I went to a famous Saga teppanyaki restaurant in Ginza run by JA, and while the food was delicious, it was a bit pricey. However, in terms of overall value for money, I personally think this restaurant takes the cake! Highly recommended. I visited this restaurant after learning about it through a certain connection. The private rooms, predominantly in black, have a stylish and luxurious feel with high ceilings. I opted for the January Saga beef Sagaya course (¥11,000), where I upgraded the main steak from rump to fillet. Here is what I had: - Appetizer: New Year's appetizer featuring kazunoko, red and white namasu, and more. - Dish with lid: Dish with long yam, including lily bulb, red snapper, shiitake mushrooms, and more. - Meat dish: Saga beef inner thigh meat marinated in kombu with tartare sauce. - Fried dish: Saga beef lean meat cutlet with spicy mustard. - Meat dish: Saga beef sirloin prepared like sukiyaki with white rice. - Steak: Slow-cooked Saga beef lean steak over charcoal. - Noodles: Homemade noodles of the day, which turned out to be udon. - Dessert: Crepe with red Madonna and ice cream. - Tea: Cold-brewed Ureshino tea from Saga. The meal was accompanied by a wine pairing, which was quite interesting. The atmosphere was great, and I look forward to trying out the counter seats next time. Overall, a satisfying dining experience.

I have visited this restaurant several times. The course menu allows you to relax and wait with peace of mind. This time, I asked for wine pairing. I didn't have high expectations, but the pairing unexpectedly brought out delicious flavors that complemented the dishes. Considering the price, it was quite a pleasant surprise. The service was impeccable, with perfect timing, making it a wonderful experience. The private rooms could have been a bit more spacious, but this is Ginza. If you want to enjoy at this price point, this might be the limit. When you need a private room and have a limited budget, this is a good restaurant to consider.

Puzzle Ginza, located in the 2nd block of Ginza, is a building known as the "Meat Building" with many meat-focused restaurants. The first floor is always crowded with a line of people waiting for the famous dumpling restaurant "Tenryu". This time, I had a reservation at Sagaya on the 6th floor. Unlike last time when I had a private room by the window, this time I had a seat without a view, focusing on enjoying conversation and the food. The amuse-bouche consisted of various colorful appetizers that whetted my appetite. The main courses were all meat-focused, with one being a Saga beef sirloin steak, which was incredibly tender and delicious. I had actually requested to change it to Chateaubriand when making the reservation, but I had forgotten about it. No wonder it was so delicious. The next dish was beef sirloin sukiyaki, where thinly sliced sirloin beef was dipped in egg with plenty of black truffles. This dish was exquisite and had been temporarily discontinued in the past but was brought back due to popular demand. It was a delightful experience to enjoy it with white rice. Finally, I had dessert before concluding the meal. Overall, the dishes were easy to eat, of high quality, and left me feeling satisfied. The private room was also a plus, and I look forward to coming back several more times in the future. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I was enveloped in the excitement of the delicious food, but looking back, what left the biggest impression was how friendly the staff were. My friend and I were both impressed by the concise explanations of the dishes by the staff, who also engaged in light conversation without interrupting our own. I later realized how their precise descriptions enhanced our dining experience, and I truly appreciated the excellent service we received. Now, as for the food, it was outstanding. I specifically wanted to enjoy Saga beef, so we opted for the non-kaiseki course. From the oxtail soup to the steak to the sukiyaki, we savored the rich flavors of the meat in each dish. Despite all being Saga beef, the oxtail had a light meaty flavor, the steak was fragrant, and the sirloin had a sweet taste that paired perfectly with the rich mousse of cooked egg and truffle aroma. It was so delicious that I forgot to take photos. The matcha served with dessert was also impressive - cold, clear, with a thick texture and a balance of mild bitterness and a lingering aftertaste. This is a restaurant I confidently recommend to others. They also have collaborations with teamLab, offering even more fantastic experiences, so I look forward to visiting again.

I chose the course with Saga beef Chateaubriand for the first time, and it was delicious with just the right amount of marbling. The sukiyaki-style sirloin on clay pot white rice was especially tasty, topped with egg yolk, meringue with dashi, and black truffle. It was perfectly balanced and not too heavy, allowing the truffle aroma to be enjoyed. Truly a sophisticated meat dish for adults. Thank you for the meal!

