I used this restaurant for a business dinner with a client. I have visited a few times before, but it had been a few years since my last visit. Every time I come here, I get excited about the appetizers, fresh sushi, and perfectly matched sake. Each dish is beautifully presented, almost too beautiful to eat. The ikura and akami sushi were particularly fragrant, and I feel like you can only taste them here. As for the sake, this time I tried the Raifuku and Matsumoto, which I especially liked. The sake had a white wine-like aroma, which was different from typical sake. I can't come here often, but I will definitely return. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I was able to have a delicious sushi lunch for 2,200 yen in volume 10. It is not expensive and has a quality that can be considered top-notch. It is a hidden gem located in the back alleys of Kanda.

Today, I changed my plans and decided to go to "Sushi Hashimoto." This restaurant requires reservations in advance, and you can only make a reservation for 2 people or more... It gives off the impression that it completely restricts solo diners. Since this rule applies for both lunch and dinner, solo diners can try their luck by going when the restaurant opens. Luckily, I was able to get a seat right away. Just a heads up, taking photos inside the restaurant is not allowed... This was my 10th visit. I ordered the "Nigiri 10 pieces" for 2,200 yen (tax included). Payment for lunch is cash only. In reality, the set included 10 pieces of nigiri and a roll. They had rare items like "Yokowa (baby bluefin tuna)" and "Seki Aji (horse mackerel)" as well. The variety of high-quality sushi you get for this price is definitely worth it. The only difference between the "Nigiri 8 pieces" and this set seems to be the number of pieces, so personally, I think the 10-piece set is better. One thing to note is that the vinegar in the sushi rice was quite strong. It adds a unique flavor, but I felt like it didn't quite match well with the fish, giving me a sense of discomfort. As mentioned earlier, the high entry barrier for solo diners and the noticeable difference in treatment between regular customers and newcomers create a sense of being an outsider. This didn't motivate me to try and overcome these obstacles.

[2022 Last Foodie Adventure! With a final greeting♪] Past posts can be found here → @matsu_stagram43 If you find a shop you're interested in, it's recommended to save it by clicking the ribbon icon in the bottom right corner & a like would boost Matsu's motivation♪ If you have any concerns about membership-related posts, feel free to DM me ( •ᴗ•) This day was the 2022 year-end party! My best friend arranged a private party at this shop they frequent!! Oh boy, it was so lively! I drank so much that I forgot to take notes halfway through, haha (well, I couldn't take notes because I was in no condition to do so, haha). At the beginning, we had some appetizers and snacks, but the speed at which we drank alcohol was unbelievable! It was December and I was in a period of reducing my weight, so I said I would refrain from drinking alcohol... until the party started, when everyone reminded me, "It's a year-end party, you know?" and I broke my limit ( ゚∀゚)・∵ブハッ!! Haha, after that, it was just drinking continuously♪ Before the sushi came out, I had already tried almost all the types of alcohol at the shop, haha. And this time, the content was quite special once again, and everyone was very satisfied!! Especially the tuna tasting comparison where we got to try various parts was memorable even when drunk⁽⁽ଘ( ˊᵕˋ )ଓ⁾⁾! Of course, the sushi was great, but this time, I was curious about the sake "Dai Shinshu" that my best friend had mentioned in their stories! Apparently, this is the only place in the Kanto region that serves it in this style♪ I had it right from the start, didn't I?! It was so easy to drink that I ended up drinking too much ( ゚∀゚)・∵ブハッ!! Haha, it's definitely one of my favorite shops. Thank you for the meal! @taro_98, thanks for organizing such a great party! And, already, we've entered February, but the posts for 2022 will end here! Thank you all for your daily support! I plan to change my posting style for 2023 and continue sharing, so I hope you'll continue to support me!! My goal for 2023 is to steadily work towards reaching 1,000 followers soon♪ But first, this weekend, I'll be giving my all at the Muscle Gate Kanagawa Tournament (*•̀ᴗ•́*)و ̑̑ Once it's over, all I can think about is what to eat next, haha. Well then, please continue to support the posts for 2023 as well!

