I usually go for sushi or tempura, but I was surprised to find that Kadoe Fishery serves paella! It's priced at 580 yen and comes with plenty of saffron rice. The portion is a bit small and the saltiness is strong, but it's delicious. There's a good amount of octopus and other seafood in it. The prawn included is a whole head-on prawn, which was satisfying. Thank you for the meal!

For lunch today, I bought a "Seafood Tendon (620 yen)" from "Kakuei Gyogyu Hino Store" and just holding it, you can feel the substantial volume of the seafood tendon. You'll understand what seafood means when you try it!! The ingredients include conger eel, sand borer, shrimp, squid, squid tentacles x2, eggplant, green pepper, and two types of vegetables. Everything except the two vegetables is seafood, and it feels like there's even an Ajit tempura. The sand borer and squid tentacles are big, and there are two of each. The conger eel is small but delicious. There is one shrimp of decent size. All this for 620 yen is quite a bargain. The rice also has a good volume. Very satisfying~ Thank you for the meal!!

Today was my wife's first dose of the vaccine. We were late in making a reservation, so we had to go to a hospital in a slightly inconvenient location at this time. I escorted her in the car, and afterwards, we decided to have lunch somewhere. Where to go...? After some thought, we decided to go to Tsunoe, which we hadn't been to in a while. We debated between Kodaira and Hino, but ended up choosing Hino. It was crowded for a weekday lunch. They were implementing COVID-19 measures, with a 30-minute time limit for entry. Normally, 20 minutes is enough for shopping at the supermarket, but 30 minutes might be a bit tight at this store. So, we decided to skip looking for rare fish and instead quickly selected some basic items. For lunch, we got sushi, tuna sashimi for drinking later, and fried horse mackerel and shrimp. The quality of the ingredients was good, but the sushi rice was lacking. The sashimi and fried items were reliably delicious. Having lunch from a specialty store like this instead of a restaurant isn't bad, but I can't help but think that if Tsunoe offered seafood bowls, sashimi sets, and fried dishes for dine-in, it would be quite appealing.

While driving on the Hino Bypass, I saw a truck from Kakuei Fishery in front of me. I thought to myself, "Oh, Kakuei Fishery is also in Hino." After visiting the Shinsengumi sightseeing spot, I decided to stop by for dinner. It was around 2 PM on a Saturday, but the parking lot was filling up quickly. Inside the store, they announced infection prevention measures, but compliance seemed to be lacking. It was crowded. I have visited Kakuei Fishery a few times before, but only at the Yamato Tsukimino store. The Hino store is spacious and offers a wide variety of products. The fresh fish at the counter looked extremely fresh and shiny, displayed boldly and delicately. Since it was Kakuei Fishery, I decided to choose seafood from the Japan Sea. I picked Niigata sweet shrimp sashimi and Tokushima rock oysters, as I hadn't had them this summer. The sushi was completely different from what you find at regular supermarkets, and it was delicious. The "Squid and Iburi Gakko Cheese Salad" paired perfectly with sake. I found a great dish. I wish Kakuei Fishery would expand to areas like Atsugi, Ebina, and Hiratsuka in Kanagawa.

Requested sashimi for my birthday. Revisited this place in Hino City, Tokyo. Got a large takeout to enjoy sashimi at home. Had tuna, salmon, mackerel, horse mackerel, and also added fresh oysters and sea urchin! It was amazing! Perfect for enjoying with drinks! The mackerel sashimi was delicious with grated radish! Great cost performance too! If you want to indulge in sashimi, definitely check this place out!

I purchased fresh fish and sashimi at this store. I ordered horse mackerel and conger eel, and while they were grating it for me, I bought some sashimi. I brought them home and had a sashimi set for dinner that night. I enjoyed plenty of tuna, sea bream, horse mackerel, and sweet shrimp as shown in the photo. It was delicious. I cooked the conger eel sweetly at home and had it the next day. It was also incredibly tasty. Thank you for the meal.

It was really crowded at 1:30 pm, but since I had come this far, I had to go. I quickly went in and bought my favorite crab. It was only 700 yen!! The crab's leg was broken, so the staff gave me some extra legs from other crabs as a bonus. Thank you, kind staff. I returned home via the Aeon Mall Tama Plaza. When I got home, I immediately ate the crab alone (lol). This time, it had a nice salty flavor and was delicious. The meat was also very tasty. Thank you for the meal.

