I looked up Asakusa revolving sushi restaurant online and decided to try it out because it was nearby. It was really terrible... All the sushi was dry. The dishes going around were one thing, but the sushi we ordered fresh was also terrible. The tuna was inedible. The chutoro was okay, but the worst was the anago. I believe that even the 100 yen sushi from a major chain restaurant would be undoubtedly tastier! Haha

I had trouble deciding on a restaurant to go to in Asakusa because there are so many I want to try. I was in the mood for sushi, so I looked for a conveyor belt sushi place considering price and how crowded it might be, and ended up choosing this one. As soon as I entered the restaurant, something caught my attention (I won't go into details). The rice in the sushi felt like regular rice, which made me think they might be trying to accommodate foreigners who might not like vinegared rice. I tried sea bream, horse mackerel, mackerel, and squid, and except for the sea bream, the rest were delicious. I probably won't be coming back.

While strolling around Asakusa, I felt a little peckish and decided to step into this restaurant that caught my eye. They had rotating sushi, but you could also order directly and the chef behind the counter would make it right away. The sushi made by hand was subtly warm and melted in my mouth. It was evident that it was made by human hands, unlike the machine-made rice of conveyor belt sushi. The rolls were freshly made as well. I tried a variety of dishes, and all of them were delicious despite being affordable. The tuna, in particular, was surprisingly tasty for the price. I recommend this place for those who want a casual sushi experience at a reasonable price.

I felt a little hungry and decided to stop by for some sushi. The price varies depending on the type of plate, but there is a wide selection available for ¥125 (excluding tax), which is quite reasonable. I noticed that in some locations within the same chain, they offer the same items for ¥100 (excluding tax), so I wonder if this is a regional difference. The sushi toppings include common options like banana prawns, sea urchin, and red sea bream. The rice is well-seasoned and all the sushi tastes decent. The fatty tuna served is more like lean meat without much fat. Considering the price, it's not bad at all. It's convenient for grabbing sushi quickly and affordably.

This is a revolving sushi restaurant in Asakusa with a rating of 3.07 on Tabelog. I stopped by when I was wandering around Asakusa and feeling a bit hungry. It's a revolving sushi restaurant that you often see in busy areas, and I have been to this place many times. Normally, this place is bustling with foreign tourists, but due to the impact of the coronavirus, there were no foreign customers. Only half of the lanes were moving and it was quite empty. The staff also seemed a bit down. I hope Asakusa will return to its lively self soon, but it's tough when the future is uncertain.

Asakusa part, third stop ( ◠‿◠ ) After eating 'kibidango' and 'agemanju', we were thinking about where to have lunch. Asakusa has many food places to explore. My companion suddenly stopped in front of 'Original Sushi' and said, "I want sushi" (^_^;) Oh, well (−_−;) I was thinking of finding a soba restaurant or a delicious set meal place for lunch, but... well, I guess we should go for what we want to eat. Let's give it a try... The interior of the restaurant was not very spacious, with a rotating table in the center and mostly foreign tourists. You can't experience this kind of atmosphere in Utsunomiya. The staff seemed to be not Japanese and their service was a bit rough... My companion doesn't like wasabi, so we ordered salmon sushi without wasabi, which made the staff look puzzled for a moment (^_^;) However, the sushi itself was normal, not much different from a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. The toppings were not dry, and the rice was small and a bit crumbly, but considering the cost performance, the sushi was not bad. We enjoyed the fresh and delicious squid, and being sandwiched between two foreign tourists on both sides, it was a unique experience that we don't usually have. I think it was nice ( ◠‿◠ )

