After having lunch in Jiyugaoka the other day, I took a leisurely stroll and came across a French restaurant near the Tokyu Toyoko Line tracks. I was surprised to find a French restaurant in this area, but upon researching, I found out that they have received consecutive Bib Gourmand awards and the chef has an impressive background. I decided to give it a try.
When I arrived at the restaurant, I was amazed to see the chef running the place all by himself - cooking, serving wine, explaining dishes, and handling payments. It was quite impressive. The chef at Rouge Jus is currently the head chef at Le Saint (formerly 3 stars, now 2 stars), and used to work at Le Doyen (3 stars) when Christian Le Squer was there. The chef sources high-quality ingredients from various places and is dedicated to preparing and serving delicious dishes.
Overall, I thought the menu was uniquely fantastic and the chef's passion for creating tasty dishes was evident throughout the meal.

My friend made a reservation at a stylish restaurant in Jiyugaoka. All the dishes were delicious. I especially loved the shrimp fry with rich sauce. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing.

Hidden on the third floor of a quiet neighborhood lined with old buildings in Jiyugaoka, stands a discreet hideaway. The name of the restaurant ends with 1111, taken from the address 1-1-11 Jiyugaoka. It is a small establishment with just two staff members - the chef and a waitress. I made a reservation for the chef's recommended dinner course. The variety of wines is impressive, and the staff are happy to answer any questions with great detail, even going as far as explaining the origins and farmers involved. The quality and quantity exceeded my expectations, living up to the reputation of being one of the recommended French restaurants in Jiyugaoka, alongside those recognized by the Bib Gourmand. I look forward to dining here again in the future.

My boyfriend celebrated my birthday with me. The food was delicious, and it was surprisingly high-quality for a restaurant in this mixed-use building. The place had a hidden gem-like deliciousness. The fact that the owner managed everything alone made it a bit difficult to order, but the food was definitely a 3.4 out of 5.

No.1 shop in Jiyugaoka!! I'm not good at writing, so I don't usually write reviews, but I was so surprised by how delicious it was that I had to post about it. When my husband and I celebrated our birthdays here before, everything was so delicious that it was even better than any high-end restaurant. I have such happy memories, so we decided to come back for Christmas. We had such high expectations after our last visit, but the food this time exceeded them by far! Every bite was so delicious that I couldn't help but applaud and laugh. The staff was also friendly and you could really feel their passion for running the place. It's a wonderful shop where you'll want to go just to see the staff. I really don't want to tell anyone about it! I think it's the No.1 shop in Jiyugaoka that makes you feel that way!

The other day, I went to my favorite French restaurant. I often go there with my family, and we can enjoy delicious food made by the kind owner. Everything was delicious, and the drinks were great too. It was a fun time with my family of four. I would like to come back for birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions! This is one of my favorite restaurants!

I was impressed that there was only one chef handling everything. The first glass of champagne was okay, nothing special for me personally, but all the dishes in the omakase course were delicious. It was recommended that white wine would go well with the courses, so I ordered a bottle of white wine and then a glass of red wine was served with the meat dish at the end. It was a very satisfying dinner. I love wine, so I was happy to be able to drink a 2010 Meursault white wine (Domaine des Comtes Lafon) that had aged for 12 years. I would definitely like to visit again. It was a wonderful restaurant.

Yesterday, we had a birthday celebration for my sister with my family at a French restaurant in Jiyugaoka that we have been to many times. The restaurant is excellent in terms of portion size, quality, and atmosphere. The service from the staff is also outstanding, and the manager is very cool! The food is delicious, with a focus on fish dishes. In the past, there were more meat options. The manager's recommended course is the best! This French restaurant is like a hidden gem and it can be difficult to make a reservation. However, it is definitely worth making a reservation! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

A masterpiece that combines the ingredients of vegetables with a cooking method that brings out their flavors, prepared with care and attention to detail. The inspiration for the dish comes from the carefully selected ingredients, allowing them to shine. The dish offers a satisfying texture, sometimes creamy, with hints of acidity and sweetness. The first bite will leave you speechless, while the last bite will leave a lingering aftertaste. A restaurant that I would love to visit again when the seasons change.

A hidden gem French restaurant. Located on the 3rd floor with no elevator, so not many walk-in customers. The young owner is full of energy, creativity, and reliable. They use organic vegetables as a base, along with locally sourced seafood and meat. The ingredients are top-notch and the seasoning is just right, offering straightforward and honest flavors. The young owner's personality shines through, showcasing their passion for quality ingredients. We enjoyed the 8-course meal and left fully satisfied.

Bib Gourmand offers polite and delicate French cuisine that takes a little time to be served, but the dessert was delicious, so I am satisfied!! The wine was also delicious.

It is a very delicious French restaurant. I made a reservation and visited. By chance, the chef was cooking and serving all alone. The dishes were playful French cuisine and I had a very enjoyable and delicious time. The only downside is that it took quite a long time because everything was handled by one person. If you are short on time, it might be better to avoid it. However, the service is polite and you can really feel the intention to entertain at this restaurant, so I would like to take my time and revisit next time.

I found a hidden gem in Jiyugaoka!! It seems to be run by just one person, so the interior is not very spacious but has a calm and cozy atmosphere that I really like.

I had dinner at Le Jujus. It is located on the 3rd floor of a mixed-use building right under the elevated railway near Jiyugaoka Station. The interior of the restaurant is a calm and sophisticated space, with a few table seats and a counter. The spacing between tables is narrow but separated by thin lace curtains, allowing for a more private dining experience. We ordered the 4,950 yen course which included 5 chef's choice dishes, dessert, and coffee. The concept of the restaurant is "what you eat becomes you", focusing on using organically grown and environmentally conscious ingredients. We started with an organic sparkling white grape drink, followed by dishes like shrimp in kataifi with orange and mayonnaise foam, and uni and onsen egg royale. The meal continued with vichyssoise, fish dish, herb granita palate cleanser, and meat dish. We also received a surprise cake for celebration, which was a rich and smooth chocolate cake. The chef handles everything alone, so the service may be a bit slow, but perfect for those who want to enjoy a leisurely meal. The atmosphere is quiet and suitable for gatherings like girls' night out or celebrations. I will definitely visit again.
