Located in front of the ticket gate at Kita-Akabane Station on the Saikyo Line, this place always seems bustling due to its proximity to the station. The staff are energetic and create a lively atmosphere. During busy times, there may be a slight wait for the yakitori, but overall the service is speedy. The yakitori is consistently delicious. Despite a slight price increase, everything is priced at a flat rate of 328 yen (including tax), which is a great deal, especially considering you can even get kama-meshi at this price. The absence of appetizers is also much appreciated. Recently, they have been expanding their menu to include fish dishes, and the shrimp skewers are crispy and enjoyable, with the heads still intact. A dark horse on the menu is the pork belly skewer, which is possibly the only pork option available at Toriki. It has a strong presence and is quite enjoyable. The only downside is the lackluster desserts. I try the new desserts whenever they are introduced, but they always seem to fall short. It would be great if they brought back the frozen strawberry dessert that they used to have. Overall, I think this is a restaurant that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and genders.

Yakitori!! The grilling is done just right! You can tell it's not microwaved. Unfortunately, there are hardly any menu options available at 9 pm on a Sunday. The lemon sour is delicious!

I visited Torikizoku for the first time in about a year. The basic menu seems to have slightly decreased in size. New menu items have been gradually added. The manager was friendly and had a pleasant smile.

At the North Akabane Station on the Saikyo Line, there is a shop called "Torikizoku Kitashinagawa Store" immediately to the left after exiting the Akabane exit gate. I discovered this shop on weekends and holidays, which opens at 12:00 p.m. This time, due to the state of emergency, alcohol was not available, so I decided to get takeout. The takeout menu includes various yakitori skewers with two pieces each and individual chicken dishes. The yakitori skewers cannot be combined into a set, as I inquired. The prices were all inclusive of tax at 321 yen each. I purchased the following items that day: - Momokizoku Yaki (salt) - Tsukune Tare - Seseri - Sankaku (bonjiri) - Yagen nankotsu - Chicken skin chips. After payment, I waited for about 25 minutes (+_+) and managed to pass the time nearby before returning to pick up my order. When I got home, I enjoyed the yakitori right away. With 10 skewers in total, it was a sufficient amount for one person. I was able to savor various parts of the chicken and enjoyed it with some beer. Occasionally, having takeout yakitori from an izakaya for home drinking is also a nice treat. Thank you for the delicious meal.
