I visited Bistro flat for the first time, which is located a 3-minute walk from Tachikawa Station (South Exit). I had known about the restaurant for a while but had imagined it to be more of a wine bar with light meals. However, after reading reviews from other customers, I decided to give it a try. When my wife and I visited on a weekday evening, there were no set courses available (perhaps because it was late or maybe courses require reservations). The staff explained the restaurant's style to us in a detailed yet simple manner. They recommended ordering a few dishes to share as the portions are quite generous and it allows you to enjoy a variety of dishes. The dishes we ordered included: - Bistro flat's mixed salad (1580 yen): A delicious salad with sautéed mushrooms, block-shaped purple sweet potatoes, and incredibly sweet corn. - Pork and cream cheese terrine (980 yen): A rich and flavorful terrine that paired well with wine. - Pate en croute a la maison (1700 yen): A traditional French pate wrapped in pastry with pork, chicken, orange, and pistachios. - Iberico pork and clam presse (2680 yen): A dish with large Iberico pork pieces and delicious clams, served with a flavorful sauce. - Melon souffle glacé and compote with chamomile jelly (660 yen): A light and refreshing dessert with a surprising melon flavor. We also had bread and truffle-flavored whipped butter, along with drinks such as draft beer, shandygaff, and red wine. The chef, who is only 28 years old and from Tachikawa, impressed us with his innovative and delicious dishes. We left the restaurant looking forward to returning and inviting friends to experience the amazing food.

I always use s.e.c. and this sister store was my first visit. It was also very good. The taste of the food was great, and the staff's smiling send-off was pleasant. For 1750 yen, I had a drink before the meal, an appetizer platter, and a choice of main course (pan-fried swordfish with napa cabbage and clams). The fish was cooked perfectly and delicious. While s.e.c. offers brown rice bread, this store uses French bread made with fermented butter. I love brown rice bread, so that was the only downside for me, but I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again. ☺️

I went with my mother on a Sunday evening. It was really wonderful!! The air conditioning was directly hitting, so the inside of the store was cold, but it was no problem if you put on a jacket. The staff were kind and guided us through all the wines and dishes. I would like to use it again!!

This is a casual French bistro. The food is delicious and the portions are decent, making it a great choice for group dates or girls' night out. I especially loved the corn cream pasta. They were also accommodating with our appetizer choices, which was nice.

I finally visited a restaurant that I had been curious about for a long time. I ordered the casual lunch full course with a drink. Starting with a platter of appetizers, moving on to today's soup. Both the fish and meat dishes were delicious, and it was a very satisfying lunch. Next time, I would like to try their dinner menu too.

I visited this restaurant for lunch alone on a regular weekday. I had some errands in Tachikawa in the morning and decided to drop by without a reservation. I was also intrigued by the neighboring popular dining bar called Beast Harada, but since I had come all the way to Tachikawa, I chose this place. They had quick lunch and business lunch options, but I love salmon maki so I went with Course B. The set included a drink (wine also available), bread with whipped butter, assorted appetizers, salmon rare, roasted duck breast, meringue with passion fruit and chamomile jelly, coffee, and dessert. The price was good for all that was included. If this restaurant were closer to my area, it would be a convenient spot for lunch with friends. I would definitely visit again if I have the chance to come back to Tachikawa.

I visited the restaurant on a holiday in July 2023 for lunch. I had been wanting to visit this place for a while but never had the chance. When I called today, they said it was okay to come in for an hour, so I went. We ordered the Quick Lunch (1750 yen) x 2 with a change to sparkling wine (+330 yen) and the option to switch to alcohol. The appetizers were all well-prepared, especially the pork rillettes. The bread had a good flavor, and the whipped butter complemented it nicely. For the main course, I had the marumi pork loin sauté with charcutière sauce, which was delicious and had a sweet taste. My husband ordered the pan-fried cod with homemade bacon and cabbage cream, which also had a very tasty cream sauce. We also added a glass of white wine (550 yen) with Italian grit. Overall, it was a great dining experience.

I had some errands in Tachikawa, so I had lunch at "Bistro flat", a sister restaurant of the now-closed @bistropetit_ in Nishi-Ogikubo. The atmosphere is casual, but you can enjoy authentic French cuisine. I made a reservation online because I didn't want to miss out on the experience. It's great that you can also make reservations for lunchtime. I chose the Quick Lunch Set A, where you can choose either meat or fish. I wanted to try both, so I got one of each to share with my daughter. The roasted duck and pan-fried fresh fish were both luxurious and delicious for a lunch meal. The way they cooked each ingredient and paired it with the sauce was exquisite. The truffle-flavored whipped butter served with the bread at the beginning was also delicious. The appetizers included sautéed squid and spinach with anchovy, white fish mousse with saffron flavor, homemade potato salad with black olives and bacon, and baked pie with meat pate. Each dish was meticulously prepared and made me happy. The menu is so tempting that I ended up having some wine with my meal. I also ordered dessert, which was elderflower-scented ice cream with cookie crumble - it was just perfect. The amount of food was just right, leaving me wanting more. The Petit series never disappoints with their food, wine, and service. Unfortunately, I didn't get to meet Mr. Nakazawa, who seems to be at the restaurant in Kita-guchi. @bistropetit_ and @petitmarchelatelier both have accounts, so I hope to visit Nishi-Ogikubo again someday. #BistroFlat #BistroPetit #TachikawaGourmet #TachikawaFrench #CasualFrench #YetAuthentic #DishesThatGoWellWithWine #WantToConnectWithWineLovers #VisitNishiOgikuboAgain #PetitDependingOnTheMood #EatDependingOnTheMood