The restaurant has a luxurious and calm atmosphere, with cut glass-like walls, blending Japanese and Western styles to create a modern look. Private rooms are the main dining option, although there are also around 5-6 seats at the counter. The service is always excellent, and the food is delicious. I forgot to take photos, but the grilled shabu-shabu with egg sauce and truffles had a wonderful truffle aroma and was very tasty.

Savor carefully prepared dishes featuring Saga beef, from steak to specialty sukiyaki that redefines the concept of sukiyaki. Seasonal Japanese delicacies are also delicious, making it a perfect place to entertain important guests. There is a separate room where you can enjoy a course featuring digital art by teamLab and Saga's cuisine.

Yakiniku restaurants, steak houses, and the trendy (or maybe already outdated?) meat kappo establishments serving high-quality meat dishes have been on the rise. Personally, I'm not a big fan of dry ice-style meat shops. Sagaya, located in a commercial building in Ginza 1-chome, offers the opportunity to enjoy Saga beef, with a focus on lean meat rather than marbled cuts in their courses. As soon as you enter, you'll see a counter lit up by cherry blossom trees. The wine cellar covering one wall is impressive, but you might wonder if the quality of the wine will suffer. The menu features items like meatball sushi, tartare steak, lean meat cutlet, sukiyaki, and lean steak - a meat lover's paradise! Despite the sukiyaki being marbled, the rest of the dishes were lean, so we didn't feel too heavy after finishing everything. The lean steak, cooked slowly over charcoal, had a perfect sear and was beautifully juicy with every bite. Satisfyingly, considering the variety and quality, the price of 11,000 yen is quite reasonable.

★Previous Summary★ After arranging to meet up with an old friend G at Sagaya Ginza, a high-end restaurant serving Saga beef, the narrator arrived early and was graciously allowed to wait in the reserved private room. When G and another woman arrived, they started with champagne and then enjoyed a luxurious course meal featuring various delicacies and dishes made with Saga beef. The steak was tender and delicious, and other unique dishes like beef and shrimp tartare and Saga beef sukiyaki impressed as well. The wine selection was diverse, with even the lower-priced options being of high quality. The restaurant did not serve coffee after the meal, but the refreshing Saga tea served as a great substitute. Overall, the experience was described as luxurious, delicate, and satisfying.

I heard about TeamLab Imai and decided to check it out. It seems that there are usually a lot of reservations from foreigners, but it was not busy during this time of year. The closing time is 8pm, which seems tough... The course was around 30,000 yen (*´∀`). The visuals were really beautiful, giving off a sense of next-generation dining. It felt more like an attraction than a meal ( ´艸`). However, it seems like a lot of the cost goes towards the visuals in the course. This aspect might lead to mixed opinions as people might have different priorities. Thank you for the meal (*´∀`).

Puzzle Ginza is a restaurant located on the 6th floor of a building in Ginza 1-chome. This building also houses other delicious restaurants like "Ginza Tenryu". They offer a course menu featuring Saga beef charcoal-grilled steak and Ojyu for 8000 yen. The course includes various dishes such as Saga beef Matsukaze, Saga beef Temarizushi, and Saga beef and Kombu rolled in Nanohana. The steak is slowly grilled over charcoal and served as the main dish. The meal also includes a luxurious bara chirashi bowl with Saga beef and sea urchin. The Saga beef sirloin and bara chirashi were delicious! It was a luxurious lunch experience!! Instagram ID: kuidaore.8 https://www.instagram.com/kuidaore.8/

Sagaya is located in the prestigious area of Ginza. They serve top-quality beef known as Saga beef, which is produced by Saga group farmers and meets the highest meat quality standards set by the Japan Meat Grading Association. The beef is aged for over three weeks to enhance its flavor, and it is served tender and full of rich flavor. In addition to their focus on beef, they also prioritize ingredients from Saga prefecture and use Arita porcelain, a traditional craft from Saga, for serving dishes. The meat is tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection to bring out the best of Saga beef. They also offer a unique dining experience with a collaboration with the art group "teamLab" for projection mapping while you enjoy your meal. It's an experience worth trying!

