I stopped by the Matsuya Ginza store's B1 floor because I heard that you can buy chocolates from Bulgari there. They had chocolates shaped like the bezel of a watch with the Bulgari logo. The chocolates were displayed at the counter, but there was no seating area for eating in. The Bulgari logo chocolate was priced at 1150 yen per piece, and I couldn't resist buying one after making eye contact with the staff. I also bought some pistachio chocolates coated with chocolate. Although there were many pieces in the package, it still felt expensive. I was worried that if I gave them as souvenirs, they might be perceived as too pricey. In reality, I also thought they would be around 500 yen.

I had high expectations. This cake costs around 9000 yen. Hmm, I usually love the chocolate from here, but is this cake really worth the price? I regret getting my hopes up.

The shopper was surprised, like when buying jewelry, by the luxury of the packaging for the chocolates they purchased. They bought two types for a total of around 3400 yen. They enjoyed them feeling luxurious and think they would make a great gift. They noted to eat them slowly so they don't expire.

I think I bought high-quality tiramisu, high-quality chocolate, and high-quality jewelry because the packaging is so luxurious that it makes me wonder. Each piece is so precious that it feels luxurious, and I think it can be eaten carefully. It's like a ring and very cute, so I recommend it to those who like BVLGARI.笑笑

Ginza Matsuya's basement is home to a chocolate specialty store created by the world-famous Bulgari. The chocolates, priced at around 1500 yen per piece, are lined up neatly. I was looking for a gift for someone who has been very helpful, and decided to purchase a set of 10 chocolates for 11,000 yen. The atmosphere of the store and the staff were truly luxurious. The chocolates come in an open box without any tape, so be careful when carrying them around. The expiration date of the chocolates is about 2 weeks.

Recommended sweets for White Day. The concept is "returning obligation chocolate as an adult in the workforce." A reminder for choosing a tasteful option within limited time and budget. Ratings: ◎ Excellent, ○ Good, △ Average, × Below average. The purchased item is a single Chocolate Gem for 1,500 yen. (Price) × At 1,500 yen per piece, it may not be suitable for returning obligation chocolate, unless the relationship is casual enough to give it as a joke. (Appearance) ◎ Even a single piece looks impressive in a ring case-like package. However, it may not be well-received as a return gift for obligation chocolate, so choose the recipient carefully. (Taste) △ While it's delicious, I couldn't discern the difference at the price of 1,500 yen. (Individual packaging) × It's not practical to buy this in large quantities for distribution. (Brand) ○ While Bulgari has a high brand value, it ranks second as a chocolate brand. (Overall) A chocolate to be chosen based on one's position and the recipient. Even as a return gift for a girlfriend, it may not be appreciated by everyone. However, it could be well-received by senior executives who can humorously give it to their subordinates. Not a chocolate for personal consumption, but it surely sparks conversations.

Near the entrance of the 1st floor of Matsuya Ginza, similar to Il Cioccolato on the 10th floor of Bulgari Ginza Tower, is a sophisticated space adorned with glass mosaics crafted by Venetian glass artisans. My wife suddenly bought BVLGARI chocolates, which boast over 130 years of history, even though it's not Valentine's Day! It seems they cost 1500 yen each, so she got two for 3000 yen. Thank you very much! She mentioned seeing them on TV recently and decided to try them out. She's considering getting them as souvenirs for guests coming from Southeast Asia soon. Well, that's beside the point. I tried one, and indeed, the "BVLGARI" engraving makes it feel like a gem, maybe worth the 1500 yen for fans... According to the TV, if the "BVLGARI" inscription is even slightly flawed, the chocolates are rejected during inspection. Personally, I thought, "It's fine even if it's not perfect," but they do taste delicious. However, they are definitely more suited for gifts or souvenirs. The recipient will surely be delighted. At 1500 yen per piece, I am truly grateful! Thank you for the treat!

I went to Tokyo to ride a houseboat. First, I had delicious meat and wine at Kakiyasu, and then I visited there. The cocktails were very cute and delicious. It seems like it would be Instagram-worthy. It was a very valuable experience as it is not available in Nagoya. I bought chocolates as souvenirs. Three pieces for three thousand yen, but they were delicious, just like Bulgari.

Delicious but nothing particularly outstanding. The outer chocolate layer has a clean taste, while the ganache filling lacks impact. The packaging is luxurious and suitable for gifting.

I received chocolates for the year 2020. Despite being over 4000 yen for just 4 pieces, they have an elegant taste. The order in which to eat the chocolates is even considered based on their flavors. I wonder what I should give in return...

