Espresso Do Wark, located on the basement floor near the Shibuya Station crossing, is a popular cafe dining spot known for its generous portions of food and a variety of pancake and waffle desserts. The Chicken Waffle, topped with fried chicken, stands out with its cinnamon and subtle sweetness. It's a recommended menu item that is best enjoyed with plenty of maple syrup. The combination of sweet treats and savory meat may seem unconventional, but the unexpected pairing is delightful. The Dutch Baby Pancake with cream cheese and prosciutto is a unique twist on pancakes, served as a side dish. The subtle sweetness, saltiness of the prosciutto, and crispy texture of the pancake make for a delightful combination. The pancake is fluffy and made with ricotta cheese, offering a light and fluffy texture with a firm elasticity. The sweetness of the pancake dough is subtle, enhanced by the caramel sauce. The Caramel Nut dessert, with plenty of cream and nuts, creates a voluminous and appetizing experience. The Demi-Glace Omurice features ketchup rice topped with a generous amount of cheese and a runny egg. It's a hearty dish with a straightforward and satisfying flavor that could easily serve two or more. The Shirasu and Cabbage Pasta boldly combines finely chopped cabbage and a generous amount of shirasu (baby sardines) for a Japanese-style pasta dish. It's mixed with anchovy sauce, making it a recommended pasta dish at the restaurant. The menu includes staff introductions and humorous requests to customers, ensuring an entertaining experience even while waiting.

It's so popular in Nagoya that there are long lines! I went just 20 minutes before opening on this newly opened Saturday, and I was second in line. In less than 5 minutes, there were nearly 20 groups in line, and the line was still going even after we finished eating! I ordered the Double Cheese Hamburger Omurice and Corona Beer. Having lunch with beer from noon was the best✨ Inside the hamburger is mozzarella cheese, topped with red demiglace sauce and white camembert cheese sauce. Cheese lovers will definitely love it❤️ The omurice itself is fluffy and melts in your mouth. It was mentioned that you can still order the pancakes and Dutch babies they used to serve, but this time I was too full to even consider it (lol). The atmosphere of the shop and the energetic staff are amazing!! Highly recommended for dates and girls' gatherings✨ Thank you for reading the post. I love drinking and eating, I am a nurse. Espresso D Works in Shibuya is located near 109, but it can be a bit hard to find at first so be careful. When I arrived close to opening time, there were about 3 people in line. It may be a bit intimidating to enter alone as a guy, but I decided to wait in line. I was the only one there by myself, and most of the other customers were couples or groups of women, maybe in their 40s. It's a trendy cafe, and they don't accept cash, which is unique. They also have a 2-hour time limit. The cafe has a nice atmosphere and the staff provide thorough explanations. I ordered the Demi-Glace Cheese Omelette Rice for 1188 yen and added a hamburger topping for 605 yen. I saw the omelette rice on Instagram and it looked delicious, but it seems like most people come here for the pancakes. It took about 25 minutes for my order to arrive. When it did, they cut open the omelette for me. It's more about the overall experience rather than just the taste. I also felt like I wanted to stay longer. Adding this atmosphere to Shibuya might be a good idea. I was in line when my order was ready. Thank you for the meal!

Second visit! Last time I ordered a Dutch Baby, but this time I tried the Omurice. You can choose from three types of rice: butter rice, garlic rice, or ketchup rice, and I chose butter rice. It was delicious. The speed at which the Omurice was prepared was also good.

I visited here because I love souffle pancakes. I ordered the strawberry brulee pancake. The surface was crispy and the inside was fluffy, unlike any other pancake I've had before. The interior was warm and cozy with a woody atmosphere, making it a lovely place to relax even when alone in the middle of Shibuya.

I usually only have pancakes during tea time, but this time I had both omurice and pancakes for dinner. The menu has recently been updated, with more omurice options available. I chose the clam chowder omurice with a choice of ketchup, garlic, or another sauce for the rice, and I decided to go with ketchup. The omurice was served with a fluffy omelette on top, which oozed out beautifully when cut with a knife. It had a rich flavor without being heavy, and was very delicious. It felt like a dish you could keep eating endlessly. The pancakes I chose were the classic fruit-topped ones, and they were as satisfying as ever. The service at this restaurant is characterized by the energetic and friendly staff, making it a very pleasant place to dine. I plan to come back next time to try their meat dishes!

I visited for lunch and found out that the menu had recently changed. Now they only serve omurice, with a variety of flavors to choose from. I preferred the previous menu with more options though. I might prefer another location with a wider menu selection. If you're going for pancakes, this place is a good hidden gem near the station, so I recommend it for cafe use.

I have visited the famous pancake shop in Ebisu several times, but this was my first time trying their lunch menu at the Shibuya store. I found out that if you go for lunch on a weekday, you get a free drink. When my order arrived, the staff cut the omelette rice with a knife. The taste was like a typical cafe meal, but still delicious. What stood out the most was the exceptional service and the smiles of the staff. They even waved goodbye as I left. It was truly a healing experience.

I was a bit prepared for all the pancakes to look quite sweet, but in reality, the cream was light and not too heavy, so I enjoyed it until the end! There were many drink options available, which was great! The seating was a bit cramped as it was underground, but it was so delicious that I was satisfied!