This is my second visit to Sagara, a restaurant located in Ginza Ichome. Last time I had the white truffle in autumn, but this time I tried their course menu. The dishes were all delicious, especially the Saga beef dishes which were the highlight. The meat appetizer tartare was amazing, and the sirloin sukiyaki-style with black truffle was also very tasty. However, the steak, which was fillet this time, seemed a bit different from last year. It had a charcoal aroma but was slightly tough and had a different smell. The noodles had a good texture and the soup was delicious. The dessert was also good. The water-drawn Hizen tea was a pleasant surprise, with a rich and deep flavor like dashi. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience. Saga beef is always delicious and I would definitely like to visit again.

It would not be an exaggeration to say that I went specifically to eat the yakiniku-style shabu-shabu with grated daikon and dashi ponzu sauce, a hidden menu item. It is refreshing and you can taste the deliciousness of Saga beef. Furthermore, the sukiyaki-style dish has improved from before; dipping it in a sauce made with truffle and sukiyaki sauce, then eating it with rice, results in pure happiness.

It was very delicious. The Saga beef had just the right amount of marbling. The sukiyaki-style way of eating was very tasty. The truffle and egg yolk sauce was amazing. Each dish was delicious, but in terms of cost performance, it was not great... However, maybe it's because it's Saga beef. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also nice, making it suitable for dates or business entertainment, don't you think?

I wanted to eat Saga beef sukiyaki-style with truffle again, so I revisited this restaurant. Each dish brings out the flavor of the ingredients. The dishes made me want to visit Saga. The wine pairings were excellent, with French, Italian wines, aged sake, sake, and dessert wine all matching the dishes perfectly. This is the place to go if you want to enjoy delicious meat in a sophisticated way. Saga beef hanamaki burger, clam and cherry blossom tai marinated in Ureshino tea, Saga beef roast beef, Saga beef rib roast sukiyaki with truffle, Saga beef lamp steak, Saga beef cold shabu with walnut sauce noodles, and Hinata Natsu's dessert.

I ordered several restaurant vouchers for enjoying local cuisine from various regions at restaurants in Tokyo through the hometown tax payment system this time, and the best one was SAGAYA. I have attached the menu in the photos. I also added wine pairing to the meal. Everything was delicious! The service was great too, as they always paid attention to the speed at which we were eating and provided the next dish at the perfect timing. Truly top-notch service in Ginza!

Forget the year-end party with friends who love meat and want to eat delicious meat, Sagaya, a Saga beef restaurant, is the perfect place to go! Located just a short walk from Ginza-itchome Station, the restaurant sources seasonal ingredients directly from the producers and uses preservation methods tailored to each cut of meat to bring out the flavor of Saga beef. The variety of wines available, including wines from around the world and Saga's local sake, selected by a sommelier to complement the dishes, allows for a delightful wine pairing experience. What impressed me was not only the food but also the restaurant's emphasis on Japanese culture and traditional crafts, allowing guests to enjoy seasonal ingredients on Arita porcelain dishes, which was truly wonderful. The restaurant offers private rooms and counter seating, making it perfect for a relaxing dining experience. We opted for the "Saga Beef Chef's Selection Course" on this occasion, and it was truly a feast for the senses. Each dish was a delight, from the amuse-bouche to the dessert, with the chef's selection of Saga beef cuts cooked to perfection. The steak was tender and flavorful, and the white truffle sukiyaki-style dish was a standout. The meal ended with a delicious rice dish and a seasonal dessert, accompanied by a refreshing cup of Saga Ureshino tea. Overall, the attention to detail, hospitality, and exquisite flavors made it a memorable dining experience. I would definitely love to visit again for a date night, anniversary celebration, or a girls' night out. Highly recommended!

