They are soft and moist, with a focus on flavor rather than sourness. They might be a bit smaller now, but they are still delicious and easy to share with others. I enjoyed them all by myself today.

I love Nenrinya's Baumkuchen. I always look forward to both the standard Baumkuchen and the limited-time flavors. Among the limited edition products, I highly recommend the matcha flavor that is released this time of year! The matcha flavor is just top quality and rich. I love matcha sweets, so even though I see them at various shops, the matcha Baumkuchen from Nenrinya is my favorite. The fact that they are individually packaged makes it convenient to buy as a treat for myself.

There is a store called "Nenrin-ya" in Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store. I couldn't decide between the Straight Baum or the Soft Sprout Baum and the Mount Baum Firm Sprout, but I ended up choosing the Mount Baum Firm Sprout because it seemed to have a nice texture. It had a perfect balance of sugar coating on the outside, not too moist, and a satisfying taste when eaten! Mount Baum Firm Sprout ¥1,728

- Cut Baum: The caramel is soft and the surface is crispy, overall delicious but I don't like the scent, it feels like artificial fragrance. - Cut Baum: The crispy texture of the matcha icing is good but the smell of margarine is the first thing that comes to mind, not a big fan. - The icing on this one is delicious too! I don't like the scent but this might be the best one. It's a bit dry and on the verge of being crumbly. It feels like something you would buy as a souvenir. I read about it in an article and had high expectations, but it still feels like a souvenir. I prefer traditional ingredients and methods, like the natural flavor of Yuheim's Baumkuchen.

I purchased it for the first time in a while, and it had a stable deliciousness with a good flavor and a good mouthfeel. I think the Mount Baum "Sakura no Kuni" successfully incorporates the traditional sakura leaf flavor into the Baumkuchen. In addition to the one-bite size I bought this time, there are also standard Mount Baum "Shikkari Me" (248 yen) and Mound Baum "Matcha" (280 yen), so you can easily combine various types for yourself or as a casual gift. I actually wanted to buy the "Mount Baum Brownie Chocolate" but unfortunately, the sales period had ended a little bit... So, this review will be for the Straight Baum Chocolate & Cocoa. It is a Baumkuchen with cocoa kneaded into the dough and coated with chocolate. The chocolate is crispy and the dough is moist and soft with an elegant texture. The taste is good, with a restrained sweetness and an elegant flavor, but I felt like I wanted more chocolate flavor. It is really delicious, but when compared to the "Straight Baum Chocolate & Cocoa," it felt a bit lacking. Actually, the Mount Baum Brownie Chocolate is just too delicious! My favorite chocolate Baumkuchen is the Mount Baum Brownie Chocolate, followed by the freshly baked Chocolate Baumkuchen from Yokaichi no Sha. I think Nenrin-ya might be reading this review, so if possible, could you extend the sales period of Mount Baum Brownie Chocolate until White Day, or at least until the end of February... The staff at the store were very polite and kind. When I got home, my family and I enjoyed it right away. The firm baumkuchen had a great chewy texture and was really delicious! The rich buttery aroma was delightful. It was easy to eat with a firm yet moist texture, and I thought it was truly delicious. I would like to go buy more again(^O^)
