I have used this place several times, but this time I will provide an objective evaluation. When it comes to sushi restaurants in Fuchu, I personally don't have a clear image, but after reading some reviews, I decided to try out this place called "Ichiryoku." The exterior of the restaurant gives off a very clean and elegant vibe, with no conveyor belt for sushi. As you enter, there are a few table seats and a counter and raised seating area at the back. It may be a bit challenging for large groups to dine here, so it's more suitable for solo diners or small groups. The atmosphere is not bad, but not outstanding either. In terms of food, they mainly serve sake, with a variety of famous brands from different regions, making it a good choice for sake lovers. The dishes, such as sashimi and grilled items, before the sushi, are quite satisfying. They offer set menus like Mats, Take, and Ume, which are easy to understand for those who don't often visit sushi restaurants. Also, individual orders are priced on the menu, so you can easily order without hesitation. Overall, the pricing is reasonable, making it a place you can dine at regularly. The head chef and the lady in charge are very friendly, so I recommend sitting at the counter and enjoying authentic Edo-style sushi, especially for beginners at non-conveyor belt sushi restaurants. One thing to note is that this place allows smoking, which may make non-smokers uncomfortable (although I am a smoker myself). In my experience, non-conveyor belt sushi restaurants tend to be non-smoking. I have been reprimanded by other customers for smoking in a place that allows it before. While I understand that smoke can ruin the experience, sushi is originally a food for the common people, so I hope people won't be too strict about it. Apologies for the long message. Thank you.