Yesterday and today, Tanabata festivals are being held in various places♪ We went to Asakusa (*´ω`*) Since it's organized by the Asakusa shopping street, the festival stalls are run by the local shop owners instead of professional vendors. It's funny to see them being a bit amateur at running stalls despite being experts in their businesses ( ・∀・) We walked around, snacking on grilled chicken and pickled cucumbers while sipping on draft beer... but then we got really hungry! We tried to find a restaurant for lunch, but everywhere was packed with long lines. It's tough to find a place to eat after 12 pm in a tourist spot like this (;・∀・) So, when we passed by this revolving sushi restaurant with a few empty seats at the counter, we decided to go in C=C=\(;・_・)/ Surprisingly, everyone there except us was foreign. It's amazing how popular Asakusa is... As for the sushi, the fish was quite fresh and didn't have any fishy smell (I'm quite sensitive to the smell of fish). It was delicious (*´∇`*) The sea urchin had a strange aftertaste though. By the way, as someone who loves pickled vegetables as a beer snack, I was delighted to find pickled vegetables on the menu, which is quite rare. Thank you for the meal.

In May 2019 in Tokyo Asakusa, revolving sushi is much tastier than high-end sushi at a regular standing party. After finishing a standing party at a certain hotel, we headed to the lively Asakusa for the Sanja Matsuri (preparation). The atmosphere is completely different between the fake excitement and the real excitement. The energy levels are clearly different, and most importantly, people's expressions are different. Even just having a drink, every place is crowded. We entered the revolving sushi restaurant "Ganso Sushi Asakusa-san Honten" located in the arcade street and Shin-Nakamise shopping street. We toasted with a "small bottle of beer ¥520 (excluding tax, same below)" and ordered "tsubugai and akagai ¥125/2 rolls=1 plate". Mmm, delicious. Rather than Bordeaux wine and Michelin-starred sushi (although standing), this is honestly tastier. Looking around, everyone except us are foreign visitors. It's very international. The staff also speaks very broken English. It would be nice if they were a bit more polite and kind. With 2 beers and 9 plates of sushi, it came out to ¥2343 for 2 people. It was very reasonable for a light meal. Satisfied, satisfied. Ah, the energy in Asakusa. The first festival of Reiwa is sure to be a success!

After seeing the Asakusa Sanja Matsuri for the first time, I happened to stop by a sushi restaurant. As expected in Asakusa, the place was mostly filled with foreign customers. It seemed like a slightly upscale conveyor belt sushi restaurant. The plates ranged from 90 yen to 700 yen with a variety of toppings. I had some whelk and medium fatty tuna. The sushi was not just the toppings placed on rice, but they were firmly pressed together. Thank you for the meal.

I found a conveyor belt sushi restaurant while strolling in Asakusa called "Ganso Sushi," which seems like a chain store. Since there is no such restaurant in Morioka, I decided to give it a try. The main dishes cost 125 yen each, so it's not too expensive. I tried the tuna, yellowtail, and tekka maki, and they were all delicious. The freshness seemed a step above national chains, and the satisfaction level was high. I think it's on the same level as the 100 yen chain in Morioka, considering the location costs. It's lively and quite good overall.

If you're looking for affordable conveyor belt sushi in Asakusa, this is the place to go. They offer simple sushi dishes like a maguro (tuna) combo, with no extras like fries or salad that you might find at bigger chain restaurants. The seating is only at the counter, so it's not really suitable for large groups. It's close to Asakusa Station, so you'll see a lot of foreigners and families with children, but I wouldn't recommend it for families with kids. The chairs are just round stools, and they don't provide separate plates for children. When a Japanese tourist sitting next to us asked for a plate to share with their child, the staff seemed unsure as all transactions are done based on the number of plates, so they might end up charging for an extra dish like miso soup. It was a bit awkward for both the staff and the customer. On a recent visit, I noticed they now accept electronic payments like transportation cards and Edy, which is convenient.

☆The sushi ingredients are generally small in size and the taste is better at major conveyor belt sushi chains. The bluefin tuna is disappointing as it is closer to farmed tuna rather than fatty tuna. However, the raw shrimp and pickled ginger are delicious.☆The interior of the restaurant is old, but clean. The staff members were chatting amongst themselves, but it was still acceptable for a conveyor belt sushi restaurant.☆In terms of cost performance, the sushi here is smaller in size and slightly inferior in taste compared to major chains, yet the prices are a bit higher. It is cheap, but lacks satisfaction. I won't be visiting this restaurant again.

