The name of the restaurant caught my attention, and even though I had heard of it before, it was my first time having lunch there. You can find the entrance by going up the stairs on the side of the building and walking a little further inside. The place is an izakaya at night, with a wide selection of Japanese sake on display. While the main focus is on chicken dishes, the evening menu offers various dishes that pair well with alcohol. For lunch, they have options like chicken cutlet set, fried chicken set, and curry. Since it was my first time, I decided to go for the half and half option with chicken cutlet and fried chicken. There are 9 different choices of sauces, and you can pick two, so I chose tonkatsu sauce and salt-based sauce. The fried chicken had a crispy and juicy texture that went perfectly with the salt-based sauce, while the chicken cutlet was crunchy and juicy, especially with lots of spicy mustard. You can also get extra rice and miso soup for free, so it's great for those with a big appetite. My colleague ordered the half and half with curry topped with cheese, which was also delicious and filling. I'm intrigued to come back for both lunch and dinner at this place called "Nanjakorya." Itadakimasu!

⭐️The octopus sashimi and avocado with wasabi stem had a spicy kick that was pleasantly sharp. The avocado added a creamy texture. ⭐️The potato fries come with mentaiko mayo and wasabi mayo sauce, making it a great deal. The thin fries were perfectly crispy. ⭐️The mixed grilled chicken with thigh and breast meat was tender, juicy, smoky, and delicious! The other charcoal-grilled chicken dishes were also very tasty. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was great. I definitely want to visit again.

I want to eat until I'm full these days. The seasoning of the fried chicken here and the firmness of the meat are excellent! The curry also has a thick, flavorful sauce with few ingredients. I wonder why they don't serve this fried chicken on the evening menu... I used to order the large portion before, but lately the normal size (which is already quite generous) is enough for me. Maybe I'm getting older... I enjoy the shredded cabbage and slowly savor the curry sauce. The curry here is truly unique and delicious! I will use this as my power to do my best today! I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

The karaage curry here is seriously delicious! It's funny that even though I want to eat this karaage at night, it's not available. They have regular karaage, but it's still strange. I forgot to take a picture of the food (-。-;) It's just the menu, but please forgive me as it's like a memo.

Shinjuku Sanchome Station is relatively close, but you wouldn't know about this place unless someone told you. It's not just any ordinary restaurant, you can't miss out on the lunch fried chicken set meal here. The fried chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with a sauce of your choice. You can try a new flavor every time you visit. Rice and miso soup are free for seconds. If you want to have fried chicken set meal in Shinjuku, this is the place to go (I guarantee it). Thank you for the meal.

I ordered the chicken cutlet curry at Toriyana and it was delicious as always. The portion was huge, about twice as big as I had imagined from the menu. I managed to finish it while feeling very full. Just a heads up, they only accept cash for lunch.

I ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry (980 yen). The chicken katsu has a crispy and delicious coating, and the chicken itself is tender and full of flavor. The curry is not very spicy but rich and flavorful. It's incredibly delicious! I always crave this Chicken Katsu Curry.

This is my first visit. I went there around 12 pm on a weekday. It's located about 4-5 minutes from Shinjuku Sanchome Station. I didn't go in last time because there was a line, but this time there was only one person waiting outside so I entered. I waited for about 5 minutes before being seated. The interior of the restaurant has tables for 2 and 4 people, with a tavern-like atmosphere and mostly male customers. I ordered the chicken cutlet curry for 980 yen. It was served in about 6-7 minutes. It came with miso soup with seaweed and fried tofu, and shredded cabbage with mayonnaise. The miso soup was a bit salty, but the fried tofu was thick and the seaweed was plentiful. The cabbage was thinly sliced and topped with mayonnaise, providing a refreshing contrast to the rich curry. The main dish, the chicken cutlet curry, had a generous amount of chicken cutlet covered in sauce. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. The curry seemed to be a blend of traditional curry roux with some authentic spices added. It wasn't incredibly delicious, but it was enjoyable and good for the price of 1,000 yen. The restaurant seems popular for its chicken cutlet and fried chicken, and the set meals are also popular. I might try the half & half set meal next time, where you can choose from a variety of sauces. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

Ordered items:
- Half & Half Curry with Chicken Cutlet and Karaage: ¥1,030
- Cheese Topping on Half Portion: ¥50
- Raw Egg: ¥50
Landmemo 3rd Street area. Discovered this shop while taking a walk. It was introduced as a regular spot by Hakkaku Hanamaru on "Sakurai Ariyoshi's Abunai Yakai." The Half & Half Curry features black curry with what seems like a full-size chicken cutlet and karaage on top. The curry has a rich and relatively sweet European flavor. The chicken cutlet was crispy and juicy, while the karaage had a chewy texture, making it a perfect match with the curry. Thank you for the meal, I will visit again.

