Lumine store opens at 11:00, so I lined up in front of the door and dashed in as soon as it opened. There were already about 5 groups of customers ahead of me. The restaurant was still empty, so when I told them I wanted to dine in, they seated me right away. I ordered the lunch set with a BLT sandwich, milk tea, and half Tiramisu for dessert. The sandwich had thick slices of bacon, crispy lettuce, and tomato sandwiched between two slices of bread about 6 pieces thick. Embarrassingly, it was my first time eating a sandwich with a fork and knife. It was very filling, and I think even adult men would be satisfied with the portion. It was crowded due to the long weekend and the restaurant's popularity, so it took about 40 minutes from ordering to start eating. But since they had informed me in advance that it would take some time, I could wait with excitement. (They mentioned that they could serve cakes and drinks immediately, but for food orders, it would take time.) There were no children in the restaurant, so I think it would be difficult to bring kids. There was some chatter, but it was not noisy, making it a relatively quiet place. If you want to enjoy a peaceful meal, I recommend this place. You can also choose cakes from the showcase. They have 2-4 types of limited edition cakes, so why not give it a try? The cakes are quite big, so they are very satisfying to eat.

I purchased cakes for takeout. Blueberry cheesecake tart for 1150 yen, baked cheesecake for 800 yen, lemon yogurt cake for 830 yen. I also bought a paper bag for 50 yen. The interior of the restaurant is stylish and appealing to women. I ordered the lunch set, which included a croque-monsieur and a wild strawberry cake. I think I made a wrong choice with the croque-monsieur - it was quite salty with the double dose of ham and cheese. I managed to eat it by wrapping it in the salad lettuce. However, I gave up halfway. The cake, although in a half-size portion, was just right for me as I'm not a fan of whipped cream. It was delicious. I also enjoyed the organic coffee. This place might be good for having tea.

I met up with my friend in Ikebukuro and had lunch at HARBS. I was very satisfied with the taste for 2000 yen. I have used this place several times before, but my friend said it was their first time. The BLT sandwich was very voluminous, and my friend was surprised. The bacon was overflowing, making it difficult to know where to start, and the salad was also delicious as always. We had a very enjoyable time, and it was great.

When you feel like eating delicious cake, this is the place to go! There are often shortages, so sometimes you can only order about half of the menu, but if you happen to be able to order what you want, consider yourself lucky. All the cakes are voluminous and very satisfying. It's somehow nice that they are served in pots, so I always order hot tea. I visited for lunch on a weekday! This is a shop that always has a line no matter when you go. It was perfect timing before another appointment, so I lined up in front of Lumine's door 5 minutes before opening and went in. Even though it was a weekday, most of the people waiting for Lumine's opening seemed to be drawn into Harbs. The reassuring popularity of this stable shop~♪ I shared a croque-monsieur and BLT lunch set with a friend, and both were delicious with a perfect balance of vegetables, sauce, and cheese, and a refreshing salad on the side. While enjoying the melted cheese, I felt guilty but with plenty of salad, I thought it was okay and ended up eating it all. The cake was half size, and the drink was different from the usual cake order as you couldn't get a refill (not a teapot), but I was very satisfied with a full stomach. Personally, I recommend having the drink after the meal, as drinking it beforehand might make you finish it before the meal arrives and feel a bit unsatisfied.

Met a friend in Ikebukuro to grab some tea after finishing errands, so we headed to Harbs. We arrived around 2:15 PM and there were about 10 groups lined up from the entrance to outside the shop. Harbs is still pretty crowded everywhere, it seems. I thought we might have to wait a while, but surprisingly, we were seated in about 10-15 minutes. The turnover seems to be pretty good here. All four strawberry cakes were already sold out, so we ordered the Strawberry Milk Crepe and Manhattan Blend. It took longer for the cakes to arrive than the time we spent waiting in line. We waited quite a bit. The cakes here are really big and delicious, just like I remembered from about 5 years ago when I visited Aichi on a business trip. The strawberries were chunky and added a nice texture, making it really tasty.

