My husband and I took our children (a toddler and an infant) to a restaurant near Kyodo Station on a Sunday around 2 pm. We were lucky to find a parking spot and decided to eat there. We ordered a lunch set and several additional options like pork loin, kalbi, shrimp, and seaweed. However, the order in which the dishes were brought to us was a bit off. I had requested the tongue to be served first, but it ended up being the last item brought to us. By the time it arrived, the other meats had started to cool down. Despite this, the manager came over to apologize and even helped set up a chair for our infant to sleep in. The service was very attentive, reminding me of the level of service at Jojoen. While there are probably better-tasting yakiniku restaurants for the price, the food was still good and the consistent quality is something I appreciate.

Jyuban is reassuring because they are very attentive. We went for lunch and it seems like they have made some changes to the menu. There were three of us, and when the lunch salad with cucumber was served, not only were the cucumbers peeled, but the presentation was almost identical for all three of us, which was surprising. I was impressed by how consistent they were in their presentation. I couldn't help but take a picture of the salad presentation for three people, so please check it out if you're interested. Jyuban serves everything with care and beautifully presented. The perfectly sliced beef tongue was also a delight. And the way they cook the rice is excellent. Usually, at yakiniku restaurants, the rice tends to be hard, but at Jyuban, it was cooked to perfection. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

On holidays, this restaurant is usually crowded and you have to wait for at least 30 minutes without a reservation, or sometimes you can't even get in because all reservations are full. This time, I visited around 11 am without a reservation and had to wait for 40 minutes before being seated in a private room. Although there was an additional fee for the private room, it was the only option available. The service was polite and we were escorted to the private room. I must say, I really like the calm atmosphere of private rooms. The mixed lunch set with lean beef and kalbi, along with an extra order of tongue salt, was served. The meat looked high-quality and delicious! I started with the Jyujyusen Salad, which had a perfect salty taste that made me want to keep eating. While grilling the lean beef and kalbi, I took a bite of kimchi. It had a refined taste with just the right amount of spiciness. Then, I dipped the grilled meat in the sauce and it was so delicious! I've come to appreciate the taste of lean beef as I've gotten older. But when I indulged in the kalbi, the sweetness and fattiness filled my brain with happiness. Next, I tried the tongue salt with lemon juice for a refreshing taste. As always, Jyujyusen did not disappoint! Whether it was the rice, namul, or soup, everything was delicious. Considering the price, some may say it's expected, but I believe that in a market where many barbecue restaurants disappoint at the same price range, Jyujyusen stands out for maintaining consistent quality across all its branches. The dessert served after the meal made the 40-minute wait seem like nothing (laughs).

I received a gift certificate for Yakiniku restaurant "Jyubanen" from a business client and decided to visit on a Saturday night. I was unsure where to go as I heard that prices vary depending on the location, but ultimately decided to visit a location closer to me as good quality meat is not something you can eat a lot of. I made a reservation for 8:00 pm and when I arrived, the place was filled with families, probably locals from Setagaya. We ordered the top scallion tongue salt (¥2500), lean sirloin (¥2300), rib cut (¥2000), kimchi rice, draft beer, and splurged on the special selected short rib (I won't forget the price of ¥4500). The scallion tongue salt was delicious, perfectly cooked with just the right thickness and freshness. The special selected short rib was like a delicacy with a refined fat content that melted in your mouth. The lean sirloin felt paper-thin without fat after the short rib, perhaps it should have been eaten in a different order. The rib cut was tasty with a good amount of fat. For dessert, we chose yuzu sherbet which was incredibly delicious. The service from the staff was polite and even surprising, they even wrapped us in paper aprons. The total bill came to around 18500 yen, with a gift certificate covering 20000 yen. I plan to use the remaining balance for lunch or another occasion. This is my first time at the Jyubei in Kyodo! It's located inside the Kyodo Corti. The interior of the restaurant is really clean and nice. Cheers with a glass of draft beer for 800 yen! *Jyubei Salad 750 yen - Light and delicious, but the portion is too small for 750 yen. *Grilled Salted Tongue with Green Onions 2800 yen - The dish is beautifully presented with flowers on the plate. The color of the tongue is amazing! Grilling it with the green onions in between keeps them from falling off. It's really delicious. We ended up ordering two plates. *Grilled Kalbi 2400 yen - The meat has a good flavor and tastes delicious. I'm not a fan of too much fat, so this amount of fat is just right for me! *Grilled Harami - Unlike the Kalbi, I might prefer a bit more marbling. But it's still delicious. *Thickly Sliced Lean Meat 2600 yen - Light and delicious. I could eat as much as I want. *Yukhoe (Korean-style Beef Tartare) 1700 yen - It's been a while since I had yukhoe, and it's delicious! But the amount for 1700 yen is a bit expensive! *Steamed Tail 1500 yen - This was quite disappointing. Just steamed tail with vinegar miso or salt to dip in. It's okay. *Yukhoe Jang Myun (Spicy Beef Tartare Noodles) 1300 yen - This didn't quite suit my taste. I was also quite full, so I left some. Meat is really delicious indeed. As expected from Jyubei. Recently, there's a trend of yakiniku restaurants that only serve marbled meat. In contrast, Jyubei sticks to classic dishes, which actually leaves a good impression on me as an older gentleman. I prefer lean, tasty meat. I can't eat fat anymore. The bill for two people was 27,000 yen. It's a bit expensive, but I'm satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