I went to Toriyananajakorya for the first time at night. I have been here for lunch many times and enjoyed the famous katsu curry, but the dinner was also amazing. There were only a few elegant people, making it a comfortable atmosphere, and the menu was quite extensive with all the dishes being delicious. I especially liked the zosui I had at the end. I will definitely come back. Regularly.

I went to Toriyananajakorya with my company members for lunch. We had the famous half & half of tonkatsu and karaage, and as always, it was delicious. The restaurant has a TV visible from the table and has a popular lunch vibe. Just a heads up, they only accept cash for lunch. Also, the portions are generous.

At Toriya Nanjacorya, located a 3-minute walk from Shinjuku Sanchome Station in Tokyo, I had the half portion of chicken cutlet and half portion of fried chicken curry for 970 yen. This is my favorite lunch spot for chicken dishes, located just past my favorite Bon-ya. I arrived around 1:30 PM and the restaurant was about 60% full. I placed my order verbally and the food arrived in about 10 minutes. The meal came with shredded cabbage salad and miso soup. The chicken cutlet and fried chicken were not very big due to being half portions, but they were delicious and freshly fried. The curry had a dark color and was slightly spicy, reminding me of Go Go Curry. I finished my meal feeling satisfied. Thank you for the delicious food!

Specialty: Chicken Cutlet! Chicken Cutlet Curry! Charcoal-grilled Yakitori and Chicken Dishes Popular Izakaya "Toriya Nanja Korya" First Visit!
On a cold rainy winter day, with a slight drizzle in Shinjuku, I decided to take a break and head to Shinjuku for some errands. After finishing my errands, I found myself wandering around in the style of "The Lonely Gourmet" and ended up entering a restaurant that caught my eye for lunch in Shinjuku Sanchome!
From Shinjuku Sanchome Station, I walked towards Yasukuni Street in the direction of Suehirotei and on the right-hand side before Yasukuni Street, on the second floor of a mixed-use building, I found a hidden gem that has been in business since March 2009! This place has been operating for 13 years and is known to those in the know. They use the specialty chicken "Awajio Nidori" from Tokushima Prefecture, and they specialize in charcoal-grilled yakitori, chicken cutlet, fried chicken, chicken sashimi, seared Kinu Saba from Fukushima, and other izakaya menu items. The restaurant has a great reputation and has been featured on TV shows like "Sakurai Ariyoshi Yakai."
I arrived at 11:30 am and the restaurant was still fairly empty, so I sat at a table for two. I ordered the Chicken Cutlet Curry for ¥920 and added a topping of cheese for an extra ¥100, which caught my eye on the outdoor sign. I quenched my thirst with a draft beer while waiting for my food. After a 10-minute wait, the crispy chicken cutlet arrived, topped with cheddar and parmesan cheese. The curry sauce was rich and generously poured over the cutlet. I took a bite of the chicken cutlet first, enjoying the crispy texture of the breading. The rich cheese and juicy chicken cutlet paired well together, and the subtle spice of the curry sauce added an extra layer of flavor. The curry had a well-cooked chicken broth base with a hint of bitterness and a mild-medium spiciness, making it uniquely delicious. The chicken cutlet was expertly prepared and delicious, while the curry was well-cooked and had a delightful taste. It was a dish with a memorable and addictive flavor! I would definitely consider revisiting this place. A delicious and satisfying meal!

I have been to this chicken cutlet restaurant for lunch more than 10 times (lunch is really recommended, the spicy miso, wasabi mayo, and grated ponzu are the best, you can choose up to 2 sauces). First, I ordered the chicken cutlet. At night, it comes with cheese and sauce already on it, which is also delicious and goes well with alcohol. The grilled eggplant is moist and amazing. The tuna and avocado are always good. The rare parts like white liver and soriresu are around 680 yen and have a great volume, so the cost performance is excellent. I got so drunk that I forgot to take a picture of the oyster fry, but everything is of high quality. If you like the rich and chewy taste of Awaodori chicken, be sure to visit this place.

