I tried to order a ginger ale and salad set drink, but it didn't go through. The service was relaxed. The omurice had plenty of egg on ketchup rice, the hamburg steak was as expected with demiglace sauce, and the shrimp fry was different from my preferred style of shrimp. The food had a Western feel, but lacked depth in my opinion.

The word "Cardinal" apparently means scarlet. I ordered the Cardinal Plate for 2400 yen and the Beef Curry for 1610 yen, with an additional 100 yen for pickles. The Cardinal Plate includes a combination of omurice, hamburger, and shrimp fry. The omurice is of the pilaf type, with a light chicken rice and a slightly loose egg. The taste is okay. The hamburger has a very delicious demi-glace sauce. It has just the right amount of saltiness, richness, and flavor, making it quite good. The hamburger itself is dense and tasty. The shrimp fry may be slightly small in size. It is well-fried and comes with tartar sauce, so it's good. The Beef Curry has a sweet taste at first, with a strong beef flavor and spiciness that comes later. It's not as good as the hamburger, but it's decently tasty. The rice is also not bad. The pickles are ordered separately, but I wonder if they could be included? The variety is good and they are quite tasty pickles. The rent at Solamachi seems high... but Western restaurants may be priced like this.

I was craving omurice, so I ordered the "Omurice with Mushroom Demi-Glace Sauce" for 1,580 yen. Overall, the taste was quite simple, and I was surprised that there were only a few mushrooms in it. The rice inside was ketchup-flavored. Maybe the price was high due to the location?

The omelette was fluffy and the hamburger had a soft texture, although it wasn't juicy. The sauce was also plentiful, but it was a bit too strong if you used all of it, so I left some behind. I was hungry so I ate quickly, but I was very satisfied and full. Thank you for the meal. Now, let's head to the Skytree! Exciting!

I ordered the Fraisier set for 750 yen and coffee for 200 yen. Fraisier is a type of shortcake made with sponge cake, custard, and buttercream. Unlike regular shortcakes, the sponge part has a taste similar to pudding, with a strong egg flavor. It paired perfectly with the refreshing sweetness and acidity of the strawberries, and I really enjoyed it. The shop was empty when I visited, so I'm not sure what it's like during regular hours, but the service and atmosphere were both good. I would like to visit again for a meal and dessert.

The taste was as expected, nothing extraordinary but no complaints either. The prices were reasonable for a tourist spot.

I visited because I wanted to eat Western food. I thought the restaurant "Ginza Grill Cardinal" would be located in Ginza, but it seems that this name is only used at Solamachi. I tried the popular No.1 dish which is an omelette, hamburger, and shrimp fry all on one plate. It also came with salad and soup for 2,100 yen! It was a satisfying meal for those in the mood for Western food.