【Sushi Hashimoto Kanda】 #SushiHashimoto ✨Kanda Day✨ It's been a little over a year since I started food hopping, and on this day, I visited this highly recommended restaurant by a friend I met at the very first community gathering. I had heard about this place being recommended since then, but it took me a year to finally visit... (I'm sorry... 🤦♂️) It's a proper sushi restaurant with a counter, and I was excited to go because of its great value for money. Here's what I had on this day: ✨【Appetizers】Grilled squid, assorted sashimi, chawanmushi with green seaweed, ankimo (monkfish liver) and karasumi (bottarga), hokkigai (surf clam), deep-fried sawara with dashi broth ✨【Sushi】Aori ika (bigfin reef squid), hirame (flounder), hagatsuo (skipjack tuna), akagai (ark shell), ▼maguro rush▼, akami (lean tuna), chu-toro (medium fatty tuna), hileshita hagashi (fatty tuna with rich marbling), saba (mackerel), buri (yellowtail) marinated, ebi (shrimp), anago (sea eel), miso soup, tamagoyaki (rolled omelette) On this day, I had the following drinks: Yamakawa Keio 2021 Winter, Yamagata Masamune Junmai Ginjo Omachi Nao-kumi, Sanchimori Harudashi Nama One bite of the grilled squid as the first dish was incredibly delicious! But the highlight was the maguro rush, where I got to compare various types of tuna! Each piece was absolutely perfect ✨ Especially the "hagashi" part was incredibly rich, sweet, and melted in my mouth, it was amazing! "Hagashi" is the part between the muscles of the tuna that is carefully peeled off. I saw it for the first time right in front of me, and I was amazed at how cleanly it was peeled off! And the climax was the all-inclusive maguro roll made with all those parts!... It's just a cheat code, it's so delicious! Of course, it's delicious! The phrase "if you can make it big, eat it in one bite" was true, and I took a bite in one go. (゚∀゚)・∵✨ It's the best! I don't want to talk for a while after the lingering taste ✨ It was a hearty and special roll that made me feel various flavors and tastes. It's quite large, so it might be difficult for women to eat in one bite. I focused on the impression of the maguro rush, so my description may have been biased, but every other sushi was also meticulously prepared and extremely delicious! They finish it off by grilling or adding final touches right in front of you, so the live feeling was even more pronounced. If you're interested, let's plan and go together! Whether we've just met, met for the second time, or even if we're at a family level, feel free to DM me 😂 Thank you for the meal! 3/3 #Kanda #KandaGourmet #KandaLunch #KandaSushi #SushiHashimoto #Hashimoto #GourmetActivities2022 #GourmetDetectiveSquad #KantoGourmetClub #FoodieGuy #FoodieUnrivaled #LookingForFoodieFriends #WantToConnectWithPeopleWhoEnjoyFoodHunting #WantToConnectWithFoodies #FlukeOfficialAmbassador #MatsuotoSushi

This restaurant offers exquisite dishes and sushi. They serve delicious seasonal ingredients, allowing you to enjoy the best flavors each season has to offer. Their courses feature plenty of tuna, including cuts you may not find at other restaurants (such as toro, hagashi, hirazuke, etc.). They also have a great selection of sake, so it's a must-visit for sake lovers too!

Lunch set of 10 pieces of sushi for 2000 yen (tax included). The sushi included squid, yellowtail, white fish, egg with fish roe, ark shell, tuna, button shrimp, sea urchin, medium fatty tuna, rolled sushi, and egg. Each piece was already seasoned, so there was no need to add soy sauce. The set also came with miso soup, which was delicious. The only downside was that they didn't explain the ingredients when serving, so I couldn't fully appreciate the different types of sushi. The atmosphere was quiet and calm, making it a good place for business lunches or entertaining clients.

They carefully prepare their dishes according to the season and ingredients. Each dish is truly delicious. I am impressed by the attention to detail in their cooking methods. They have a wide variety of drinks, allowing you to enjoy both the food and drinks. The interior of the restaurant is also beautiful. It is non-smoking, so you can further enjoy the food.

10 pieces for 2,200 yen, the cost performance is so good that it makes me anxious. The sushi is well-formed and if you're lucky, they might even serve uni in saltwater without using any seasoning.

I decided to have a rare sushi lunch in Kanda and found this restaurant on Tabelog. The exterior is calm and somewhat plain. It's the second restaurant from the main street, but without a sideways sign, it's easy to miss without a map on your smartphone. It's a modern way of opening a restaurant in the internet age. Inside, there is an L-shaped counter with 10 seats and a few table seats at the back. It's moderately calm, but the messy kitchen visible from the low counter and the short noren curtain is quite disappointing and doesn't match the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. The sushi itself is not bad. The rice is delicious, and the balance with the toppings is appropriate. It's not in the 2000 yen range, but has a quality one class above. When I tried striking up a conversation when ordering more, I found out that the chef is actually quite casual and friendly, talking a lot about fish and cooking methods despite his appearance. This made me understand that the messy kitchen is a reflection of the chef's focus on food, and in the end, I had a very comfortable and satisfying lunch. I'll definitely visit for a leisurely dinner next time.