In front of the station, the quality of the ingredients was good, but the service was lacking. The chef seemed a bit disinterested and didn't greet us when we entered. The sushi we ordered was delicious, with a good variety of options at a reasonable price. It was sometimes difficult to tell the price of each plate. Overall, despite the mediocre service, the convenient location near the station makes me consider going back again.

I wanted to try various foods, so even though it was crowded, I entered because there were seats available for two people. I refreshed myself with a draft beer and tried one plate of sushi that was going around. Unfortunately, it was a bit dry, and I realized that sushi must be ordered freshly made. When I placed an order with a lively older gentleman, delicious sushi arrived right away. The medium fatty tuna and the extra large portion of sea urchin were incredibly delicious. I mainly focus on alcohol, so I would like to see more variety in the menu for snacks and alcoholic beverages. However, it gets very busy, so I guess they have to keep the turnover fast.

In Asakusa, known for its many sushi restaurants, there are only about 3-5 conveyor belt sushi restaurants. The fierce competition for conveyor belt sushi has now shifted to Ueno, as there are now more affordable and delicious sushi restaurants that don't rely on conveyor belts. Even the oldest conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Asakusa has improved the freshness and quality of its ingredients, but it has fallen behind in terms of the simplicity, affordability, and efficiency of conveyor belt sushi. - There are too many confusingly colored plates. - Prices are surprisingly high and not clearly displayed with tax excluded. - The portion size of each piece is very small. - There are significantly fewer options in the lower price range. Overall, the system seems to target only budget-conscious tourists, creating an impression of being stingy and ultimately leading to a high bill. The satisfaction and value after eating are very low. Even though I didn't eat much, the bill came close to 2500 yen. I regret not choosing a set sushi under 2000 yen at another restaurant. It's annoying to have to constantly worry about the price of each plate, and it's frustrating to feel deceived by the unclear pricing on the colored plates. It's clear now why the original sushi restaurant is falling behind the popular conveyor belt sushi chains - it's not just about the affordability and quality of the ingredients, but also the lack of transparency in pricing.

After visiting Sensoji Temple, I got hungry so it's snack time here. The revolving sushi is cheap and I was seated within about 5 minutes. The sushi chef is a bit unfriendly, but the sushi itself is surprisingly good. The rice is slightly sticky, but the balance with the toppings is great. It doesn't feel like cheap revolving sushi at all. The sushi melts nicely in your mouth. The quality is like what you would find in a professional establishment. The squid and tuna were particularly good. I would definitely want to come back again. Thank you for the meal.

I often go to Asakusa. I was feeling a little hungry, so I looked for a place where I could have a late lunch. I found a sushi restaurant that seemed like I could get in right away, so I decided to have sushi. Asakusa is a place where about half of the customers are foreign tourists. The revolving sushi restaurants in the Ueno and Asakusa area seem to have a lot of foreign customers. Sometimes I see noisy foreign customers, but this place was relatively quiet and comfortable. The sushi had slightly smaller rice portions and a variety of toppings. I didn't feel that the toppings or rice were particularly delicious, but it's a place where you can quickly enjoy sushi. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Hakone Yumoto Onsen with my children and grandchildren for two nights. It takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes to get to Yumoto Onsen Station from Kyoto. We planned to stay for 2 nights here and then head back, but we decided to extend our trip to Asakusa on the way back. We took the Tokyo Metro to Asakusa. When we got off at the station and headed towards Sensoji Temple, it was very crowded. As we were strolling around the temple, we found a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. It's the original sushi restaurant. We went in and even though the restaurant wasn't very big, it was bustling. The first bite of fatty tuna and regular tuna was delicious and fresh. I also tried some sea urchin, which was also fresh and tasty. That was the end of our meal. If you have people in your group who are hungry and others who are not, a conveyor belt sushi restaurant is great because you can eat as much as you like. It was delicious.
