There seems to be a restaurant in Minato-ku. It has a hidden gem vibe, where they choose their customers, but once you're chosen, you can be a bit picky. It's like a restaurant created by Naoki Fukushima. I love these kinds of restaurants. I've never lived in Minato-ku, but this restaurant is also like a Minato-ku restaurant. It used to be located a few hundred meters back, but a few months ago, it relocated and opened on top of a new building. I had heard good things about it even when it was at the previous location, but I was too scared to go in because it seemed like the type of place that chooses its customers. However, when I heard about the relocation, I visited cautiously. To cut to the chase, my worries were completely unfounded. I had a very enjoyable time, and everything I ordered was delicious. Truly Minato-ku.

At dusk in Asakusa, there is a cozy restaurant called "Masubu Jūban." Located on the third floor of a building near the eel restaurant Tokin, and the French restaurant Kuraaju, it has a clean interior with a sparkling kitchen. You can enjoy a course meal or order a la carte, and on this day, we opted for the latter. We had dishes such as green pea mousse, marinated horse mackerel with salsa mexicana, hokki clam macaroni salad, and grilled razor clam with root vegetables in cumin flavor. The French-style small plates were just the right size, and paired with delicious wine, we had a delightful time. The chef's meticulous work, combined with the sparkling kitchen, was lovely. I think the small French dishes made with seasonal ingredients and the tasty wine make it worth visiting again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The restaurant "Asabu Retoro" which had been in business for a long time, has moved to the same Azabu-Juban area. I had visited the previous location before, recommended by Chef Tsuchiya from Ebisu "Janus". This time, I visited the new location for a second time. The menu is a la carte, and I ordered a few items that caught my eye. - Live firefly squid marinated in Madeira wine - Butterbur sprouts - Shamo prosciutto - Ezo deer tataki - Nori seaweed scrambled eggs - Broccoli and clam dashi terrine with prosciutto - Chocolate mousse - Earl Grey tea tiramisu Even though it was my second stop, I couldn't resist trying many dishes, and they were all delicious! The wine selection was excellent, and I ended up ordering more. My favorite was the nori seaweed scrambled eggs, the creamy eggs paired perfectly with the texture of the seaweed. The dessert was the same as before, bringing back nostalgic memories. I look forward to visiting again in the future.
