I happened to pass by this store and decided to go in. They had a variety of food items, mainly soy-based products. I was surprised by the low price of 1 liter of soy milk for about 100 yen, so I bought it immediately. They also sold G-mami tofu, which was really delicious! I would love to visit this store again.

I went alone on a weekday morning. [Rich Soy Milk] As the name suggests, it is rich and creamy. I love to warm it up and add a little sugar before drinking. When paired with meat buns, you can easily enjoy a Taiwanese-style breakfast. Since it is unadjusted soy milk, it can also be used in dishes like soy milk hot pot or savory soy milk. [Momen] The most affordable tofu sold at Shigeru. It is slightly smaller in size. Despite the low price, the taste is not bad. You can taste the richness of the soybeans. [Aburaage] Just your average aburaage. Compared to supermarket aburaage, it has a thicker and more elastic texture. [Gimami Tofu] Air-shipped from Okinawa. Made from peanuts, it is a chewy tofu. You can enjoy it as a dessert, but I prefer to eat it as a snack with alcohol. The rich flavor of peanuts makes it delicious even without seasoning. Adding a few drops of soy sauce and some wasabi can bring a different taste experience. [Seed Mix] A mix of pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and goji berries. The goji berries are just okay, but the pumpkin and sunflower seeds are fragrant and flavorful, making them delicious. I sprinkle them on my yogurt every morning. I prefer unadjusted soy milk because I not only drink it, but also use it in cooking. Shigeru's soy milk has no additives, is rich, and costs a pleasing 108 yen. I have decided that this is the place to buy soy milk.

I went to Umejima to eat curry and on the way back, I decided to buy some souvenirs. I found a shop called Sandaime Shigekura which was perfect for me as I have been on a diet since June due to concerns about my belly. Although it is a tofu shop, they sell a variety of items which are quite enjoyable to browse through. They had dishes like beef tongue curry and dumplings, but I ended up buying the following items due to my diet: - Soy milk fu (216 yen) - Seasoned konjac (108 yen) - Cold tanzaku (108 yen) - Peeled walnuts (216 yen) - Banana chip mix (108 yen) All of them were delicious and healthy. The prices were also reasonable, making it easy to buy. It's a shame that this shop is not near my house. I will definitely stop by again if I come across it somewhere else.

It is small in size but the taste is not bad at all. You can feel the rich flavor of soybeans and enjoy its smooth texture. These are my top three items to buy at Mokura. The balance between price and taste is good, and the satisfaction level is high.

I cooked it with ingredients such as carrots, dried shiitake mushrooms, konjac, and chikuwa. The flavor of the soybeans is strong, and the okara itself is delicious. To enjoy this deliciousness, it is recommended to cook it lightly seasoned. [Premium Tofu Made from Domestic Soybeans] Wrapped in non-woven fabric, the tofu is naturally dehydrated in the pack. The heavy tofu packed tightly is full of flavor, surprisingly sweet. Just a little soy sauce added, it is of course delicious. At 108 yen, this high-quality taste is wonderful. [One-Bite Ganmo] Eight pieces of plump and thick ganmo that cannot be eaten in one bite. The inside is packed with tofu, similar to thick fried tofu. I cooked it with lightly seasoned bonito broth. I went shopping in the evening on a holiday. There were no other customers, and I was able to choose from a variety of products. I purchased beef tongue stew, agedashi flavor, Kyoto-style ganmo, handmade barley natto, and premium tofu, all for just under 1000 yen. What a great deal! I had never heard of this store before, but it seems they have locations all over Kanto. The beef tongue stew was especially good. I'm not sure if this is the correct way, but I warmed it up gently in hot water. I was a bit worried about the bag tearing, so I transferred it to a plate and heated it in the microwave or a pot for peace of mind. There were about four pieces of beef tongue, each about 2cm square. I had it as a snack with drinks at home, and the demiglace sauce had a natural flavor and richness that was delicious. The portion was for one person, but there was plenty of sauce, so it was a great deal at 580 yen. If I had some other snacks, it could have been enough for two people. I will definitely buy it again if I come across it. The other tofu was wrapped in non-woven fabric, giving it a luxurious feel. It had a good texture and would be perfect for chilled tofu. The Kyoto-style ganmo could be eaten as is, making it convenient to have in stock. The barley natto was my first time trying it, and it had a light taste. I wish there was a store like this near my house. If I come across it again while out, I would definitely buy the beef tongue stew. Thank you for the meal.