Sukiyaki restaurant group Seryo may be considered high-end, but I knew before visiting that I prefer smoky flavors over smokeless roasters. I love hormone dishes more than regular meat, so I decided to give it a try even though it wasn't my usual preference. However, I found the atmosphere and service to be a bit off-putting. I'm not sure if it's their manual or if they cater to demanding customers, but I don't think everything has to be handled with such formality. The cost performance is decent for Seryo, but I have no desire to visit again.

Seryo lunch is affordable for the general public. The price range to enjoy Seryo's meat is in the 2000-5000 yen range. Choosing the 5000 yen C lunch option is relatively cheap compared to ordering from the grand menu. The C lunch includes 3 pieces each of loin, kalbi, and tongue. Although the variety and quantity are more limited in cheaper lunches, it is still a good amount. In addition to meat, it also comes with kimchi, namul, salad, and soup, so you won't have trouble eating white rice. The volume here is quite substantial, especially in comparison to the meat. The meat is top quality, rich in fat, and goes well with the sauce. With just one piece, you can easily finish half of the rice. It may not be enough to make you full, but it is quite satisfying.

Of course, the food was good, but there are plenty of yakiniku restaurants that are even more delicious and reasonably priced. Especially for yakiniku lunch, there are many places where you can be satisfied for around 1000 yen, so I felt like there was no need to go out of my way to visit this place. If asked whether it's worth the price, I would say it's not worth it.

After work in Kyodo, I decided to go for a drink with a business partner at 【Jojoen】. It's near Odakyu Kyodo Station and has private rooms, making it convenient for entertaining or for smokers. We started with a toast with draft beer! We ordered thick-cut tongue with salt, white liver, and a selection of premium Japanese beef. The thick-cut tongue with salt was cooked well on both sides, leaving the middle rare. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Delicious! The tongue with salt alone was enough to satisfy. The beer was going down smoothly! The selection of premium Japanese beef included fillet, sirloin, and short rib, all marinated in sauce. We switched from beer to makgeolli. Being premium Japanese beef, it was also very tasty. Thank you for the meal.

Lunch meeting with hot pot lunch. The meat had a good thickness and juiciness, making it very delicious and satisfying for lunch. The rice was cooked just right. The service was also good, making the dining experience pleasant.

It had been a while since I last visited, but I was happy to see that a menu item similar to the thick-cut salted tongue that used to be available in the past has made a comeback.

I usually order the regular kalbi lunch and the salted green onion tongue. The salted green onion tongue was really delicious... but expensive. LOL

I ordered a variety of meats such as kalbi, loin, harami, and tenderloin, all costing around 3000 yen per serving. The cost performance is not great, but they provide delicious meat. I also recommend trying the motsu dishes, chijimi, bibimbap, and jjigae. I'm sorry I don't have any photos, but everything was delicious.

The meat is delicious! I only go to Jyuban'en for special occasions because it's expensive! I haven't been to other Jyuban'en restaurants, but the service and taste here are impeccable. The meat melts in your mouth. I hope I can go back soon!

The nearest Jyubei from my home is here, so I use this place for special occasions. The prices are quite high, but I think it's a yakiniku restaurant where you can savor happiness no matter what you order.

The staff are attentive and considerate. The entire restaurant is non-smoking and clean. I always order lunch and separately order the meat and bibim noodles. The meat in the lunch set is different. The bibim noodles are the best!

The kalbi is delicious.