February 3rd is Setsubun, the day when we throw beans. Do you know why we do that? If you don't, Chiko-chan will scold you (lol). There are four types of futomaki rolls: Kakugami Shome Ekimaki for 2,000 yen, Kakugami Kaishin Ekimaki for 1,200 yen, Kakugami Ekimaki for 550 yen, and also Ebi Fry Maki! I thought one roll would be too much for one person, but I ended up eating it all. The ingredients are big and the rice is delicious. Thank you as always. Setsubun is crowded even on weekdays. Last year, it was on a Sunday and there was a long line.

There is a fish supermarket in Teradomari Port, Niigata, located in Hino. It is very popular with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality, and delicious fish at affordable prices. Even on weekdays, there are many customers, and on weekends, the parking lot gets full. You can buy sushi at half price compared to department stores. They offer a wide variety of fish dishes such as fried, grilled, and simmered. I ordered a seafood bowl with tuna, salmon, squid, shrimp, scallop, shirasu, and salmon roe. They also have a seafood tempura bowl with shrimp, conger eel, horse mackerel, squid, and green pepper. The portions are generous and reasonably priced, which explains why it's always crowded.

I bought: 2 pieces of sea bream (400 yen + tax), red snapper (300 yen), blowfish (250 yen), white mill shell (price forgotten), chopped bluefin tuna for sashimi (700 yen + tax), homemade cured mackerel sashimi (380 yen + tax), domestic eel liver skewer (500 yen + tax), 10 pieces of nigiri sushi (1,050 yen + tax), mackerel sushi (380 yen + tax), salmon roe battleship sushi (480 yen + tax), half mackerel battera sushi (250 yen + tax), grilled mackerel with salt (450 yen + tax), Atlantic salmon (308 yen + tax), shrimp fry (150 yen + tax), fried octopus (421 yen + tax), octopus with wasabi (210 yen + tax), octopus kimchi (244 yen + tax), grilled squid (320 yen + tax), salted mackerel (300 yen + tax), large bonito flakes (300 yen + tax), seaweed (150 yen + tax), blanched and sliced turnip (175 yen + tax). As usual, I bought a lot, but it's not enough to eat in one day (lol). The cured mackerel I bought this time was delicious. The mackerel sushi was also very fatty and tasty. For dinner today, I splurged a bit and stopped by Kakuei Gyogyo on Hino Bypass. They had domestic eel kabayaki and a large toro tuna roll, so I couldn't resist and bought them on the spot! I've been wanting to eat eel, but it can be quite pricey, and the cheaper ones are not domestic, so I was hesitant. The domestic eel kabayaki had a good amount of eel and was definitely worth buying. And the large toro tuna roll looked like it would melt in your mouth. When I got home, the eel had a slightly earthy taste, but the meat was thick and the eel sauce was plentiful. I didn't even need to use the included sauce. The toro tuna roll was also delicious, with the fatty tuna melting in your mouth. It was so good - thank you for the feast!

For dinner today, I bought a large shrimp tempura bowl (880 yen) at Kakuei Uojo Hino store on the Hino Bypass. They offer fresh seafood including sushi and sashimi, as well as delicious tempura dishes. The tempura bowl was affordable, filling, and had a variety of fried foods. It had two large shrimp, along with eggplant, green peppers, and other vegetables, all topped with a light sauce. The rice portion was decent and the tempura bowl was more expensive than the seafood bowl, but worth it for shrimp tempura lovers like me. It was a satisfying meal.

We stopped by on our way back from Sanrio Puroland. This was our only enjoyment of the day (lol) as we had lunch inside Puroland. We went in the evening, and there were quite a variety of seafood and sushi items available for sale. We bought: Fried squid cartilage (280 yen + tax), Shrimp fry (150 yen + tax), Two isaki fish, houbou fish, itoyori sea bream (1,200 yen), Sliced raw bluefin tuna (680 yen + tax), Grilled conger eel pressed sushi half portion (380 yen + tax), 10 pieces of nigiri sushi (1,150 yen + tax), Green onion and fatty tuna roll (250 yen + tax), Homemade sardine namero (380 yen + tax), Sardine plum and shiso leaf roll (150 yen + tax), Squid rice (380 yen + tax), Sardine nigiri sushi (380 yen + tax), Atlantic salmon (212 yen + tax), Fresh octopus sashimi (321 yen + tax), Salted mackerel (260 yen + tax), Grilled squid (257 yen + tax), Bay scallop (300 yen + tax), Nagarami (252 yen + tax), Domestic eel liver skewer (500 yen + tax), Half portion of tamagoyaki (450 yen + tax). As always, we went on a shopping spree (lol) but we didn't eat everything on the same day. This time, there were many sardines that my husband likes. Both the sardine nigiri and sardine namero were fresh and delicious (^_^) We bought black bay scallops and nagarami. We indulged in a simmered dish with them. It was delicious. The tuna is red flesh with this visual (lol) I can't go back to regular red flesh tuna anymore (lol) We enjoyed it with Asahi Wakamatsu 26BY and Tamagawa Yamahai (using sake rice "Iwai") that we aged in our home refrigerator♪ (2019/07)

