While it's common to warm the inside of the bread and then toast the surface before eating, I didn't want the butter to melt too much, so I only slightly warmed the surface. The bread had a slightly firm texture, with plenty of red bean paste and butter inside. The butter was soft, almost oozing out when held in hand. I savored the combination of red bean paste and butter, along with the chewy bread. It was a delicious meal.

The Kimuraya bakery is famous for their anpan. I have bought it several times at the Ginza main store in the past, but I haven't bought it in a while.
