bit unsatisfied, we also ordered the yakisoba. This dish was generous, with enough for two people. The noodles were thin, and there were plenty of vegetables. However, there wasn't much beef tendon, and the sauce was a bit too sweet for our liking. The sweetness of the sauce overpowered everything else. The staff's cooking skills were excellent, so it's more enjoyable to have them cook for you. For the monjayaki, adding toppings like Baby Star noodles might enhance the flavor. For the okonomiyaki, if you're not confident in flipping it, it's better to have it cooked for you. The sauce on the yakisoba was a personal preference. The noodles and beef tendon were good. Monjayaki is more about the experience than the taste, so we were satisfied overall and had a good time.

[Ordered items (excluding consumption tax)] - Daruma Special: 1500 yen - Gomoku Tempura: 1350 yen - Draft beer (medium): 650 yen [Personal thoughts (comments. It depends on the ordered items, and everyone has their own taste and feelings)] - Visited (revisited) early in the morning on Saturday (regarding okonomiyaki and monjayaki) - Just like last time, it was very delicious. (Others) - There was a wonderful staff member (I apologize for calling them elderly) who was very considerate. They moved the ice in the children's juice, provided a separate plate, and it was much appreciated. Thank you for the pleasant customer service. - This time, I was the first one to arrive early in the morning, so I was able to enter immediately. - The Sumida Aquarium annual passport benefit (for bills over 5000 yen) was a free monjayaki spatula (brand new, received at the register). - I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

While admiring the Skytree, we decided to also indulge in some Monjayaki in Tsukishima. When we arrived at the restaurant, there was already a large crowd waiting. However, we were determined to try it, so we waited and were seated in less than an hour. We enjoyed a variety of Monjayaki, Yakisoba, and Okonomiyaki dishes and left feeling satisfied and full.

This is a restaurant review for the Monja restaurant on the 7th floor of Tokyo Skytree Soramachi. Even on a weekday night, there was a 20-minute wait. The staff will cook for you if you ask. I had the Monja with mentaiko and cheese, and the staff cooked it perfectly, retaining the raw texture of the mentaiko while making it delicious. By the way, you can't see the Skytree from this restaurant.

It was delicious (laughs). Despite the 30% PayPay discount, we had to wait for an hour in a line of 13 groups at 1715. Most people only ordered set meals, and there were few customers who lingered around like in a traditional downtown restaurant, so the turnover rate was fast. I grew up in a downtown area, so I used to go to okonomiyaki restaurants often, but I haven't been since the spread of COVID-19. This was my first time having okonomiyaki in a while. The key to delicious okonomiyaki is to have sliced squid, pickled ginger, and Baby Star noodles, so I added Baby Star noodles as a topping. The okonomiyaki, which is slightly burnt like in the second photo, was delicious. My wife wanted to eat okonomiyaki, so we reluctantly ordered it, and it was also delicious (laughs).

After waiting for about an hour, we ate at an okonomiyaki restaurant. As expected, all the restaurants in the tourist area were crowded. We ordered cheese okonomiyaki and monjayaki with a champon-style twist. The okonomiyaki was cooked by the staff on the hot plate and it was delicious!

[Ordered Items (excluding consumption tax)] - Daruma Special: 1500 yen - Gomoku Tempura: 1350 yen - Corn Butter: 490 yen - Draft Beer (medium): 650 yen [Personal Thoughts] - Visited early on a Saturday morning (regarding Monja and Okonomiyaki) - Had both Monja and Okonomiyaki prepared by the staff. - The Monja had a strong umami flavor, the sauce was just right, and the cabbage had a nice crunch. The staff (who was a new employee) did a great job! It was delicious. - The Okonomiyaki was fluffy and also very tasty. - The staff asked if we needed a separate plate for our small child, and they set up a wall of towels in front of the teppan. Their thoughtfulness was much appreciated. - Payment by card was possible. - Although we were the fourth group to arrive early in the morning, we had to wait for about 15 minutes at the entrance even though there were empty seats. The staff explained it was because they needed time to cook, but it seemed like they might have been short-staffed. - I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

At Solamachi, I had monjayaki, and it was delicious! I went in the early evening, but the place was still bustling. The staff cooked everything for us, which was convenient. We started with bacon and asparagus as a snack with our drinks. The bacon, simply grilled, was incredibly tasty. We also had seafood cream monjayaki, packed with the flavor of the sea. We tried two different types of monjayaki in total. Unlike okonomiyaki, it doesn't feel heavy on the stomach, so you can keep eating more! (laughs)

I love Monjayaki in Tsukishima! It was my first time visiting the Skytree branch. We had to wait for over an hour during lunchtime, but I wanted to eat it again so we went back the same evening and were able to get in without waiting. The staff carefully prepared the food, so I felt safe eating it. Whenever I visit Tokyo, I always make sure to eat here, and no matter how many times I eat it, it's always delicious.