I love fish and sushi, so this place was perfect for me! The atmosphere was lively, with fresh and delicious fish sparkling in the display. They had a variety of sushi, sashimi, whole fish, simmered dishes, and tempura. The selection was amazing and exciting. And the prices were very reasonable! I especially enjoyed the medium fatty tuna sashimi, scallop sashimi, and steamed clams. The salmon was also incredibly flavorful. The grilled silver cod in miso paste was absolutely delicious. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!

I'm happy that I can buy fresh fish at a low price ♡ I usually buy sashimi, but today I bought kinmedai for grilling. It cost 400 yen each. It looks fresh and thick, which makes me happy. I also bought masuko soy sauce marinated fish for 240 yen. It goes well with white rice, right? This shop is so convenient for buying dinner. It was crowded with customers today as well. It's really popular, isn't it?

Today, I went to support a university baseball game and ended up going into extra innings all the way to a tie-breaker, so I got back to my mountain villa late. Oh well, on the way back, I'll buy some food for the cats at the corner store! I was late and if I don't have a souvenir for the cats, they'll be mad! So, I bought various sushi and stuff. I realized that the sushi here has thin toppings and is mainly made with farmed fish, so even though it looks nice, it lacks flavor. The cats didn't eat much either, so I ended up eating the leftovers while looking at a lonely house. The other day, a house near my place was featured in a magazine, you know.

Our third favorite fish store with its main store in Niigata, following Suwa and Sagamihara stores. It is located along the Hino Bypass with a relatively spacious parking lot, making it easier to park compared to the Sagamihara store. The purchases included: ■ Blackthroat seaperch (1,200 yen + tax) ■ Stonefish (300 yen + tax) ■ Houbou (450 yen + tax) ■ Black Venus clam (247 yen + tax) ■ Assorted shellfish sashimi (780 yen + tax) ■ Gizzard shad (318 yen + tax) ■ Grilled ayu fish (350 yen + tax) ■ Pacific saury sushi (380 yen + tax) ■ Squid sushi (380 yen + tax) ■ 10 pieces of nigiri sushi (1,000 yen + tax) ■ Ikura battleship sushi (480 yen + tax) ■ Homemade marinated mackerel sashimi (350 yen + tax) ■ Scallop tempura (350 yen + tax) ■ Tamago sushi (300 yen + tax) ■ Fried octopus (383 yen + tax) ■ Anglerfish (580 yen + tax) *Forgot to take a photo ■ Baby clam (180 yen + tax) *Forgot to take a photo. The Pacific saury sushi, in season now, was very delicious with its rich flavor. The highlight was the Black Venus clam! While we usually buy white Venus clams, this time we found the black ones which are apparently more luxurious but reasonably priced at Kadoe. The bitterness of the liver in the black clam was refreshing and very delicious. Although I forgot to take a photo, the anglerfish had a generous portion for only 580 yen + tax! We bought the blackthroat seaperch, stonefish, and houbou at the counter for a hotpot and acqua pazza as usual. However, I felt that the preparation was a bit sloppy this time. For drinks, I had Akishika Yamahai, Eikun Omachi Yamahai Ooseto, and Datsuryoku, while my husband had Mitake Yamahai, Imada, and Kuroushi. The Mitake Yamahai was selected by my husband for me, but it had a strong ginjo aroma for a yamahai and was not to my liking, so my husband ended up drinking it. We will make sure to stop by on our way back from Tama Zoological Park next time (laughs) (2018/09)

Fresh seafood is always abundantly displayed here. Today, I bought some saury to grill with salt. No need to clean the insides, which is convenient. It's nice to be able to choose which saury to buy. The price of saury has been going down, which is great, but it might be ending soon.

I visited for the first time. It's delicious and cheap. The sushi pieces are big! The rice seemed to be made by a machine, but overall it was delicious and cost-effective. I plan to visit again at the end of the year.