【Ginza】A shop where you can enjoy Saga beef in beautiful dishes【sagaya】 I was looking for a place to have a nice meal with my friends for a year-end party. My friends found a place called "Saga beef restaurant SAGAYA Ginza" where you can enjoy Saga beef and seasonal dishes with wine. It is located on the 6th floor of PUZZLE Ginza in Ginza Ichome. When you get off the elevator, you will see a wine cellar lined up. The interior of the restaurant is elegant and chic. We chose the 10,000 yen course. First, you choose the main meat. On this day, we could choose from Chateaubriand, sirloin, and fillet. Then the course started. - Champagne - Amuse-bouche (3 items) - Saga beef and black pork rillette eclair - Amberjack marinated - Saga beef stew The amberjack had a beautiful color and thick flesh, and the richness of the fat was amazing. - Appetizer: Saga beef and shrimp tartare The presentation was different from what we expected, pleasantly surprising us. It was luxurious with homemade karasumi (bottarga). - Meat dish: Chef's selection Saga beef yakiniku We could enjoy three types of Saga beef yakiniku - camenoko, tongue slices, and tongue base. It was delightful to have yakiniku. We ate it with salad and grated daikon. - Meat dish: Saga beef sirloin sukiyaki style This is a must-try. A dish where you can truly taste Saga beef. The marbled sirloin sukiyaki style is topped generously with truffles. The combination of truffle aroma and sukiyaki is unbeatable. - Noodles: Saga beef and black cabbage, red miso ragout homemade noodles Noodles with pakchi. It was like an ethnic dish. The texture of the noodles was excellent. - Steak: Saga beef steak Since they had Chateaubriand, we had to choose it. The top-notch Chateaubriand! The umami flavor of the meat spreads throughout the mouth as you chew. Bliss. We also had wine pairing. - Rice dish: Cod and shirako, lotus root cooked rice The shirako was large! The contrast in texture with the crispy lotus root was enjoyable. A seasonal cooked rice dish. It was delicious with a rich dashi flavor. - Dessert: Seasonal dessert by the patissier Apple compote and Earl Grey ice cream paired well! - Tea: Saga Ureshino tea, cold-brewed tea, and Gyokuro tea We ended the course with tea. It is slowly brewed over several hours. The refreshing astringency becomes addictive as you drink it, leaving a clean feeling in your mouth. The tea is made from raw tea leaves produced in Saga Prefecture (or Nagasaki Prefecture) and processed into "Ureshi no tea (Ureshino tea)". I would definitely recommend this restaurant to gourmet enthusiasts. I wonder if the course contents change with the seasons. I would love to visit again. Highly recommended for entertaining, dates, and special occasions. It was a wonderful year-end party. Address: 6F PUZZLE Ginza, 2-5-19 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo Business hours: 17:30-23:00 (Last entry 21:00) Closed: Irregularly

【Sagaya Ginza, specializing in Saga beef】 is a brand beef "Saga beef" specialty store with only two stores in Ginza! This day was a year-end party with friends♪ I was taken to a wonderful restaurant fitting for the end of 2019. We had the "Saga beef Sagaya Course" this time.《Amuse-bouche》Saga beef and black pork rillettes in eclair style, marinated amberjack, Saga beef stew, all beautifully presented and visually appealing dishes. The amberjack is sliced for easy eating with chopsticks.《Appetizer》Saga beef and Botan shrimp tartare with plump shrimp and flavorful Saga beef. Homemade karasumi is also served.《Meat dish》Chef's selected Saga beef cooked on a roaster, with 3 types of beef cooked right in front of us. The plates are beautiful, using Arita ware. The Kamonoko, quickly grilled, is served with grated daikon radish and sansho pepper. The two types of marinated tongue, aged for a month, are served with marinated vegetables.《Meat dish》Saga beef sirloin sukiyaki-style, carefully cooked individually. Despite the marbling, it's not greasy and you can eat as much as you want! And to top it off, they shaved truffles until the meat was almost hidden. Such a luxurious sukiyaki experience!《Noodles》Homemade noodles with Saga beef, black cabbage, and red miso ragout. It's amazing to have such delicious noodles at a meat specialty restaurant! The firm, smooth noodles were just right for me.《Steak》Saga beef Chateaubriand steak, incredibly tender and moist despite not having a lot of fat! After enjoying Saga beef in various ways, simple might be the best for good meat!《Rice dish》Cod and shirako (cod milt) with lotus root cooked rice, a gentle and heartwarming harmony of each ingredient.《Dessert》Seasonal dessert by the patissier, with apple hidden underneath, complementing the tea-flavored ice cream, a thoroughly satisfying course until the end!《Tea》Saga Ureshino tea cold brewed.