We visited the restaurant around noon with 5 people. We were seated at 2 separate tables, 3 people at one and 2 at another, as it was a bit crowded. We ordered the chicken cutlet curry, which arrived in about 10 minutes along with miso soup and shredded cabbage. The chicken cutlet was crispy and delicious, and the curry was tasty as well. We were very full but satisfied. It gave us the energy to work hard in the afternoon. (Note that they don't accept PayPay during lunchtime)

I heard about a popular izakaya called Toriya Nanjokorya in Shinjuku, known for their lunch chicken cutlet curry rice, so I decided to try it out. First of all, the portion of the curry rice was huge! The chicken cutlet was tender and delicious! The curry was just the right balance of sweet and savory. I went during lunchtime this time, but I'm interested in trying out their evening menu next time. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Lunch Time because it's been featured quite a bit in the media! You can choose from two types of sauce for the fried chicken. I chose the sauce recommended by the staff. The portion size is satisfying, enough to leave some if you're a woman. Recently, there hasn't been a signboard out, but if I see it, I want to go back again.

In Shinjuku Sanchome, there is a popular izakaya known for their chicken cutlet curry, chicken cutlet, and fried chicken set meals! At night, they offer a variety of dishes like yakisoba. The location is a bit tricky to find, but it's a 3-minute walk from Shinjuku Sanchome Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line, Fukutoshin Line, and Toei Shinjuku Line. The restaurant has about 30 table seats, and the atmosphere is lively even during these times. I visited alone around 1 pm and ordered the chicken cutlet and fried chicken set meal for 900 yen. You can choose 2 out of 10 different sauces, and I went with tonkatsu sauce and Japanese-style sauce. The meal arrived in about 10 minutes and was quite filling with 4 pieces of chicken cutlet and fried chicken. The taste was delicious, especially when paired with the tonkatsu sauce. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, and I look forward to trying their curry next time!

It wasn't bad, but it was not as good as I expected. I was walking around the 3rd district in Shinjuku for work and came across a restaurant that was promoting chicken cutlets, so I decided to go in. Surprisingly, it wasn't crowded for lunchtime, which was lucky. I ordered a half and half of fried chicken and chicken cutlet, and I could choose from a variety of sauces. I chose tonkatsu sauce and wasabi mayonnaise. The comments mentioned that the portions were generous, and indeed, the main dishes were quite large, and they offered free refills of rice and miso soup, so I didn't have to worry about the quantity. However, I felt that the sauce was a bit lacking for the cutlets, and the taste was just average, so I don't think I will go back again. It would be nice if they could provide regular sauce or soy sauce on the table, considering the size of the main dishes.

I had the chicken cutlet set meal for 850 yen at a chicken cuisine izakaya in the Shinjuku Sanchome area. There are not many reviews, but it seems to have some exposure on TV. The street sign is eye-catching, but the restaurant is located in a large mixed-use building, so I got lost. There are actually two shops in the building. The lunch menu is simple, offering chicken cutlet and chicken curry combinations. You can choose from two types of sauces. Today, I decided to go with just the chicken cutlet without being greedy. The freshly fried chicken cutlet was delicious. I wonder if it would go well with curry. Now I'm curious about the fried chicken too. I really enjoy izakaya lunches.

Before heading out to Golden Gai, we decided to have a drink in Shinjuku 3-chome. We were considering going to Bonya-san, but decided to try a place called "Toriya Nanja Korya 1" on the 2nd floor of the same building instead. There is also a "Toriya Nanja Korya 2" on the 3rd floor, which can be confusing. This place was featured on TV shows like Downtown Now, Sakurai Ariyoshi Yakai, and Hirunandesu. It seems to have a strong connection with NTV. The popular dish here is the chicken cutlet curry. It was not crowded when we arrived before 7 pm, but it got busier later on. The menu mainly consists of chicken dishes. We started with a medium-sized glass of Asahi beer for 450 yen each, and were served a complimentary appetizer of egg and vegetable salad. We ordered the following dishes: Tofu and plenty of seaweed salad for 530 yen, Sliced chicken and avocado salad for 650 yen, and Grilled chicken mix of thigh and breast meat for 980 yen. The tofu and seaweed salad was a simple salad with grated onion dressing. The sliced chicken and avocado salad had a nice combination of tender chicken and creamy avocado. The grilled chicken mix was served with cabbage and miso. The chicken was Awaodori chicken, with a normal chicken texture. It lacked the smoky flavor of charcoal-grilled chicken like the one we had in Miyazaki. The thigh meat was delicious with its fatty parts. The portion might be a bit small for three people, but it was just right for two. We also had a lemon sour for 480 yen each before heading to Golden Gai. We stayed for about an hour. There was only one foreign staff member serving, so it was a bit difficult to place orders when it got busy. Overall, it was an average chicken restaurant experience.
