This is a cafe that fans of Square Enix games like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest should visit at least once. The cafe features official merchandise and displays of high-quality figures that will get you excited. There are also collaboration menu items that you should definitely try. When you order a drink, you can buy an original stirrer, but you can't buy one if you order a set drink, so it's better to order drinks individually when you want the stirrer.

I ordered mango pancakes and watermelon frozen drink. The mango pancakes come with mango sorbet and mascarpone cream on top, surrounded by fresh mango, kiwi, and blueberries. The pancakes are thick and layered, providing a satisfying bite. The watermelon frozen drink is made with plenty of watermelon pulp, making it a refreshing drink that is perfect for the current season. Note: The end date for the limited summer menu is undecided.

A dome-shaped cafe located in Higashi-Shinjuku, a bit far from Shinjuku. I've never played Dragon Quest, but I was drawn in by the cuteness of the Slime and decided to visit. The Slime drink was wobbly and cute, and the pancakes were intricately designed and adorable. Even for those who haven't played Dragon Quest, it's enjoyable. Inside the cafe, there is a merchandise corner and an exhibition room, which is exciting to look at. It's great for dropping by for just a drink at the cafe. There are bar counters and table seats, and you can also enjoy alcohol at night. People who want to be healed by the cuteness of the Slime should definitely visit! I finally had the chance to visit this restaurant that I knew about but couldn't find the time to go. They had an alcohol menu, but I opted for a soft drink. There were a few menu items that caught my eye, but I decided to go for something classic with a Square Enix vibe. I'd like to try something different next time if I get the chance to go again.

I have visited a few times. For fans of Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy, this place is irresistible! I enjoy the seasonal Slime Pancakes, as well as taking photos with my favorite King Slime plushies without feeling out of place. The food is quite delicious too (excuse me, haha), which I also like. It's like getting good value for money when you support your favorite King Slime. Sometimes the cafe requires reservations for events, but if not, you can usually find a spot to relax. The cafe has a stylish white-themed interior and clean restrooms. There's also a merchandise shop attached, so you can easily spend 2-3 hours here.

I heard that there is a Square Enix cafe in Shinjuku, so I went there! This time, I ordered the Slime Pancake and the Jiggly Slime drink! It took quite a while for the order to come out, so when you visit, be sure to allow extra time! The pancakes and drinks were both very cute in appearance, and they tasted delicious too!

When you come here, you must try the slime pancakes. Overall, it's all about slime pancakes - they look great in photos and taste great too. However, there seems to be less energy here compared to before, and there aren't many people around. Are the staff motivated? Why are all the menu items served lukewarm? What's the difference in atmosphere compared to Akihabara? This is the headquarters, after all. The pancakes are cute. This is my second time having the slime pancakes. #SquareEnix #Headquarters #Cafe #DragonQuest #Slime #Pancakes #food #foodstagram #delicious #delistagrammer #tasty

I ordered the Legend of Zelda themed parfait from February 10th. For the drink, I chose the Slime Beth, which was a sparkling mango-flavored drink. The parfait started with a chocolate sword, which had a bitter taste. Inside the parfait, there were layers of tiramisu-style mascarpone, ice cream, and coffee jelly. The Slime Beth drink was refreshing and complemented the parfait well.

Concept cafe located behind the Square Enix headquarters. Just a 3-minute walk from Higashi-Shinjuku Station. The eye-catching oval exterior draws attention, and inside, to the left, there are figures for sale, creator signatures, and to the right, a souvenir corner. It's a must-visit for fans. There were many foreign customers, even on a weekday at 11:00 am when I visited. The cafe was half full, with about a third being foreigners. I was tempted by the slime pancakes, but opted for the Carbonara Cafe Latte for lunch that day. The slime latte art was adorable. While waiting for my meal, I explored the exhibition room and souvenir corner. There were plenty of Square Enix items to enjoy just by looking at them. It's a great spot for a casual tea or brunch. I look forward to coming back to buy the items I want when they are in stock. Thank you for the meal!

Square Enix's headquarters in East Shinjuku, a cafe called "Altonia." A slime appeared there! Not the "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" one, though. The cafe's exterior is cute, shaped like a round sphere. There is also a retail space inside the cafe where you can see slimes and Dragon Quest goods, and in the dark Square Zone room, there are Final Fantasy figures on display. I knew about Kingdom Hearts, but NieR: Automata is also from Square Enix! I was surprised when Square and Enix merged! Nintendo and Sony were in a war over the next-generation console, and Square quickly entered the PlayStation with FF7, foreseeing that the next-gen console would use CDs instead of ROMs. Enix had decided to enter Dragon Quest 7 on the Nintendo 64, causing confusion among kids on which console to buy. Then Square invited Enix to enter both consoles, and they both entered the PlayStation! Mario and FF & Dragon Quest became inseparable. Just when I thought they couldn't go back, they started appearing together in Mario Party! Peace was restored. I wonder if there will ever be a Mario RPG made by both Square companies.
- Cappuccino: 610 yen
You can choose between Dragon Quest or FF latte art! (Slime or Chocobo?)
Here it is! A cute Slime drawing! "Puru puru, I'm not a bad slime." Yeah, I'll enjoy drinking you! And then the Slime disappeared through the door of adventure. Last order is now earlier, so please be aware. 11:00-21:00 (FOOD L.O 20:00, DRINK L.O 20:30)
Other than me, the customers inside are mostly Chinese and Western travelers. Foreigners must be delighted here. They also sell games at the register. Thank you for the meal!

