I went at a slightly late hour, so there were few customers. There seems to be only one staff member, but they responded quickly when called, so I didn't have to wait at all and was treated very politely, which I appreciate. I think the taste is good. The texture is crispy and I really like it. The miso soup was delicious too, and I was allowed to have seconds. I would like to go eat there again.

This shop used to have bento boxes, but this time I dined in. I had the Wako Rice Set for ¥950, which comes with one pork loin cutlet. When dining in, you can have unlimited refills of rice, miso soup, and cabbage. The tonkatsu is crispy and delicious even in the bento box, but it's definitely different when freshly fried! It's crispy, juicy, and very tasty. What surprised me the most was how delicious the rice was. It's slightly firm and shiny. I love firm rice, so I was really happy about this! In terms of cost-performance, the bento box is better, but I'm happy with the delicious rice and piping hot miso soup when dining in. The satisfaction level is also higher when dining in.

Today is our monthly weekday lunch date, so my husband and I decided to try Washoukan, a restaurant we have only had takeout from before. They offer free refills of rice, cabbage, and miso soup when dining in, but at our age, we decided to skip the refills this time. I ordered the "Hirekatsu set" for 1,430 yen, opting for the hire (fillet) over the rosu (loin) to feel a little less guilty. When the hirekatsu arrived, I was surprised to see that it wasn't the usual three small round pieces I was used to. It turns out I had mistakenly ordered the "Hirekatsu set" instead of the usual "One-bite Hirekatsu set." It felt like a luxurious lunch experience. The hirekatsu was rectangular and cut into eight pieces for easy eating. The crispy coating and tender meat without any tough fibers reminded me of how delicious their tonkatsu is. It was a generous portion, so I had my husband help me finish it. My husband ordered the "Rosu katsu set" for 1,330 yen, and he enjoyed the perfectly cooked crispy exterior with a slightly pink center. He described it as crispy but not greasy, just delicious in a good way. Marv Kitakasai Rietta branch has limited seating, so it might get crowded on weekends. Since we live close enough to enjoy the takeout while it's still hot, we found it more comfortable to leisurely enjoy our meal at home.

The special pork cutlet bento with extra rice was delicious. While the bite-sized pork cutlets were soft and tasty, once you experience the volume and tenderness of the special pork cutlet, it's hard to go back. I appreciated the free extra cabbage and the generous service of the bento. The kombu tsukudani on top of the rice was also very delicious, and everything was so good that I wanted more rice. The cheese-filled menchi katsu was also amazing, so I highly recommend trying this great value bento! It was delicious, thank you for the meal!
