I attended a party with over 100 people at Mitsui Club in Tsunamachi, about an 8-minute walk from Azabu-Juban Station on a weekday at 7pm. The Mitsui Club is a classy building with a sophisticated interior that was bright and wonderful. There was a cloakroom available as well. It was a standing party with a buffet-style meal that included a variety of dishes from appetizers to soup, meat dishes, curry, and dessert, all of which were of high quality and delicious. There was also a wide selection of drinks including beer, white wine, red wine, highballs, and soft drinks, so the variety was quite substantial. The participation fee was 20,000 yen per person. Mitsui Club in Tsunamachi offers a bright and high-quality space where you can enjoy delicious food and drinks, making it highly recommended!

Today I attended a luncheon meeting at the Tsunamachi Mitsui Club. It had a different atmosphere compared to the Mitsubishi Kaikodo, perhaps due to the fact that this one was built as a guesthouse while the other was a villa for the Iwasaki family. The event was related to the Japan-UK Association, and the cuisine served was classic French. The meal included a buttery seafood and cauliflower cream appetizer, pan-fried flounder for the main course, and beef stew as the main dish. In hotel settings for large seated parties with older guests, the typical menu usually includes flounder or sole meuniere, and various beef dishes like red wine-braised beef cheeks or fillet steak. These are safe choices for elderly guests who may not like surprises. The food was delicious, although not particularly memorable. The highlight was definitely the building itself. I would love to see the extensive wine menu they offer. Thank you for the meal!

It is a membership-based establishment, but there are various ways to access it through referrals. The building, constructed in the Taisho era by Josiah Conder, is truly magnificent. Dinner courses start at ¥12,000. The cuisine is delicate and delicious, and the staff service is top-notch. However, when using the main building designed by Josiah Conder, there is a private room fee starting at ¥20,000 for 4 people. The modern annex restaurant does not require a private room fee and you can simply pay for the meal.

I enjoyed the atmosphere and garden of Gontown Mitsui Club's building, and had a meal with wine. Everything was really delicious. The meat was tender, the soup was flavorful, and I have never been so satisfied with a course meal before. Thank you for the feast.

Thanks to a connection in the Mitsui Group, I passed through the gates for the first time. Located near Mita's Sakuradadori (Route 1), heading west on Tsuna no Hikizaka after passing Keio University on the left, you'll find it once you've finished climbing. If you continue straight, you'll reach Azabu-Juban. According to Wikipedia, Tsunamachi is related to Tsuna no Hikizaka, which comes from a legend about the young warrior Minamoto no Tsuna, one of the four heavenly kings of the Heian period, who was guided back and forth by an old woman. Tsunamachi is said to be named after the birthplace of this Minamoto no Tsuna. In 1910, Mitsui Hachiroemon Takamune, the 10th head of the Mitsui family, who established the Mitsui Zaibatsu as its core, began construction. According to the club's website, you cannot use it without a Mitsui Group member accompanying you or introducing you. "Main building" can be used by management-level employees and former executives of member companies, or by those who are introduced by them. "Annex" can be used by employees of member companies (including non-regular employees) and former regular employees, employees of group companies (including non-regular employees), or by those who are introduced by management-level employees and former executives of member companies. I didn't have time to take photos inside the building or of the food, but I noticed that the garden was spacious with grass, and the decorations were heavy and had a seasoned feel. The wine was quite delicious, and I thought the high-priced ones were worth it. It's a wonderful space.

I visited Tsunamachi Mitsui Club for a friend's wedding. It is a well-known traditional wedding venue. The food was delicious! I always had the impression that wedding food is difficult to get right because of the multiple dishes served simultaneously and the timing issues, but the food at Tsunamachi Mitsui Club was amazing. The steak, poêlé, bisque, and other dishes were all delicious and well-prepared. The desserts were served buffet-style and even though I'm not a big fan of sweets, they were really good. The venue's interior and garden were also beautiful, creating a special atmosphere for the wedding day. #Akabanebashi #Mita #Tsunamachi #TsunamachiMitsuiClub #MitsuiClub #weddingvenue #gourmet #foodie #foodstagram #weddingday