I decided to visit the Square Enix cafe in Higashi Shinjuku, as I have been a big fan of their games. It was a bit of a walk from Shinjuku, about 15 minutes on foot. I looked through the menu and decided to order the Slime Pancake (1340 yen) since I wanted to try something special. The taste was decent overall. The coffee was strong and paired well with the sweets. However, the elaborate design of the dish seemed to contribute to the price, so at 1340 yen, it felt a bit expensive for the taste. Nevertheless, the presentation of the food was as impressive as the interior, making it worth a visit for fans of Square Enix games. It was a bit of an adventure for me to have a high-end snack time in a special space 15 minutes on foot from Shinjuku Station. Thank you for the meal.

I saw the announcement of the Halloween limited menu and couldn't resist coming. I ordered the Slime Pancake Halloween Version 2022 and the Slime Mug Cup Latte Art Cappuccino. The Slime Pancake had three layers and was very satisfying. The cappuccino came in a mug that was shaped like slime and was very cute! *The Halloween menu is available until November 3rd.

I was able to make a reservation at this store in Shinjuku, so I decided to go check it out. It has a different atmosphere compared to the cafes in Akihabara. This store has more Square Enix goods on display. However, it seems like this cafe has fewer seats than the ones in Akihabara. From the menu, I ordered the Slime Pancake Coffee, Momo Puff Parfait, Hito Kui Bako Mini Sandwich, and Pudding Slime Lolly. They were decent to eat, but they seemed to focus more on the visual presentation rather than the taste.

The white egg-shaped building is the official cafe of Square Enix, famous for games like Dragon Quest. I ordered the Slime Pancake and the Pudding Slime (Angel Slime). The Slime Pancake has three layers and is very filling. The Pudding Slime is strawberry yogurt flavored and refreshing, very delicious. Currently, they have switched to a menu for the 10th anniversary of Dragon Quest Online. They also sell merchandise, making it a fun cafe to visit.

I visited around 3pm on a regular day. It's quite far from Shinjuku Station, so it's not too crowded. The exterior of the shop looks like a cute white sphere. Inside, they sell various game goods, and there are tape seats and counter seats in the eat-in area, although it's a bit small.
Slime Pancake - 1030 yen: It consists of three pancakes stacked in the shape of a slime. It comes with whipped cream, sliced bananas, and berries on the side, with two pieces of butter on a separate plate. The pancakes themselves are not very sweet, so they taste best with whipped cream. Eating it with various berries or bananas was delicious. It was a cute and delicious pancake with a dreamy atmosphere.
Purupuru Slime (Drink) Blue Hawaii Flavor - 590 yen: I couldn't resist ordering this drink with a blue Hawaii flavor to match the slime's color. It's a sweet soda with jelly inside, which was cute and tasty.

Located in Higashi-Shinjuku. I had to go to Higashi-Shinjuku for work and went to have tea with my colleagues. They have slime coffee and cocktails which are cute. It's a soothing space. There are also plenty of slime goods, and I ended up buying a slime plushie. I now want to collect other goods as well.

I went to Altonea in the annex of a building in East Shinjuku where Square Enix is located to eat cute slime pancakes (*´꒳`*). Is this place a hidden gem? Do Dragon Quest fans not know about it? Surprisingly, it's not too crowded (๑´ㅂ`๑) They also sell a lot of goods, so it seems like a good idea to go here with your kids on a day off!

Square Enix headquarters is located near Shinjuku Cultural Center. I went to a cafe that Dragon Quest fans would love. I had a Slime latte art! So cute♪ The place is like a counter bar. People of all ages and genders gather there, and I realized that Dragon Quest is loved by everyone. You can also buy a lot of goods there.

The unprecedented boom of Dragon Quest has arrived. So I went to the official Enix shop. It was a weekday afternoon, so the shop was pleasantly empty. I ordered the Slime Pancake and drink set for 1,310 yen. The coaster was either Dragon Quest or Final Fantasy, I'm not sure. You can choose. Of course, I didn't put the drink on top to take it home. I usually have low expectations for these amusement-type meals, but the pancakes here were delicious! They were fluffy and moist, with a mild sweetness. The iced coffee also had a bitterness that I liked. You can also drink alcohol at night. I want to try the potion-inspired cocktails! The interior was decorated in a Christmas theme and looked beautiful. If you're a Dragon Quest fan, be sure to visit at least once.
