Arrived on Saturday at 12:10, two customers in the shop, one table inside (4 seats) and two tables outside (4 seats). The cafe is located a little off the Funabori Kaido, giving off a very chic atmosphere where time flows leisurely. It feels like part of someone's home has been turned into a cafe. It's quite a nice surprise to find such a good place here. We settled in on the terrace seats and ordered today's lunch - the roast beef bowl for me and the creamy cod roe spaghetti for my partner. The hot water and knee blankets provided in the chilly weather were a nice touch. The roast beef was delicious with a hint of garlic, and the cod roe spaghetti was smooth and chewy, really tasty. The quality is way beyond the 700 yen price level. Overall, we had a great experience at this cafe. We enjoyed our lunch on the terrace, sipped coffee, and read a book. There is a landmark along Funabori Kaido. It's a narrow road and the place is right after you enter it. Originally, the owner expanded their home to open a pottery class, but about two years ago, they started a café as well. They still hold pottery classes for beginners regularly. Their lunch menu mainly consists of pasta, but they also offer a daily special. I tried the beef stew which was the special for the day. There are outdoor tables with umbrellas in the garden and indoor seating as well. The interior has an interesting, uneven design with various pottery pieces displayed. The beef stew was traditional yet carefully made, and I enjoyed it slowly along with an iced café latte. I had a relaxing time listening to the owner's stories and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere.
