One of the daily specials. Sichuan-style Braised Beef Tendon! The "Sichuan-style" seemed very spicy. I ordered a "large serving" because I was worried the rice wouldn't be enough. The beef tendon was tender and full of flavor. Thank you for the meal!

Located in front of Anamori Inari Station. At 12:50 on a weekday, there were 5 customers already seated on the 1st floor tables and tatami area. The 2nd floor allows smoking. I ordered the authentic Mapo Tofu set meal from the lunch menu. Prices on the menu are excluding tax. The Mapo Tofu was delicious, with a normal level of spiciness. Despite being labeled as authentic, it lacked the strong punch of Sichuan pepper that I prefer. The portion was smaller than expected, and I ended up with leftover rice. If there is one nearby, it may be a good option for everyday dining due to the variety of menu options available.

In the area around Anamori Inari Station, where high-quality Chinese cuisine is available, there is a particularly eye-catching restaurant. I visited during the evening, and inside the restaurant, there were groups of salarymen who seemed to have just finished work. I pondered over what to order while asking the staff for recommendations, and they immediately suggested the "Mapo Tofu". I was seated on the 1st floor, while the kitchen was on the 2nd floor, and we communicated our orders through a phone. I decided to order the Mapo Tofu with a spicy level and asked for extra rice. The Mapo Tofu that arrived had a distinct spicy flavor, which I further enhanced by adding a bit of vinegar. The extra rice I ordered was not enough, so I got a refill for an additional 100 yen. The combination of the Mapo Tofu and the egg soup was excellent. Anamori Inari is definitely a place with high-quality Chinese cuisine!

Mapo ramen + half-fried rice for 780 yen. Also ordered gyoza, menma, and bottled beer. This is a revisited review with just an update. Good: They have a variety of set meals that are cost-effective. There are small box seats available, so you can relax even if you're dining alone. Bad: I'm not sure about the individual dishes, but at least the fried rice in the set meal is more like pilaf than stir-fried. It feels more like a food court than a Chinese restaurant.

Stir-fried shrimp and asparagus, Ota Ward's famous winged dumplings, spring rolls, sand liver and cucumber salad, shrimp chili and egg set meal, mapo tofu soba half-fried rice set meal, all for 780 yen - good! Convenient location in front of Anamori Inari Station, authentic Chinese cuisine at a low price. If the small table seats on the first floor are available, you can enjoy drinking alone in your own space. Smoking allowed (may be different during large holidays). It takes time from ordering to serving, and the Chinese beauty waitress running back and forth between the first and second floor is admirable, but it can be tiring to hesitate to ask for things or make additional orders.

I got off at the station in the daytime and headed to meet my client. Today was just a meeting, so I planned to finish by 4 pm and head back by 6 pm. It was cold today, so I wanted to go home quickly and decided to go to Anamori Inari Station. However, I hadn't eaten lunch, so I felt like Goro-san from "The Lonely Gourmet" saying, "I'm hungry." I saw a lot of pictures of set meals on the signboard in front of the restaurant near the station, so I decided to go in. But when I entered, the staff told me they don't serve set meals at night. I was disappointed. The set meals cost around 700 yen and included dishes like sweet and sour pork and leek liver. I looked at the menu and ordered vermicelli noodles. I wondered where the kitchen was located. There were also seats on the second floor, and some guests were going up for a party. I stayed there from 6:15 pm to around 7:40 pm, and three groups of customers came in. The vermicelli noodles were delicious with plenty of ingredients, and the taste was light. They also served egg soup, which had a light taste with a hint of ginger. The prices were reasonable, so I plan to try it for lunch next time.

I decided to try this place because it always smells delicious. I ordered the Sanratan noodles. They had a nice touch of vinegar and the portion was large, but I managed to finish it all. It also came with half fried rice for around 700 yen, and the fried rice was delicious too. The cost performance was good.

For some reason, only a bland fried rice came out at the end. I wanted to eat it with sweet and sour pork... I think the fried chicken was frozen. Won't be coming back.

A restaurant that was close by but we hadn't visited before. My husband and I went there at night, and it was delicious! The water was filtered properly, and the interior was clean since it had been renovated. The tableware was also clean, which is rare for a Chinese restaurant. The dumplings had crispy edges, and all the dishes were flavorful but not too strong. It's a taste we could enjoy several times a week. The set menu was reasonably priced, so this restaurant quickly became a convenient choice for us. We definitely want to go back.

A minute's walk from Keikyu Kamata Inari Station ticket gate, or maybe 30 seconds, there is a small restaurant. The first floor only has a kitchen and a counter with seating for 7-8 people, but the second floor has table seating and seems to be the main dining area. As a solo diner, I chose to sit at the counter. I ordered the affordable "beer set" listed on the sign at the entrance. It included gyoza and a draft beer for 750 yen, if I remember correctly. I forgot to take a picture, so my memory is a bit fuzzy. First, the draft beer arrived, likely Kirin brand. Shortly after, the gyoza came out, and they were huge, with wings attached. Winged gyoza used to be unique to the Kamata area, but now it's becoming a popular soul food in southern Ota Ward. The gyoza at this restaurant was quite good, with a chewy skin and juicy filling that was not too strong in flavor. Perhaps the chef trained in the competitive Kamata area before opening this place? It seems like both the kitchen and the dining area are managed by Chinese staff. While there are many traditional Chinese restaurants in the Kamata Inari area, there are few authentic Chinese restaurants suitable for everyday dining, so this place has the potential to become very popular with the right approach.

The station is just a 10-second walk away. The first floor has a counter, while the second floor has table seating. I decided to go to the second floor. I tried the all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink option for 4000 yen. While high-end ingredients like Peking duck and shark fin are not included, you can choose anything you like from the grand menu, which is fun. The dishes come up from the kitchen elevator connecting the first and second floors, which is convenient. There is also draft beer and the service is fast, so no stress. Now, a brief review of the dishes. The water dumplings, pan-fried dumplings, and soup dumplings on a hot plate were delicious. They were juicy and piping hot. The shrimp chili had a different taste from the usual store-bought mix, with a spicy seasoning. The garlic in the stir-fried water spinach is quite strong, but it's a must-have as one of the few vegetable dishes. The pickled mustard greens flavor was weak. The fried rice was okay, but not as good as expected. There were also typical izakaya dishes like edamame scattered here and there. If you're looking for dinner near this station, Ononume is a good choice.

I'm not particularly good with Chinese cuisine in general, but I took my friend to this restaurant where the chefs, waiters, and staff all spoke good Japanese (lol). I didn't really understand the menu, but we ordered the classic shrimp chili and my favorite dish, liver with garlic chives. My friend was curious about the pork tongue shrimp chili, which was spicy, just like the liver with garlic chives. We ordered a few other dishes, but everything was spicy because it's Sichuan cuisine. I thought there would be flavor within the spiciness, but it just felt like a spicy Chinese dish. The banquet was cheap, but I think I'm good with it on a personal level.