After the Bon Festival, I was invited to have lunch at the Mitsui Club in Tsunamachi, which I hadn't been to in 10 years. It was a grand sight to see the mansion on the vast 10,000-tsubo grounds, designed by Josiah Conder, who also designed the Rokumeikan. The estate has both a Japanese garden and a Western garden, and you can even feed the plump koi in the Japanese garden. This time, we had the weekday-only lunch course for 8,800 yen at the annex open to the public. The dishes we had included Scallop Carpaccio, Summer Vegetable Gazpacho with Consommé Jelly, Sauteed Sea Bass with Bulgur and Coconut Sauce, Japanese Beef Steak with Mustard Sauce, Peach and Black Tea Dessert with Vanilla Ice Cream, and Coffee with Champagne and Saint-Emilion Red Wine. It was a typical classical French meal that you might have at a hotel, with each dish beautifully and delicately prepared. The best part was enjoying the meal while looking out at the garden, feeling like Reiko Shiratori (from the drama "Shiratori Reiko"). We had a luxurious time. After eating, we explored the mansion and strolled through the garden. We were fortunate to be shown the impressive wine cellar, rumored to be the best in Japan. Just seeing the 5 major Chateaux and even Romanee-Conti was satisfying. We also fed the koi in the Japanese garden. It was a wonderful summer memory. My Instagram account, which focuses on food adventures in the Ginza area, has over 28,000 followers! Instagram: lunchkirakira (Ginza Lunch) https://www.instagram.com/lunchkirakira/?hl=en

During the Taisho era, the Mitsui Zaibatsu left behind the Tsunamachi Mitsui Club. This is a shop that only a limited number of people from the Mitsui Group can use. The atmosphere is amazing, with a historical feel in both the garden and the building. The wine cellar is particularly impressive, with Romane from before DRC bought it, making it a sight to see. The food was also excellent, especially the fish dishes, which were incredibly delicious.

Member-only club. Tsunamachi Mitsui Club. I had the opportunity to use this restaurant by chance. It offers traditional classical French cuisine and original label wines with a focus on quality. I had a delicious time where I could feel the marriage of flavors. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

The Tsunamachi Mitsui Club is a members-only club of the Mitsui Group, with the main building designed by Josiah Conder, who also designed the Rokumeikan, in a Renaissance-style palace. The garden features both Western and Japanese gardens, with fountains and ponds arranged in a maze-like layout, covering an unbelievable 10,000 tsubo of land in the prime location of Minato-ku. The review includes dishes like Bisque soup with rich shrimp flavor, Louis Casters Selection Brut Champagne, sautéed scallops and small squid in Provencal butter sauce, Bourgogne Haute Cote de Nuits 2018 wine, low-temperature cooked pork belly with light smoke, beef stew Parmentier, Ch. Jacques Noir 2016 wine, and a seasonal dessert.

Mitsui Group's exclusive Mitsui Club in Tsunamachi ❤️ The Tsunamachi Mitsui Club, left by the Mitsui Zaibatsu in the Taisho era. The architect is Josiah Conder, a British architect who also designed Rokumeikan and the Nikolai Cathedral. I had a satisfying meal in this historic building.

Here is the translation of the restaurant review: "I attended a company-sponsored dinner party at Mitsui Club in Tsunamachi, Mita. I took a taxi with my senior after transferring trains. I have visited Mitsui Club in Shinjuku twice before, but this was my first time at Tsunamachi. We had some time before the party, so we strolled around the garden. There was a lovely fountain and a beautiful garden. After taking some commemorative photos, we took our seats. The French full-course meal began with: - Amuse-bouche - Balsamic-flavored abalone from Ezo - Mitsui Club's special consommé soup - Grilled tilefish - Black wagyu steak - Tsunamachi-style Mont Blanc - Coffee with petit fours Drinks, including alcohol, were free-flowing. After the toast, I decided to have some white wine, which paired perfectly with the dishes. The special consommé soup was poured hot by the chef individually for each guest and it was delicious and flavorful. The fish dish was tilefish, with crispy skin and succulent scallops. The wagyu steak was tender, and the sauce was exquisite. Normally, I only have appetizers when drinking, but this time I tried all the dishes and ended up feeling full by the time dessert arrived. I ended up giving my dessert to my senior... haha. It was a wonderful experience to enjoy high-quality cuisine that I don't usually have the opportunity to eat, surrounded by great company. Thank you for the feast."

A special social venue where only top executives of the Mitsui Group can dine. Each conglomerate company has such exclusive places, but Mitsui Zaibatsu's is truly exceptional. A magnificent garden and building stand in the heart of the city. The building itself has a lot of charm, and before the meal, you can learn about the history of the building, the underground wine cellar, and the garden. It's a valuable experience just to hear stories about historical figures and behind-the-scenes stories about wines. And finally, the meal. Only French courses are served here. You can enjoy French cuisine and wine pairings in a very spacious setting. From appetizers to soup, seafood, meat, and dessert, every dish has a top-notch taste. The room itself is amazing too. The full-course meal in such an atmosphere makes the food taste even more delicious. It was a very precious experience. Thank you for the meal!