This is a bistro specializing in meat dishes from the Epice series (like Tepatomo-ca and sec), so the taste is guaranteed. The appetizers are delicate like in other restaurants in the series, and I think they may use the same ingredients. Some similar dishes are also served here. The atmosphere is more casual, but the knives are the same Laguiole as in Tepatomo-ca. I ended up ordering a somewhat pricey course with a pie, but it was still a satisfying meal.

Having lunch with a friend at this place right near the station. We chose a course that includes dessert and a pre-meal drink for an additional 300 yen, and toasted with a non-alcoholic sparkling drink! The restaurant was almost fully booked with reservations. The pre-meal drink, appetizer, salmon, choice of main course (I chose fish), dessert, and coffee or tea after the meal were all included in the course. The portions were generous. Due to the busy crowd, reservations are a must.

Visited the restaurant during the Golden Week holiday at 11 am with a reservation. It was fully booked with reservations, so it might be safer to make a reservation for visits on weekends and holidays. The menu I ordered was the GW limited special full course for 5110 yen (tax included), which was on sale for 5000 yen. It included amuse-bouche, foie gras mousse in choux pastry, seasonal fruit amuse-bouche, bread and truffle flavored whipped butter, a special terrine assortment, salmon with instant smoked rare preparation and seasonal sauce, roasted beef fillet with Perigueux sauce, truffle pound cake with liquor ice cream, and Earl Grey tea. I was torn between the regular lunch sets (1750 yen, 2680 yen, 3680 yen) and the GW limited full course (5000 yen), but since I couldn't travel during GW, I decided to indulge in the special course. Among the A to C regular lunch sets, the most cost-effective set seemed to be Set B, which many people were ordering. Despite it being my first visit, I got swayed by the GW limited menu this time, but if I have the chance next time, I would go for Set B. All sets come with a welcome drink, which is much appreciated. The portions were generous and I was completely satisfied. The cooking methods and ingredients were a bit elaborate. The roasted beef fillet, which may be the restaurant's specialty, was tender and delicious! However, I wished there was more sauce! Additional charges apply for bread refills, so it's important to pace yourself and not finish the bread too quickly. Overall, it was a very satisfying dining experience. I would love to revisit if I ever come to Tachikawa.

#Tachikawa #bistroflat I went for dinner (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵) According to Tabelog, around 3,522 reviews and about 12,000 yen per person. Located a 5-minute walk from Tachikawa Station, the atmosphere in Tachikawa is nice. #BistroFlat Reasonable prices with an atmosphere that exceeds the price, it was a wonderful restaurant ❤️ The first picture is red snapper carpaccio, grilled sea urchin, and semi-dried tomatoes. The moment it entered my mouth, I couldn't help but smile, the taste balance was amazing. The chicken white liver mousse was rich and I ended up ordering extra bread. The homemade roast ham with mustard seeds was delicious with sparkling wine. The main dish was grilled mackerel, and the meal ended with beef tendon red wine stew pasta. We finished a bottle of sparkling wine and the price was very satisfying. I was able to get a reservation on the same day for Sunday at 8:30 pm. It may have been good timing, but I recommend making a reservation. I don't go to Tachikawa often, but this is one of the restaurants I would like to visit again. #TachikawaGourmet #TachikawaDinner #TachikawaFrench #CasualFrench #BistroFlat #TachikawaBistro #TokyoBistro #Bistro

The lunch set B includes: a pre-meal drink, bread and whipped butter, assorted appetizers of the day, salmon served rare with the recommended sauce of the day, choice of main dish (fish, meat, or special), dessert of the day, and coffee. For an additional 330 yen, you can choose beer or wine as your pre-meal drink. There are also non-alcoholic wine options available. I chose to add beer this time, opting for Premium Malt. The appetizer platter had six delicious items, getting me excited right away. The salmon was indeed rare, which I enjoyed as it was tender and not overcooked. I chose the pork as my main dish, and it was cooked perfectly tender. The dessert was a meringue, light and with a nice texture. Overall, this set offered a great variety of dishes and good cooking at a reasonable price of under 3000 yen.