Every time I go to HARBS, I always go for the lunch menu from 11am to 3pm because it's a great deal! Sometimes, the BLT Croque Monsieur is sold out, so I end up getting just the omelette. Today, it seems like everything is available. The cakes were mostly sold out, which was a bit disappointing. For lunch, I always get the BLT set, and today's half-size cakes were chocolate, with options for Sakura mousse cake and chestnut cake. My husband got the strawberry cheesecake, and after waiting for 30 minutes, it was definitely worth it. The sandwiches are delicious when eaten slowly with a fork and knife. I will definitely go back!

The other day, I had the opportunity to go to Tokyo, so I lined up for the lunch set menu and after waiting for about 15 minutes, I was seated at a lovely table by the window. If you could see the photos, I think you would understand the atmosphere and the deliciousness of the food.

[HARBS] A cafe in Ikebukuro. Located in Lumine Ikebukuro, this cafe always has long lines. The standout feature of HARBS is definitely the size of their cakes. The showcase filled with whole cakes of unbelievable size is truly a sight to behold. A must-visit for those with a sweet tooth. I indulged in HARBS with the following: Strawberry Chocolate Cake, Banana Cream Pie, and Iced Coffee. The slices served were several times larger than usual. Although some items were sold out due to closing time, I was so fixated on HARBS that I had to go for it. The Strawberry Chocolate Cake had a perfectly balanced sweetness, not overly cloying, with a refreshing taste. Despite the size, I devoured it in no time. The Banana Cream Pie, with its rich custard and sweet banana flavor, was to my liking. Compared to the Strawberry cake, it was sweeter and had a more substantial texture, making me feel satisfied after just one slice. As a lover of sweet treats, I was captivated by the size first and foremost. Despite the crowded lines, I would love to come back for more when the opportunity arises. The atmosphere, service, and food at this restaurant are always satisfying. Their lunch set menu includes a plate with a choice of 3 types of eggs, bread, and salad, along with cake and a drink, which is very stylish, delicious, and great value for money. However, there is always a long line before opening, so it may not be suitable for those with limited time. If you really want to try it or must eat there today, I recommend lining up 20 minutes before opening to secure a good seat with the first group of customers. (The first group can choose their preferred seats in order) Also, I highly recommend getting their cakes for takeout! The large slices of cake may look simple, but they offer a satisfying and delicious taste.

When you come here, the only choice is the milk crepe. I once regretted eating other cakes and not choosing the milk crepe, so now I only order the milk crepe. For children, I recommend the apple juice. It has solid apple juice ice cubes inside and is rich and delicious.

However, all the cakes are very large but not too heavy, and you can easily finish them until the last bite because they are so delicious! The Chestnut Tart is filled with plenty of cream but it's not too sweet or heavy, and it's really delicious! The Milk Crepe is filled with lots of fruits and looks luxurious, although the taste can be overshadowed by the melon (lol). The chocolate cake has a fluffy sponge and is very tasty. Despite being very busy, the staff are polite and attentive.

This is one of my favorite cake shops♡ I always see a line there. My favorite is the milk crepe, but all the cakes are really delicious. The limited edition cakes are also tasty, and the chiffon cakes are delicious too. The visual of the glass cakes with large whole cakes displayed is really dreamy. I visit this shop many times.

I love milk crepes and have eaten them many times. The melon cake is also delicious, and I find myself coming back several times during this season. Today they were sold out, so I had the fruit cake instead, which was also delicious. You can also get refills on coffee, making it a great place to spend time.

I came to Herbs at Ikebukuro Lumine. This is my fourth post. As usual, I waited in line for about 20 minutes and finally got inside. This time, I ordered the seasonal fruit cake, which was filled with plenty of fresh fruits between the layers of cake and cream. It was delicious with the mildly sweet whipped cream. I also tried the iced milk coffee, and I was glad that it didn't become too diluted even after the ice melted. It was a leisurely and elegant tea time.

I went around 3pm on a weekday! There was no line at that time and I was smoothly guided to my seat. I ordered milk tea and mille-feuille. The cake was much larger than I had imagined, which surprised me haha, but once I started eating, it wasn't heavy and I finished it in no time. It had a lot of fruits in it and was very delicious!
