Antsuki after two years. The 1000 yen for 3 appetizers deal is still going strong. The menu options to choose from were a bit different this time. I selected Okra with Ponzu, White Radish with Spicy Cod Roe, and Green Onion with Salted Pork. They were all delicious, but they seemed a bit plain in appearance. The star of the show, the motsunabe, has gone from gold to silver to white, and this time it was a Fukuoka-style sweet soy sauce base, labeled "red". The juicy and chewy motsu was as delicious as ever. There were quite a few chili peppers in it, so it was unexpectedly spicy! It's great for warming up in the cold winter. To finish off, I had Nagasaki Champon. The slightly thicker champon noodles and the flavorful soup left me feeling very satisfied. And of course, the view from the Soramachi store is amazing. Food and drinks probably taste 1.2 times better with that view. The only downside is that it can get a bit cold by the window seats. It's impressive that the bill doesn't add up too much even after eating quite a bit. That must be part of its popularity. Thank you for the meal!

Located on the 31st floor near the Skytree, this restaurant offers a spacious interior with a stunning view, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. The miso-flavored white motsu hot pot and the mentaiko mayo dashimaki were delicious and reasonably priced considering the atmosphere. I will definitely come back again.

When it comes to eating motsunabe in Tokyo, "Antsuki" is the only choice. I usually go for dinner, but this time I went for lunch after a long time. The price is a bit high for lunch, but the taste is satisfying. The small side dishes and dessert are delicious, and I was satisfied until the end. Personally, I like the view at Antsuki's restaurant the most.

A great place for a lunchtime drink with a view, this motsunabe restaurant is perfect for taking a day off during the week. We opted for individual orders instead of the motsunabe set meal because we wanted to enjoy some drinks. We ordered the spicy motsunabe (serves 2) with renkon and takana. For dessert, we had champon noodles (serves 1). We each had two drinks and the total bill came to just under 8000 yen. Considering the location on the 31st floor of Solamachi (the top floor), we thought this was a good deal. The flavor was rich, with a strong garlic taste that even my husband, who used to live in Fukuoka, appreciated. The noodles for the champon were a bit overcooked and the sweet broth diluted the flavor of the motsu, which was a bit disappointing. Other than that, everything was great. Despite the small-looking pot, we left feeling stuffed.

Visited on the day of the Edogawa Fireworks Festival. This restaurant is the only one in Solamachi with an unobstructed view on the east side, as the Skytree is located on the west side of Solamachi. It is recommended to reserve the back side of the restaurant, especially the counter seats. If you sit at the front counter, the fireworks (Edogawa) will be on the left and may be obstructed by a pillar. On the first Saturday of August, you can see three large fireworks festivals at the same time - Edogawa, Tachikawa, Matsudo, and Makuhari. You can even combine smaller ones to see up to 7 fireworks festivals simultaneously. Due to COVID, fireworks have not been held for 4 years, so I was able to make a reservation a week before, but it may not be possible in the future. Now, back to the taste of the restaurant itself. This place is part of the chain that popularized motsunabe (tripe hot pot) in Tokyo (Ebisu Antsuki), and the taste is truly exceptional. If it's your first time trying motsunabe, I recommend the white broth. The side dishes are also excellent, especially the Karashi Renkon (lotus root with mustard) which is a must-try. Additionally, the mentaiko (spicy cod roe) omelette is also highly recommended. For drinks, the Antsuki highball is delicious. This is a restaurant I would like to reserve every year for the fireworks festival.

The location was good, and the lunch was great value for money. I liked that you could choose the flavor. The portion size was just right. The burdock tempura snack was not the typical stick type (lol). I wish there were more options for snacks!

I went for lunch. I was able to make a reservation on the website. Instead of the lunch menu, I had the motsunabe soy sauce flavor and vinegar motsu, and it was delicious. The view from the 35th floor was beautiful and it seems like a good place for sightseeing too!

I visited near the Skytree for dinner after many years. At the request of my companion, we sat at a counter for two people with a view of the window, where we could enjoy a wonderful view while having motsunabe. The dishes were consistently good, so it's a great place to use depending on the situation. Thank you for the meal.

We made a reservation for 2 people at 4:30 PM, and went straight to the restaurant on the top floor using the elevator from the Soramachi building after getting off at Oshiage Station. We were seated at a table by the window, overlooking a fantastic view even though the weather was cloudy. We ordered a silver tripe hot pot with a hint of salt and pepper, along with beer and spicy cucumber salad with ginger as appetizers. I was initially worried about the smell of the tripe, but it turned out to be fresh and well-prepared, without any unpleasant odor. The combination of the tripe's fat and the saltiness of the dish made it very enjoyable. We also ordered noodles as a finishing touch, and the meal was delicious until the end.

