It's common for system upgrades to cause issues at the beginning of the fiscal year, so normally I would avoid traveling during this time. However, I had no choice this time. On the 5th, the system seemed to be operating smoothly, and the airport didn't seem chaotic, but there were many people waiting, probably like me, worried about potential troubles and arrived early. Check-in could be done online, and I quickly went through security. 30 minutes before departure, I went to Starbucks. Compared to before the pandemic, it seemed like there were fewer dining options, so Starbucks was crowded. I ordered a small hot latte to enjoy while sitting on a sofa with a good view of the aircraft. The weather forecast predicts rain for 2 out of the 3 days of my trip, so I'm worried if I can visit all the places I want to, but for now, I'm excited for my first visit to Fukuoka in 35 years.

Starbucks at Haneda Airport. I hadn't had lunch yet, but I knew I would have dinner as soon as I got off the plane... So I decided to satisfy my hunger with a drink. I had rushed to the airport, and because I was going to Hokkaido, I was wearing thick clothes and feeling very hot, so even though it's this time of year, I ordered a Frappuccino. It had been so long since I had been to Starbucks that I didn't know what to order, so I just went with the Caramel Frappuccino (Tall size) that caught my eye. To make it more filling, I added chocolate chips and chocolate sauce. I used a 700 yen gift card to pay, and the staff told me that if it's 700 yen, I can still add more! They gave me various advice and I was impressed by their amazing service. In the end, I changed to almond milk, upsized, and used the 700 yen gift card to the limit to place my order. I thought it would be sweet because it's caramel, but it had coffee in it, so it was different from what I imagined. I should have researched it before buying it, but the staff was amazing and made me happy.

Recently, I often receive Starbucks gifts for my birthday! I receive so many that it's quite a calorie intake to use them all up haha. This time, since they were about to expire, I had my wife use them, and she ordered a Caramel Frappuccino! Before boarding the plane, we stopped by here. I downloaded PayPay because of a campaign offering a 100 yen cashback for using it as payment. Turns out, if you purchase through the Starbucks app, you can collect special stamps unique to each store. My son loves collecting these stamps, so we bought drinks and cookies through the app to gather them. With so many new services popping up, I get a bit flustered as I'm not good with technology, but the staff were kind and provided excellent service, which was a huge help. The muffin, when warmed up, was delicious.

When I saw the menu promoting "contactless payment," I was momentarily worried that cash might not be accepted. In these times, it's becoming more common for such payment methods to prevent infection, but it may be challenging for older people like me who are not good with technology. However, seeing a young woman clinking coins on the payment tray made me feel reassured.

At Haneda Airport Domestic Terminal 2 Starbucks, I had a light meal. I was torn between soba or udon, but since I was in an economy seat and didn't want to feel too full, I opted for a casual choice - a Starbucks hot sandwich. I chose the "Bacon Egg Hot Sandwich," which was heated up after purchase and served hot. The egg and bacon were seasoned with an original sauce, and the balance of flavors was just right. The packaging was also convenient, preventing the filling from spilling out. A great idea for a meal on the go! Starbucks never disappoints. Now, off to the west!

On weekend mornings, stop by here before boarding and head towards Gate 52 after passing through security. Get the Espresso Affogato Frappuccino in a Tall size for 570 yen + consumption tax. Unlike other sweet Frappuccinos, this one isn't too sweet, making it perfect for a morning drink with its coffee flavor. It was just right. Crunchy!

Haneda Airport is nice, there's even a Starbucks inside the restricted area. It's been a while since I had a Vanilla Latte with all the closures and takeout only options. I bought my usual hot drink to bring on board, not sure if they still offer drinks during the flight. Took off, gazed at the blue sky, sipped my coffee, dozed off, and waited for arrival. I don't like sweet things, but if you're like me and want to try a Frappuccino, I recommend this one!

I didn't know there was a Starbucks at Haneda Airport! This time, due to the typhoon, I arrived too early and was wandering around when I saw someone with a Starbucks cup. Oh! There's one inside too! I relaxed at the Starbucks near the boarding gate. However, the line was really long... I tried the Sweet Potato Gold Frappuccino for 580 yen. It was new! It had a sweet potato flavor, perfect for autumn! When I tried it, I was surprised - it tasted like "daigaku imo" (candied sweet potatoes)! I had received a Starbucks gift card for my birthday recently, so I decided to use it. This time, I ordered a Caramel S'mores Frappuccino (Tall, ¥590 + tax). I had been curious about it for a while, so my expectations were high. S'mores are basically chocolate and marshmallow sandwiched between crackers. In this drink, they are crushed and sprinkled on top of the Frappuccino, giving it a crunchy texture that I really enjoyed. The Frappuccino itself was sweet with caramel and creamy, making it a high-quality drink.