I attended a relative's wedding at the Tsunamachi Mitsui Club for the first time! The location seemed to be near Akabanebashi Station, but I'm not sure how many minutes on foot as I went by car. It is a completely membership-based venue, so only relatives working for the Mitsui group or those with referrals can have weddings there. Quite exclusive, right? The reception served a 7-8 course meal. Unfortunately, I could only capture some of the dishes due to the event's restrictions. The dishes included: - Lobster appetizer: The lobster was firm and paired well with the accompanying sauce. - Consomme jelly special soup: A creamy soup with a rich consomme flavor. - Gelato ice cream: I forgot the flavor, but it was incredibly delicious! - Mango pudding and vanilla ice cream: The mango pudding had a hint of rum, so I had to refrain from it as I came by car. The vanilla ice cream was rich and creamy. There were also roast beef and other dishes, but I couldn't capture them. The roast beef was thick and melted in the mouth, a timeless taste. It was a great opportunity to enjoy delicious food that I don't usually have. Thank you for the feast!

I visited Mitsui Club for lunch after a long time. This restaurant requires an introduction from someone affiliated with the Mitsui group to enter, and only 3 groups are allowed for lunch each day. The French cuisine is easy to eat and the portion size is small, so it may not be filling enough for men. It should be just right for women. Taking a walk in the garden after eating is very pleasant.

This year, I managed to win the fierce phone competition again and successfully secured a Christmas reservation at Mitsui Club☆ This time, the lunch on 12/23 had no age restrictions for children, even infants were allowed for a family Christmas event. The adult course was priced at ¥20,000, the children's course at ¥10,000, and the children's lunch at ¥5,000 (all inclusive of drinks, tax, and service charge). The dinner on 12/23 included a piano concert for ¥25,000, the lunch on 12/24 had a violin concert for ¥23,000, and the dinner on 12/24 had a piano concert for ¥25,000. Note that the lunch on 12/23 was the only one allowing middle school students and above. My husband had requested the lunch on the 23rd, so I made the reservation without much thought, only to be surprised when I arrived. It was filled with children, and there were only 3 couples, the rest were all families (^-^;). Although I didn't read the description properly, I found it thoughtful that the couples were given baked goods as souvenirs, as there were many families present. This kind of consideration is truly characteristic of Mitsui Club. Before the meal, I always take a stroll around the garden and inside the building, but since it's usually at night, I never got to see the autumn leaves clearly. This time, I was able to enjoy the beautiful autumn foliage. Mitsui Club's autumn leaves always seem to be at their best around Christmas time. After taking the obligatory photos in front of the Christmas tree, I sat in the waiting room and was immediately served an aperitif and canapés. The canapés are always delicious, and this time, I couldn't resist the tempura, which turned out to be warm and surprisingly good! The chewy texture and the flavor of seaweed were delightful. However, I had to be careful not to eat too much at this point (lol). -Continued-

I had my wedding at Tsunamachi Mitsui Club, thanks to a special connection. The lunch course we received was delicious. The wedding was limited to three couples per day, and having the historic mansion all to ourselves made it a very memorable experience. The French course, including drinks, was priced at 25,000 yen per person. The dishes included: - Crab and Tomato Jelly: visually stunning, resembling a dessert - Consommé Soup: very elegant in taste - Sautéed Lobster, Scallop, and Abalone: each seafood was flavorful and tender - Fillet Steak and Foie Gras: the steak was tender and paired well with red wine - Berry and Pistachio Ice Cream: both flavors were delicious, not overly sweet. Overall, the courses were light and not heavy on the stomach, making it a delightful dining experience. I can't fully capture how delicious everything was in words. I hope to revisit this place again in the future.

Traditional French cuisine. We enjoyed a leisurely walk in the garden before the meal, setting a nice mood. The dishes were not only visually beautiful but also delicious. The wine paired well with the meal and we enjoyed it elegantly. The menu was not surprising, but it was classic and authentic French cuisine.

I was taken to a members-only restaurant. When you hear about a members-only restaurant, you might think it's expensive, but looking at the website, dinner starts at 8,000 yen, so it's quite reasonable. This time, I was completely treated, so I don't know the price... The meal consisted of: - Assorted appetizers - Cold dish - Soup - Fish dish - Meat dish - Dessert I was quite nervous in this formal setting, and it was a while ago, so my memory is a bit fuzzy, but the food was delicious. More importantly, the atmosphere was luxurious, and it felt special. While dining at the latest restaurants with innovative cuisine is great, having a meal in such a setting can make the food taste delicious in itself.
