I finished eating sushi faster than expected and now I have some time left. So, I decided to go get something sweet. I have been to Parco a few times since it was renovated, but it seems like many stores have changed. The turnover is quite fast. I heard that in commercial tenants like this, they might decide to leave on their own, but if the sales are low, they might be asked to leave by the building management. Hamano-ya Parlor seems to be still going strong. But since I don't want to have a meal, I head to this place on the first floor. The staff area is a little further back from the entrance, so it's not easy to notice when you enter. I had a feeling from the entrance that it might be a dimly lit, private room-like place, but the back area is an open, spacious space with tables lined up. Whether you get a comfortable seat or a restless one is up to luck. Luckily, I got a seat by the wall where I could relax. There is a stylish European atmosphere in the air inside the restaurant. I decided to go for a Mont Blanc crepe, which looked the most delicious in the pictures. They don't have set menus here. Since I have quite a bit of time until my next appointment, I opt for some tea to have a few cups. The tea comes in a pot. I was told that the crepe would take about 15 minutes, which is fine by me. It came earlier than expected. Today, just like the nail salon I went to later, everything finished earlier than planned, leaving me with a lot of extra time. I always had to adjust by cutting down on sleep because I never had enough time, always feeling rushed. And here, despite being in a prime location in Shibuya, it's quite calm and you can stay for a long time. There are quite a few people working on their PCs. The cream part of the crepe isn't too sweet. The chestnut paste and vanilla ice cream are sweet, so eating them together balances it out. It looks fancy and boosts your mood. It tastes okay when you eat it. The almonds scattered around look beautiful. I thought there was something different, and it turned out to be dried figs. It's new and nice. I was able to adjust my time slowly. The staff members are business-like and easy-going. When it's time to pay, you take the Eiffel Tower-like ornament (with the table number tag) placed on the table to the counter. I see, I thought the atmosphere was a bit European-like, and it seems they were aiming for that. There are also places like Excelsior nearby, but I think this place is good for time adjustment too.