When I visited the Skytree with friends and was invited to enter, I also had okonomiyaki for the first time, having only eaten at a chain store in Dotonbori before, so that was my only comparison. It was just normal, delicious but nothing special. The staff cooked it for us! The table was small, and we struggled to eat, even though there were three of us. We felt that a four-person table was too cramped for three people.

Visited around 11:10 a.m. The restaurant had just opened but was already full with a line forming. After waiting for about 15 minutes, we were seated. The premium menu included a three-cheese mentaiko mochi monjayaki, which was a limited Olympic commemorative dish. The combination of cheese and mentaiko flavors was delicious. Mixing in the camembert cheese completely transformed the taste into a rich and flavorful dish. We also tried the Skytree monjayaki, which was filled with a variety of seafood like squid, octopus, shrimp, scallops, and clams. The generous portions of seafood made it more like a seafood stir-fry than traditional monjayaki. The squid and thick scallops with butter were particularly tasty. The dish also came with vegetables like green onions, bell peppers, shiitake mushrooms, bean sprouts, and more. To finish, we had yakisoba with beef tendon, which was a unique and delicious combination. The beef was high-quality and melted in the mouth. The staff cooked everything for us, but the cooking styles varied among them. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

I always visit on weekdays during lunchtime to avoid the long lines on weekends. Even around 11:30, about half of the seats were filled, so we were able to enter immediately. It's convenient that the staff cook the food for you. When ordering two dishes for two people, keep in mind that only one can be cooked on the teppan at a time, so it's more of a sharing experience. The food was delicious, but due to the location at Solamachi, the cost is around 1,500 yen per person, making it a bit expensive in terms of value for money.

There is a monjayaki and okonomiyaki restaurant in Solamachi. The main branch is located in Tsukishima, so you can expect authentic flavors. It seemed to be a popular place as I had to wait outside for about an hour on a holiday afternoon. I ordered the Mochi Mentaiko Cheese, Tsukishima Bakudanyaki, and a draft beer, costing around 2000 yen per person. While many monjayaki places require you to cook it yourself, here you can also have the staff cook it for you. The Mochi Mentaiko Cheese was perfectly cooked with a good balance of mochi, mentaiko, and cheese. The okonomiyaki was a full-spec one with seafood and pork. It had a lot of ingredients.

One of the purposes of this visit was to climb the Skytree's Tembo Galleria. I have been here several times, but I have always come for the night view, so this was my first time during the day. After enjoying the view, my partner wanted to eat Monjayaki. We were originally planning to eat in Tsukishima, but due to lack of time, we decided to eat here instead. We sat at a table with a sunken hearth, and the water was self-service. The staff will cook for you, but you can also cook it yourself. We ordered the Mochi Mentaiko Monja, Yakisoba, and Alley Salad. The Monja was delicious, but the Yakisoba was even more delicious and very satisfying. Thank you for the meal.

I had lunch at Daruma Tokyo Skytree Town Soramachi store✨ This time I wasn't with children, but Soramachi has nursing rooms and diaper changing stations, so it's child-friendly❤️ However, when it comes to teppanyaki, it can be a bit dangerous, so even though there were tatami seats, I wouldn't recommend it for families with children. Here's what I ordered‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️: - Crispy Caesar Salad 580 yen - Mochi Mentaiko Cheese 1450 yen - Daruma Tempura 1250 yen - Beer 600 yen The total bill was satisfying and affordable for three people at under 4000 yen! The Mochi Mentaiko Cheese monjayaki is a classic, but the chewy mochi and the bits of mentaiko were delightful♡♡ Even the burnt rice was delicious!! And the Daruma Tempura, while technically okonomiyaki, had 7 types of seafood in it, which was surprising‼️ It was instantly clear why it's such a popular menu item - it was delicious.

