As usual, I had to work on Sunday. But since no one complained, it was fine. As usual, Atre was crowded. It was past 12 o'clock and quite busy, so I decided to go to this place where there was no line and the menu looked interesting. It was an Indian curry place inside Atre. The interior didn't have much of an Indian vibe, but rather a clean and bright cafe atmosphere. The menu that caught my eye was the biryani. This one was chicken. During lunchtime at places like this, the menu is usually curry and naan, with variations like adding tandoori chicken or changing the price. Biryani is a dish that requires effort, and it's not often served during the day, but they had it here. I wanted to try it after a long time. After a short wait, a salad and two dishes arrived. One was yogurt, and the other was a slightly curry-flavored soup, maybe with beans. It had a slightly spicy taste. Then a white dish with a lid was brought to the table. I couldn't see inside, which made me excited. When ordering a tajine, they usually bring a distinctive hat-shaped dish, and when you try to take a photo, they quickly remove the lid and leave. But this time, the lid remained on. I could take plenty of photos, but when I tried to lift the lid to eat, I had to pull back my hand. It was too hot. I wasn't sure if it was helpful or not. I used the towel to lift the lid. A nice aroma wafted out. It seemed like it was cooked in it, with a crispy bottom. The dish looked better than I had imagined! It contained a generous amount. The rice was fluffy, with a fusion of herbs and spices. It was delicious on its own, but even better with yogurt. I also tried pouring the yellow soup-like sauce over it. But I still preferred it with yogurt. Having both options made it more interesting. I finished the large portion. Later, I noticed that various stores in Atre were offering a "adult kids' lunch" with curry, naan, and biryani. The restaurant I visited also had this option, priced around 2000 yen. I realized that if I had ordered that, I wouldn't have been able to enjoy the biryani as much or the crispy bottom, so I was glad I chose what I did.
