りん!
I was a little disappointed because it didn't live up to my expectations. I was looking forward to it after reading the reviews, but when I tried it, the meat seemed to lack flavor, not even a hint of aroma. It wasn't gamey, but it also didn't have much taste. It felt too bland, almost like I couldn't tell what kind of meat it was. I prefer horse meat dishes that are cooked with a bit more flavor. The plum wine, even on the rocks, I was hoping for a richer taste but it felt a bit weak. And the soy sauce, they served a sweet soy sauce which is supposed to be authentic, but I found that the regular soy sauce actually paired better. The sweetness of the soy sauce overpowered the taste of the horse meat. With my high expectations, I found the lack of flavor in both the alcohol and the meat to be disappointing, making me question if the price was a bit too high. If this is the authentic taste, then maybe I should reconsider my Kyushu trip. It's strange that it's hard to get in without a reservation. The horse sashimi at a local izakaya near my house had much more flavor and was delicious, so I was planning to spend around 10,000 yen if it was good, but I ended up leaving after about an hour feeling let down. I tried the lean meat, harami, heart, medium fatty tuna sashimi, horse sashimi carpaccio, seared foie gras, and two glasses of plum wine. For those who can't eat horse meat with any hint of gamey taste, this might be recommended. However, the service was excellent, and the manager and the hostess are working hard, so I hope they continue to improve and make the restaurant even better. Keep it up.
