Some say that people come here wanting to talk to Kyo-san because he is so cute like a mascot character! There are counter seats, private rooms for 5-6 people, and private rooms for around 10 people! This time, we rented out a private room for a birthday party. We had requested light snacks in advance, and they were incredibly delicious! The food menu was not something you would typically find at a bar, as shown in the images. You can also request the price and specific dishes in advance, which is very convenient. We also brought a cake from ete on this day! The owner, Kyo, is very cheerful and fun, so it's totally fine to drink alone here. If you're in Azabu-Juban, be sure to stop by this bar. There is a hidden bar in Azabu-Juban where top chefs from Minato-ku gather. Denom is a bar run by former Jumbo Shirogane restaurant manager, Kyoichiro Saito. I've been wanting to go there because I get along well with Kyo-san, but due to the unstable social situation, I haven't been able to go. I was thinking about what I could do for the restaurant. Then it hit me. I'll ask Kyo-san, who is good at cooking, to make a course meal at Denom. I quickly gathered Kyo-san's children's menu and made a reservation at the restaurant. Despite these difficult times, Kyo-san graciously accepted and is such a kind man. Even though the kitchen in the bar is small and the equipment is not fully equipped, Kyo-san prepared various dishes, which was impressive. The hospitality there is amazing. Of course, all the dishes were incredibly delicious. I wish they would sell the shrimp cutlet stew bun at convenience stores! Please, Ministop! I will continue to visit Denom in the future. It seems like it's better to make a reservation in advance if you want them to serve you a meal.

In July 2021, I got off at Azabu-Juban Station on the Tokyo Metro, walked out from exit 4, and found a shop called "DENOMu" in the basement of a building on Azabu-Juban Avenue. The owner, Kyoichiro Saito, used to be the manager of "Yakiniku Jumbo Shirogane" and I heard that they have a great selection of secret food menus, so I decided to visit. The shop had no reviews on Tabelog at the time of my visit. Upon entering the dimly lit shop and sanitizing my hands, I was greeted by Mr. Saito. I sat at the counter and ordered a Gin and Tonic, a Highball, some appetizers, 2 pieces of Shumai, and Cold Noodles for the finale. The Shumai was juicy and delicious, and the Cold Noodles were a simple yet tasty dish. The total bill, including a 5% service charge, came to a little over 6,000 yen. They also offer karaoke during regular business hours, making it a convenient choice for both solo diners and groups.