Tokyo Skytree Town Solamachi 7F, a Monja-yaki / Okonomiyaki restaurant called "Tsukishima Specialty Monja Daruma" where there is a long line of customers waiting. On a holiday around 17:40, the restaurant was already full and there were about 20 people waiting in line. However, surprisingly, I was able to enter the restaurant relatively quickly around 18:30. After disinfecting and getting my temperature checked, I entered the restaurant filled with delicious smells! This time, I ordered the "Crispy Caesar Salad," "Tsukishima Bomb Yaki," and "Musashi Monja." The staff will cook the food for you, so all you have to do is watch and eat! What a great service! I ordered the Crispy Caesar Salad, which had Baby Star snacks on top. The Caesar dressing was generous, and the cabbage was fresh and crunchy. The perfect amount of saltiness made it delicious! The Tsukishima Bomb Yaki contained a luxurious mix of 12 types of vegetables and seafood. Although we accidentally messed up the finishing touches like sauce and mayonnaise (oops), the professional touch was evident. The golden brown crust and fluffy texture of the pancake were amazing! The cabbage-based vegetables, along with shrimp and octopus, were full of umami flavor and absolutely irresistible! I usually don't like mochi in my okonomiyaki or monja-yaki, but the subtle inclusion here added a nice texture accent. We quickly finished it, laughing all the way! The Musashi Monja, although a bit pricey, was an extremely luxurious monja-yaki with a whole steak inside. The staff cooked it for us, and their skill in chopping the cabbage was impressive. This was also incredibly delicious! The steak, cooked in butter, was very tender, with just the right amount of fat. To find such delicious steak in a monja-yaki restaurant was a pleasant surprise. I don't know if it's the ingredient quality, the fact that it had been a while since I last had it, or simply my lack of cooking skills, but it was truly delicious. I couldn't stop eating, even though I burned my mouth from the heat. I will definitely come back again! Maybe next time, I'll try it in Tsukishima! Thank you for the meal!

Due to the current situation, many restaurants have received low ratings in terms of service and atmosphere, but this place was fine! I decided to visit here because I wanted to eat monjayaki, a dish I have only had a few times in my 64 years of life. I brought along a female friend who has supported me with love for many years, and we had lunch together. During this time of self-restraint, we started with a non-alcoholic beer for 500 yen and a ginger ale for 350 yen. We began with a seafood platter teppanyaki for 1950 yen, which included 2 shrimp, squid, scallops, and vegetables. For the monjayaki, we ordered the classic mochi-mentaiko cheese for 1450 yen and the chanpon-style with meat for 1250 yen, with an additional bacon topping for 300 yen. We watched as the staff cooked the dishes in front of us, and enjoyed eating them one by one. While it may not be enough for experienced monjayaki eaters, it was perfect for beginners like me. Most customers also had their dishes cooked by the staff. It was a bit lonely not being able to enjoy alcohol with the deliciously burnt and fragrant monjayaki. The sauce seemed a bit stronger than the monjayaki I had tried in Monzen-nakacho and Tsukishima before. Next time, I might try a meat-based teppanyaki and a seafood monjayaki combination.

There is a Monjayaki restaurant in Solamachi. I like to go there when I want to have a drink during the day. I don't want to go all the way to Tsukishima because it's a hassle. I found a good restaurant where the staff cooks for you, and it's definitely delicious, even though it's a bit pricey. All the staff members are good at cooking, and it's a pleasant experience. Oh, I forgot to take a picture of the Monja... Anyway, it's a favorite restaurant that I will continue to visit.

At Tokyo Skytree Solamachi, they are really doing it! A special menu for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics featuring "Premium Mochi Monja with Three Cheeses and Cod Roe"! The most popular item, "Mochi Cod Roe Cheese," is topped with Mozzarella and Camembert cheeses. The cod roe is plentiful and the cheese adds a delicious crispy texture. Additionally, there is a thick-cut bacon steak with shiitake mushroom butter that pairs perfectly with butter. To finish off the meal, there is classic yakisoba with a delicious burnt sauce flavor. The teppanyaki style cooking adds to the festival atmosphere, and the dessert of sweet bean paste wrapped in warm skin was a delightful way to end the meal. The staff cooks the teppanyaki right in front of you, serving up piping hot and delicious dishes.

I went to visit the Skytree and decided to eat monjayaki this time. We first visited the Skytree observation deck using the half-price discount for Tokyo residents, and then headed to Daruma for our meal. We arrived at 2 pm and thought we could get in quickly, but there was actually a long line of 8 groups waiting (laughs). We decided to wait it out and finally got to order monjayaki and okonomiyaki. It was my first time at this restaurant and I was impressed by the service where the staff cooks for you. I initially thought I would make the monjayaki myself, but having the staff do it reduced the risk of failure. Watching the staff skillfully make both dishes on the same plate was impressive. Toppings like mayonnaise and seaweed were unlimited, which was a nice touch. The taste of both dishes was delicious. The monjayaki had a crunchy texture from the vegetables, and the okonomiyaki had a great harmony with unique ingredients like octopus and clams. Good points: - Service where the staff cooks for you (and they are skilled at it) - Plenty of toppings