I visited this restaurant as I recently moved to Tachikawa. It was dinner time on a weekday and there were only 3 groups of customers. The daily recommended menu was displayed on a board inside the restaurant. Everything was delicious, especially the Rossini which had tender meat and was good value for money. We ordered the fried potatoes, but the portion was quite large for two people, so it might be better to share it among 3-4 people or not recommend it for smaller groups. The dessert menu mainly consisted of rich options, so it would be even better if there were some lighter options like sorbet. I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

JR Tachikawa Station, if you take the Tama Monorail, the closest station would be Tachikawa Minami Station, but this restaurant is located a little further towards Kokuritsu. TEPATOMOKA in Tachikawa North and S.E.C in GREEN SPRINGS are sister stores of this one, which seems to be the flagship store. I visited for lunch around 1 pm on a weekday. It was quite crowded, indicating its popularity. Since there were no counter seats, I sat at a table. I was torn between ordering the Business Lunch and the slightly more upscale Quick Lunch Set A, but ended up choosing the latter. The set came with a drink before the meal, which was a nice touch. I chose Lemongrass Herbal Tea, which was surprisingly delicious as it was served cold. The appetizer platter was beautifully presented with six different dishes. The staff explained each dish in detail, and the food was well-prepared. After the bread, the main dish was roasted chicken with Madeira wine, which had a unique and enjoyable flavor. The restaurant had a good atmosphere with many female customers. They accept payment via PayPay, making it convenient for individuals or groups. Overall, I thought it was a great restaurant.

I used it for lunch on my day off. The lunch course, including appetizers, warm appetizers, main dish, dessert, and coffee, all for less than 3000 yen, is quite cost-effective. I was happy that the plate for the warm appetizers was heated. The taste was also very delicious, and all the staff were very kind. If this restaurant were in the city center, it would probably become a popular spot even if the price were 1000 yen higher. I felt that I made a good choice by choosing this restaurant. I will definitely visit again!

I made a reservation for lunch alone at 12:30 on a weekday. Despite it being a weekday, the restaurant was fully booked, so I was glad I made a reservation. I ordered the Casual Lunch Short Course for 2680 yen. My favorite was the salmon rare dish. The sauce was creamy with a hint of herbs, and it was very delicious. For the main course, I chose the roasted duck, which was big and satisfying. The dessert, a cream cheese mousse, paired perfectly with the Shine Muscat. I noticed that the fruits on top varied depending on the person. Coffee was included after the meal, but I asked to change it to tea since I don't like coffee. Considering the price and the quality of the food, I would like to treat myself to this luxurious solo lunch occasionally.

Visit at 11:30 on Saturday. The restaurant is almost full. There are many female groups and couples. The restaurant is a stylish casual bar with a base of wood. It is a French restaurant, but there is no need to be formal, making it very easy to enter. The seasonal lunch full course appetizer, fish, and dessert were very delicious. I could eat with a fresh feeling for dishes I'm not familiar with. Each dish had a carefully crafted taste, and the appearance was stylish, making it enjoyable both visually and taste-wise. The staff's service was also very polite. Everyone had a smile, so we could spend a bright time there. Thank you for the meal!

A very delicious restaurant that I visit regularly. Every dish in the course meal is delicious, and they also serve wine that matches the food. The only thing that bothers me a little is that it would be nice if they could consider the timing of explanations when there are people around.

Our first outing with 22GW was to Tachikawa. We stayed overnight in preparation for golf the next day. While looking for a nearby delicious restaurant, we found this place. It is a stylish restaurant located just around the corner from Tachikawa Station. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. The assorted appetizers were excellent in variety and volume, and were satisfying enough on their own. The whole asparagus was sautéed and paired perfectly with bacon and egg sauce. The beef fillet and foie gras steak had a delicious sauce and the tender meat was gone in no time. There was a variety of drinks available, and we enjoyed sparkling wine, white wine, orange wine, and red wine to complement our meal. We would definitely want to visit this restaurant again when we go to Tachikawa. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Exit south from JR Tachikawa Station, then walk east for about 3 minutes. You will see a distinctive exterior at the corner of the intersection, making it easy to find. The interior of the restaurant has a bistro atmosphere, stylish and comfortable. They offer several lunch options based on portion size and budget, which is nice. - Lunch Short Course: 1,980 yen - Lunch Service Aperitif Sparkling Wine: 330 yen The lunch course is quite substantial and authentic. The staff's explanations are polite, giving a sense of a well-run establishment. In the course I had, you can choose from appetizers and a main course (meat or fish), plus dessert and a drink. I had coffee. The sparkling wine as an aperitif for lunch at 330 yen was a unique touch, so I tried that as well. It's very rare to get wine and a meal at this price, and everything was delicious. I had been meaning to visit this place for a while, and I should have known about it sooner. Highly recommended! Thank you for the wonderful meal!