A hidden gem sushi restaurant in Kanda. They offer lunch sets at 1000, 1500, and 2000 yen, following the tiers of Matsutake, Bamboo, and Plum. The taste of the sushi is impeccable.

This week, I had four banquets out of five days, so I was thinking of having a quiet lunch. When I think of a quiet lunch, I immediately think of soba or sushi, but on this first day of the four consecutive banquets, the meeting with my lunch friend in the morning ran a bit late, so we decided to use this sushi restaurant near the workplace. This restaurant actually had been closed unexpectedly when I visited last week during a tight lunch break. It opened in August 2017 at the site of the old Chinese restaurant "Ramen Chuka Touran" in Uchikanda 1-chome, which I often used as a favorite spot for casual Chinese cuisine. I'm not sure if the owner of the building is the same as the one from Touran. The appearance of the restaurant is very simple. It has a chic atmosphere, but there are no signs outside, so it's easy to overlook. The lunch menu consists of only three options: 1) Seafood Chirashi for 1,000 yen, 2) 8 pieces of nigiri sushi with rolls for 1,500 yen, and 3) 12 pieces of nigiri sushi with rolls for 2,000 yen. In addition, there seems to be a menu item called Seafood Bara Chirashi for 1,500 yen limited to 10 servings after 1 pm. I'm not sure how different Seafood Chirashi and Seafood Bara Chirashi are. When we entered the restaurant around 12:05, we only had three options to choose from. We entered the restaurant and found it to be very clean and neat. There were spacious L-shaped white wooden counter seats and two 4-person table seats in the back. There were about 4 customers at the counter seats. We sat at the counter seat closest to the back. There didn't seem to be any menus inside the restaurant, so we ordered from the menu displayed at the entrance. My lunch friend ordered Seafood Chirashi, and I ordered 8 pieces of nigiri sushi. The restaurant is run by a young master and two female staff members who manage the kitchen. It seemed like a family-run business. The master was busy cooking in the kitchen, but he had already prepared the orders for the previous customers, so we could see our orders being prepared in front of us. Although he was skillfully handling the knife and preparing the ingredients, there seemed to be some unnecessary movements. This was evident in the amount of time his hands spent touching the ingredients (there was a lot of back and forth). I'm not familiar with the sushi chef's style, but I think it's better to minimize the time his hands touch the raw ingredients. The slightly inefficient movements seemed to affect the serving time, and it took longer than expected to be served. After waiting for about 8 minutes, my lunch friend's Seafood Chirashi was served. My nigiri sushi was served afterwards, with two pieces of sushi at a time. The nigiri sushi included squid and saury, followed by clam and shirako, raw shrimp and yellowtail, sea bass and fatty tuna, and finally a tekka maki roll. The sushi itself was very delicious with good freshness of the ingredients. The size of the toppings was not large, but the refined taste of the sushi from a specialized store made me feel the difference. The miso soup was made with rock seaweed, which was quite ordinary. For me, I thought it was not bad to have authentic sushi from a sushi specialty store for 1,500 yen at lunch, but my lunch friend seemed slightly less satisfied compared to me. She mentioned, "There really is a difference in price," when comparing it to the Seafood Chirashi at "Eikichi," a sushi restaurant near the restaurant we visited last week. In short, she preferred Eikichi. Although the atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice, there may be some concerns about cost performance. It may not be suitable for casual gatherings with friends.

End-of-year lunch outing at a place that caught my eye as I passed by before. The appearance didn't seem like a typical lunch spot, but I mustered up the courage to go in. The chef greeted me while making sushi. There were three customers at the counter before me, two of them seemed to be on a business lunch. I sat in the middle. I saw a reviewer order the seafood bowl, so I decided to get the same. After serving the three customers and a parent-child pair, it was finally my turn. Another pair sat next to me, and it seemed like lunch service was ending soon. I couldn't take a picture of the seafood bowl being prepared in front of me, as I felt a bit shy. The miso soup arrived first, and then I got the okay to take a photo. The sashimi was fresh and delicious, with tuna, yellowtail, squid, cutlassfish, egg, and boiled baby sardines. The chirashi sushi felt like a luxurious lunch option, while still being accessible to everyone. I'm looking forward to trying their dinner menu, but I'm curious about the prices. When I finished and left, I noticed that the lunch sign had been taken down, signaling the end of lunch service. Thank you for the meal.