Antarctic in Hakata, I wonder if I've been there before? It's been about 10 years since I last visited, with main locations now in Tokyo's Ebisu and Osaka's Shinsaibashi. On a weekday afternoon, I found myself at Tokyo Skytree Town, where the 6th-floor restaurant area was bustling with long lines everywhere. I wondered if I should also line up at Antarctic. I ended up going to the 31st floor, as there was no direct elevator from the ground and one of the two elevators was under maintenance. You can enjoy the view outside the elevator. The view from the Antarctic seat and the elevator is different from the view of Tokyo Skytree seen from inside the restaurant. There was no line, and the restaurant was filled with foreign visitors and domestic travelers. The staff seemed very busy. I ordered the motsunabe white set for 2354 yen, which came with motsunabe, small side dishes, rice, pickles, and a mini ohagi dessert. The spiciness levels go from red, soy sauce to white, miso, and then spicy miso. The IH heater at each table was not used. The motsu had a nice texture, and I enjoyed the burdock and tofu. I drank plenty of soup, but choked a bit on the sliced chili pepper. They promptly refilled my water. The motsu men set for 1881 yen came with motsu men, salad, and rice, with the option to double the horumon for 2288 yen. I struggled with my decision but ended up choosing the motsunabe white set, although I regretted not opting for the motsu men set without rice. I still feel regretful even now. Thank you for the meal. The cleaning aspect left me feeling a bit unsettled.

I felt like eating motsunabe, so I visited this restaurant! They offer Kyushu dishes like motsunabe and satsuma-age. The white motsunabe tasted just like the one I had in Fukuoka, it was delicious! They had a wide variety of drinks, and the sweet highball I ordered was really good! I've decided that I'll order it again next time I come to this restaurant. Even though I'm in Tokyo, I can enjoy authentic Kyushu cuisine here, so I definitely want to try other dishes next time I visit!

Located on the 31st floor of Tokyo Skytree Town "Solamachi," this restaurant offers "motsunabe" from Hakata. While Solamachi has many dining options and a food court on the 6th and 7th floors, the 30th and 31st floors also have a restaurant area. The prices may be slightly higher compared to the lower floors, but it is less crowded, making it a hidden gem. The view from the restaurant on the 31st floor is outstanding, overlooking Tokyo Bay. During a weekday lunch visit, there were available seats, and I was seated at a counter by the window with a fantastic view. I opted for the "Shiro (white) motsunabe set" priced at 2354 yen, with a choice of four soup bases. The most popular is the miso-flavored "Shiro," while the soy sauce-flavored "Aka" is the cheapest at 2123 yen. The "Gin" with salt and black pepper is 2200 yen, and the spicy miso-flavored "Honoo" is 2398 yen. The soup for the "Shiro" is garlic-rich, and the portion of motsu was generous. The texture of motsu was satisfying, and the spring cabbage added a sweet touch. The dish also included leeks and burdock, making it a surprisingly healthy meal. The side dishes included white fish sashimi, pickles, and a mini dessert of ohagi. Although not cheap for lunch, the motsunabe was delicious, and combined with the view, it was a satisfying experience. We also ordered burdock tempura and chicken karaage, which paired well with the motsunabe soup.

Visited on February 24, 2023 (Friday) at 19:15 with a reservation. Antsuki is a popular restaurant that requires reservations for all locations. Especially in Ebisu, reservations for Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays fill up quickly. On this day, I visited the Antsuki on the 31st floor of the Skytree. When going with two people, you are often guided to a window seat where you can overlook the city, which is a nice touch. The appetizers like lotus root with mustard are delicious, but the highlight is definitely the motsunabe (tripe hot pot). I always go for the reliable white motsunabe. I want to try different things, but white is just too delicious, and I'm afraid to miss out (laughs). When you want to eat motsunabe in Tokyo, Antsuki is highly recommended!

Antsuki in Ebisu is a somewhat famous restaurant where you can enjoy a red motsu set meal for around 2000 yen. They only offer lunch menus during the day. It is located on the 31st floor of Solamachi, but the signage and directions in Solamachi are confusing. The motsu here tends to be fatty, so it might be a bit heavy for some people.

I visited at night, and the view of the city from the window was very beautiful. I ordered the most affordable course, but the champon noodles for the finale were quite filling and satisfying. The white miso motsunabe was delicious.