I received Bulgari for Valentine's Day~♪ It's Bulgari's Classic Collection "Chocolate Gems". Inside the Bulgari box are 3 jewel-like chocolates. In the center, there's a disc-shaped chocolate that looks very Bulgari-like. It's a shame, but I'll eat it anyway♪ The bitter chocolate outer layer is crispy, and inside is a soft chocolate ganache. It has an elegant balsamic and fig aroma. The square-shaped, light-colored milk chocolate contains white chocolate ganache with Gorgonzola cheese and orange peel. The dark-colored bitter chocolate is adorned with purple spherical almonds and silver glitter powder. It has a lavender scent. It makes you feel like you're in an Italian mood. Wait, does this mean Bulgari for White Day too?

I received Valentine's Day limited edition chocolates from my wife, "San Valentino 2017 'Lui e Lei'". The elegant silver packaging, reminiscent of a ring case, exudes a sense of luxury and excitement when opening it. Inside, each chocolate was delicately placed, featuring a simple oval shape with the iconic "Serpenti" head from Bulgari. The "Lui" chocolate is white, while the "Lei" chocolate is orange, symbolizing "him and her". Since my wife is pregnant, I ended up enjoying both chocolates myself.
Starting with the "Lui" chocolate, it is coated with bitter chocolate and filled with bergamot peel and gianduja ganache. The bergamot aroma is delightful, followed by the rich flavor of the ganache with a smooth melt-in-your-mouth texture. Surprisingly, the chocolate is not overly sweet and has a great aftertaste. Moving on to the "Lei" chocolate, it is coated with bitter chocolate and filled with sambuca flower and Sicilian pistachio ganache. The sambuca flower gives a refreshing mint-like flavor, complemented by the subtle sweetness and excellent aftertaste. Each piece is satisfyingly flavorful, making the ¥3,801 (tax included) price tag worth it.
I have used Bulgari chocolates as wedding favors before, so trying them for personal enjoyment was a special experience. Despite being a bit pricey, these chocolates are perfect for special occasions.

This time, I visited the chocolate specialty store "BVLGARI Il Cioccolato Matsuya Ginza Store" located in the department store basement of Matsuya Ginza, which is famous for its clothing and jewelry brands. I bought some chocolates as a birthday present for a friend and for "reverse Valentine's Day." Despite the fact that many chocolate stores were crowded due to Valentine's Day approaching, this store had fewer customers, so I was able to make a quick purchase. However, I was surprised when the woman in front of me bought 10 boxes of chocolates, each costing thousands of yen (almost 10,000 yen). I purchased the "Chocolat James" series, which are chocolates made with unique Italian ingredients and handcrafted by a dedicated chocolatier at the chocolate workshop inside the nearby BVLGARI Tower. These chocolates combine high-quality ingredients such as Gorgonzola cheese with orange peel, dried figs, and balsamic vinegar. Even though chocolates are usually considered expensive at around 500 yen per piece, these ones cost over 1,000 yen each. My friend was very happy with the gift. As we grow older, knowing about places like this can change our perspective and expand our world. In this day and age, it's easy to gain knowledge through the internet, but experiencing such things in person is truly special. If you're curious, why not stop by and check it out?

I found out about the Bulgari Cafe and sweets at the Omotesando store around 2008. I sometimes buy them. I used to buy a pair of almond and pistachio, but pistachio has been gone for about half a year now. So today, I got almond and orange peel. The panettone is not just for Christmas, it was still available. The almond is surprisingly light and fragrant, with cocoa powder beautifully sprinkled on top. The orange peel is rich in orange flavor and elegant. Both have a strong aura when you put them in your mouth. They are not to be taken lightly, very strong! I also like chocolate, but I find the plastic case items convenient because you can eat a little at a time when you want.

I always struggle to decide which Christmas cake to buy for my family of four. This time, I made a reservation for the recommended Bulgari cake from Matsuya. Before pick-up, something unexpected happened at the restaurant, but Matsuya called me to explain before it was reported. They offered to cancel the reservation, but I decided to keep it. The cake seemed a bit small, but it was very elegant and delicious with only chocolate and mousse, without sponge. It had a rich flavor without being too heavy.

On February 14th, I received a Valentine's Day chocolate from a colleague at work. It was BVLGARI, a high-end brand. It was the first time I had seen BVLGARI chocolates. The packaging was very stylish, and the chocolate itself was rich but not too sweet, making it easy for men to enjoy. I felt like it was almost too nice to eat. Overall, it was delicious and I enjoyed it.