On Sunday around 11:30, two of us visited the restaurant. The place was about half full. We were seated promptly. The space between tables was narrow, giving a cozy feel. The staff was very friendly. They explained the menu and announced that the second glass of water was self-serve. We waited for about 15 minutes for our order: Dutch Baby Pancake with ham and cream cheese to share, Souffle Pancake, and Caramel Nut Pancake. The Dutch Baby Pancake was crispy and slightly sweet, with a nice balance of flavors from the ham, cream cheese, and maple syrup. The edges of the pancake were a bit bitter. The Souffle Pancake was light and fluffy, while the Caramel Nut Pancake was sweet with a touch of saltiness from the nuts. The combination of fluffy pancake, creamy filling, and crunchy nuts was delightful. Although the dishes were delicious, they lacked a wow factor. We paid with a cashless method and the staff were all very cheerful and thanked us as we left. The service was excellent, and we had a wonderful and happy dining experience. Thank you for the meal!

I visited around 3pm on a weekday and was quickly seated as it was not crowded. Upon entering, they explained that they only accept cashless payments. Most of the customers were women, but there were also two men dining together. Everyone seemed to order pancakes without fail. The pancakes were quite light, so they could be a good option to share after having omelettes or burgers.
Items ordered:
July limited edition Peach Pancake
EDW Pancake
Cafe Latte (Soy)
Lemon Earl Grey Pancake
The pancakes were light and fluffy, similar to a cheese souffle. The cream on top had a strong milk flavor and was not too sweet, making it easy to eat. The gelato inside (included in both orders) stayed intact until the end if eaten first. The staff were all friendly and even saw us off until we reached the top of the stairs. Will definitely go back!

I went to eat pancakes for the first time in a while. It was my first time visiting this shop, but I enjoyed the summer beach-like atmosphere inside and the cheerful service of the staff. I had a pancake with lots of whipped cream and fruit, and it was delicious with just the right amount of sweetness in the whipped cream and a hint of milky flavor remaining.

A cafe located in the basement of a building about a 3-minute walk from Shibuya Station. I visited during the weekend cafe time. The Tabelog score at the time of my visit was 3.26 (June 2023). Despite being in the basement of a building and not very noticeable, being near Shibuya Station meant there was a line forming before 4 pm. I waited for about 20 minutes before getting a table. The interior of the cafe is stylish with a wooden design. I ordered the Salted Caramel Nut Pancakes and D.works Latte.
-----
【Salted Caramel Nut Pancakes】It takes about 20 minutes from ordering to being served, as mentioned. The pancakes are fluffy like a souffle, melting in your mouth. They may look voluminous, but they are easy to finish in one go. The whipped cream on top is loose and almost turns into liquid due to the warm pancakes, so it would be better if it were firmer to stay on top. The crunchy nuts and bittersweet caramel sauce complement each other well.
【D.works Latte】Served in a jar, this latte is milk-heavy and smooth in taste.

A hidden gem of a cafe. Thank you for the meal.

I went to the second pancake place for a treat♡ I think the limited edition melon pancake was around ¥2100. The fluffy pancake with a generous amount of fresh cream on top was light and easy to eat! The melon was delicious, it was the first time I had it this year~♪

The fluffy pancakes at this Hawaiian-themed restaurant were amazing. It's located in front of Shibuya 109, and being underground, the signal was a bit weak, but you can borrow Wi-Fi from the staff when paying, so you won't have much trouble with the signal.

I went to the store at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday without waiting in line and had triple chocolate pancakes and an iced cafe latte. My friend's order came first, and by the time I finished eating, my pancakes arrived, which was a bit disappointing. The cookies on top were delicious, but they were sticky and had a topping that made me feel like I was in America.

The fluffy pancakes, which have become a specialty, were delicious with a sweet taste of eggs! They also come with vanilla ice cream, but the sweetness was not overpowering, making it easy to enjoy! It gives off an impression that it would be great for casual meals with friends!

I visited ESPRESSO D WORK Shibuya in Shibuya. The interior of the restaurant has many female staff members, and the atmosphere was great with their energetic service. I ordered the omurice this time. It had mentaiko cream sauce with spicy cod roe on top, which was delicious when mixed together. If you ever feel like having omurice, I recommend visiting this place!

It's been a while since I came to Shibuya, and I came to Bunkamura to see the Kudakawa Ballet Company's "Swan Lake". Shibuya always changes every time I come, so I get excited. After the performance, it was already dinner time, but I felt like having some sweets, so I came to this cafe with a variety of pancake menus. Going down from Dogenzaka, you will find a spacious cafe that makes you forget about the hustle and bustle of Shibuya. ☆ Strawberry Brulee Pancake The fluffy souffle pancake is topped with creme brulee, and then strawberry sauce is poured over it. The pancake was fluffy, but a little cold, maybe it was pre-made? It would have been even more delicious if it was warm. The set coffee was a lightly bitter, refreshing taste that I like. I would have been happy if I could have gotten a refill (laughs). They also have a wide range of menu items such as souffle pancakes, sweet and savory Dutch baby, chicken waffles, and pasta. It's a NY-style cafe, and the interior and tableware are stylish, providing a calm atmosphere in Shibuya. The toilet is like a hidden door, which was interesting, so be sure to experience it. Thank you for the meal.

I was glad that I could enter without waiting. It is close to Shibuya Station and easy to visit alone. The pancakes were decently tasty, nothing special. I think it's a good place for a break or a girls' gathering.

After eating lunch, I had pancakes for dessert. I said I couldn't eat anymore because I was so full, but I ended up finishing it easily because it was delicious. The restroom was stylish and I couldn't figure out where it was at first!! I want to go again ⭐︎