31st floor of Soramachi. A restaurant where you can enjoy motsunabe while overlooking the cityscape of Tokyo. I made a reservation for a Friday night and was seated at a counter seat facing the window. Started with a draft beer for a toast. Super Dry for 704 yen. Three small dishes for 1,100 yen. A great menu that arrived quickly as an appetizer. Tried the spicy lotus root for the first time for 671 yen. It was crispy and fragrant - turns out it's fried! The slight spiciness of the mustard is nice. It's addictive. About 10 minutes later, the main dish, motsunabe, arrived. The motsu is cooked, so once the vegetables are cooked, it's ready. The motsu is thick and has a firm texture. The miso-based soup is a deliciously spicy umami flavor. The leeks, tofu, and cabbage each match the flavor of the soup. The beer goes down smoothly! Finished with champon noodles for 539 yen. Even though I was full, I couldn't resist. When I got a little tired of beer, I tried the Yukari Sour for 610 yen. Yukari to mix with rice. The taste is not too strong, a refreshing and slightly red shiso-flavored sour. There was a 2-hour time limit, but I ate my fill. Enjoyed the night view and motsunabe.

I visited this restaurant before and it was very delicious, so I decided to visit again. Last time, I went at night, but this time I went for lunch. The seats by the window on the 31st floor offer a fantastic view and a great sense of openness! For lunch, you can order a la carte just like at night. I was looking forward to the white motsu nabe! The miso-based soup with a strong garlic flavor is incredibly delicious. I couldn't help but drink up the soup, even though I thought I should save some for the end. I'm curious about the other soups, but I know for sure that next time, I will definitely order the white motsu nabe again. I want to visit again.

I made a reservation for lunch and was able to enter without waiting in line. It's quite rare to be able to make a reservation at a restaurant in Soramachi on weekends, so it was very valuable! I really love Antuki, so I regularly visit their other locations as well, and every location is delicious. The Soramachi location has a beautiful view and private rooms, making it a casual place to bring children. I went with my nephew and niece, and the kids' menu was cute and looked delicious. It was my first time having their lunch set, and I was so impressed by the great value.

When visiting a friend who lives in Oshiage, I usually end up stopping by Solamachi. I made a reservation here in advance to avoid the Saturday crowds. Surprisingly, there was no waiting line, perhaps due to the unusually good weather for February. I ordered the lunch set of motsunabe with salt, miso, and soy sauce flavors. It's interesting how tastes can differ so much. The motsunabe was served not in a pot, but on a plate with rice, sashimi, pickles, and a small ohagi. Motsunabe is best enjoyed when eaten around a pot. Even though it was a warm day, the lukewarm motsunabe (or motsu plate?) felt somewhat lackluster. But the breathtaking view from the 31st floor of Skytree made up for it, providing a mood-lifting experience. On a side note, I've noticed that some restaurants are not serving water automatically lately. Is it because of the pandemic? Or maybe for foreign visitors? It seems like we are entering an era where we shouldn't take such things for granted.

I went to eat delicious motsunabe. It is located on the 31st floor, so I thought it would be very expensive, but the lunch menu is not that expensive. The restaurants on the 6th and 7th floors are crowded on holidays, so it might be a hidden gem. The window seats have a great view. My husband was a little reluctant to go because he is afraid of heights. It may not be suitable for people with acrophobia haha. The floor feels a little sticky, maybe because of the oil from the motsu. For the motsunabe lunch, you can choose from 4 flavors, I chose the most popular white miso, and my husband chose the spicy miso. Each was around 2,000 yen. The ant design on the chopstick wrapper is cute. The food is served quite quickly. It is not brought in a bubbling pot, but in a silver bowl. I have a sensitive tongue, so it's fine for me, but for those who don't like it unless it's piping hot until the end, it might be a downside. The ingredients include motsu, cabbage, burdock, tofu, and garlic-flavored leeks. The spicy miso is not that spicy, but has a strong garlic flavor. It was not exactly the taste I was expecting, but it was still quite delicious. The soup with a lot of melted oil makes you full towards the end. The extra rice was free. The side dishes included sashimi with sesame dressing, a small dessert called ohagi, and a petit dessert. It wasn't the most delicious motsunabe I've had, but with reasonable prices, a nice view, and decent food, I think it's a pretty good restaurant.

Antsuki used to be a restaurant in Ebisu where it was almost impossible to make a reservation by phone, but now it has become a chain restaurant and is easily accessible. This particular restaurant is located in Skytree's Solamachi, with a stylish atmosphere and friendly, efficient staff. Enjoying dishes like Chicken Nanban, mentaiko rolled omelette, and tempura chicken while sipping on an Antsuki highball with apple vinegar, you'll be served with a gold pot of motsu (offal) that is flavorful and chewy. Next comes the silver pot of motsu, which is garlicky and energizing. You can choose your choice of noodles as the finishing dish if you order multiple pots. I chose champon noodles with the silver pot. I also had Amaou strawberry ice cream, all for less than 7,000 yen per person. The motsu hot pot is delicious and affordable, although the accessibility may have slightly diminished the novelty. Still, it remains consistently tasty. The location on the 31st floor of Solamachi is perfect for a date night.
