I arrived at the seafood izakaya Rinbi Shinjuku Honten in no time, just a minute's walk from Seibu Shinjuku Station. The building was impressive, with 4 floors from B1F to 4F and a total of 340 seats, including private rooms for 2 people and versatile spaces for various events. I was guided to a cozy private room with a sunken kotatsu table, giving off a tranquil vibe. The special Rinbi course I chose for 5000 yen with all-you-can-drink included was delightful. From premium yuba and uni to succulent toro and fresh seafood, each dish was a delight. The duck and negi skewers, simmered turnips with chicken soboro, and crab and ikura clay pot rice were all luxurious and delicious. The meal was not only delicious but also elegant and enjoyable, making it perfect for gatherings with friends or business meals. I was so impressed that I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

On Saturday, I went to a restaurant to try the luxurious Rinka course, which includes black wagyu beef, a selection of 5 kinds of sashimi, seasonal tempura, and their famous hot pot rice, all totaling 9 dishes. The course also comes with a 2-hour all-you-can-drink option. Honestly, it's quite difficult to find a really good restaurant in Shinjuku, so I didn't have high expectations and just thought it would be an average private room restaurant with a score of 3.3. The entrance was a bit confusing without an elevator, but the staff were kind and helped me find my way. They promptly brought me a hot towel and the service was good, probably because there weren't many customers at the time. As for the course menu, nothing tasted bad, but nothing stood out as exceptionally delicious either. The appetizers were okay, the sashimi was good, the beef dish was cold, the vinegar dish was forgettable, the simmered dish had a strong flavor, the tempura was cold (timing issue perhaps), the rice dish was with firefly squid (didn't notice it), the soup was fine, and the dessert was seasonal fruits. The location is close to the station, with private rooms and a good value for money if you order the course menu with the all-you-can-drink option. However, if you want to have plenty of conversations, ordering individual items might be better as the course dishes come quite quickly.

It was a gathering at a drinking party. We used a private room this time, and it was a place where a large number of people could use it. We visited here for the 4000 yen all-you-can-drink course. The menu included: - Tofu appetizer - Prosciutto salad - Assorted sashimi (5 kinds) - Pork marinated in miso - Deep-fried wheat gluten in sweet miso sauce - Rice with dried small fish Overall, the drink service was a bit slow at first, but when we pointed it out, they started bringing them out promptly. Since it was the cheapest course with all-you-can-drink, the portion size was a bit small. I think the quality of the food was decent. It would have been nice to have one more appetizer or some fried food. If that's difficult, having pickles at the end would be appreciated. Thank you for the meal.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there were no people around. Among the restaurants I have visited recently, this one had the best safety measures in place. When I ordered a sashimi platter, they surprised us with a complimentary hand roll set, which was so amazing that my friends and I couldn't help but laugh. The sashimi was thickly sliced, fresh, and incredibly delicious.

The signboard is large and easy to see in a prominent location. It was my first visit. The restaurant has four floors from the basement to the fourth floor!! When I climbed the stairs, someone was there to greet me right away. Inside the restaurant, there was a spacious showcase with fresh fish, and we were led to a private room on the fourth floor. The traditional Japanese-style decor made me forget that I was in Shinjuku, with partitions and a calm tatami room. For the meal that day, I chose the recommended dishes. The menu had been renewed from April 1st, and I was disappointed that a dish I was curious about was not available, but they surprised me by bringing out the "dancing shrimp" that I had been curious about ✨ They put the shrimp to sleep in ice water and alcohol to keep it fresh before eating it in one bite. It was delicious!! It takes some courage as they are still moving. They also brought the fried shrimp heads! - The appetizer was a mozuku seaweed jelly. - Black wagyu beef tataki topped with sea urchin. - Assorted tempura of spring mountain vegetables (lily bulbs, butterbur sprouts, warabi ferns, udo, and taranome). - Grilled salted sea bream. - Assorted sashimi platter with 4 kinds. - Crab and salmon roe clay pot rice. Everything was delicious!! The clay pot was hot with a crispy bottom, making it even more delicious. The seafood aroma was gentle, and the salmon roe added a nice touch to match with the crab. The sea bream was surprisingly large with plenty of fatty meat and a plump texture. Since it's not easy to eat this kind of fish regularly, I would definitely want to come here whenever I crave seafood. The fish is fresh, and you can relax in a private room, so I highly recommend it.

Today, we had a girls' party with two older sisters and one cute girl, totaling four people! Here are the dishes we ate today: - Seasonal assorted sashimi (5 kinds) ¥2530 - Local kinmedai sea bream shabu-shabu ¥1980 - Rolled omelette ¥660 - Mushroom butter soy sauce grilled ¥620 - Black wagyu beef tataki with sea urchin on top ¥980 - 6-piece set of tsukune and imo-buta skewers ¥1680 - Plum crystal ¥620 - Grilled asparagus with egg yolk butter ¥880 - Live large white clam ¥420 One of the older sisters has a shellfish allergy and is not good with seafood... so the stance was that everyone could eat what they liked. The restaurant kindly went out of their way to separate the dishes, showing true kindness. The taste was of course amazing! The staff even warned us that the dish had sea urchin on top. They were really kind! 😄

Visited the seafood izakaya "Rinka" at 4:30pm on a weekday, after seeing their Instagram post on kose_i1218. It was amazing to see that the entire building, except for the first floor, was occupied by Rinka. Even in the 4:30pm on a weekday, the restaurant had quite a few customers. I ordered Takachiyo Momoh Label sake, Menuke sashimi, fresh oysters, grilled Choshi direct delivery Hamaguri, natural blowfish shirako, domestic cod shirako tempura, black wagyu tataki topped with sea urchin, and golden eye snapper kabuto. Started with a glass of Takachiyo Momoh Label sake and then a variety of luxurious seafood dishes were served in front of me. The blowfish shirako was exquisite, and the simmered golden eye snapper was so tender that you could eat everything except the bones. The rich flavor of the fish and the sauce in the simmered dish paired well with both sake and rice. Highly recommend Rinka, the seafood izakaya!

I heard that there is a seafood restaurant in Shinjuku that is loved by many, so I decided to visit. The restaurant is quite large, and you can choose your seating based on the number of people and your relationship with them, which is great. Since there were two of us, we opted for a private room in a Japanese-style setting. The private room was very calming. When we pressed the call button, a staff member came right away and explained the recommended dishes and menu items to us. Before reaching the private room, we encountered several staff members, all of whom were polite and greeted us properly. I was in the mood for seafood, so I ordered the seasonal sashimi platter with five types of fresh fish. It was a generous portion, and the fish was delicious. Despite the appearance, the portion was quite filling, and I was satisfied after just that. The recommended dish of live octopus and fresh new wakame served shabu-shabu style was refreshing, with a nice chewy texture from the octopus and the freshness of the wakame standing out. The luxurious platter of two types of meat sushi and the flavorful grilled new bamboo shoots were also delicious. I'm looking forward to trying some sake next time, along with the recommended squid dish.

I visited my favorite restaurant, Rinbi, and enjoyed my favorite dishes once again! It's my third visit already. I usually choose from the daily recommendations, as the menu is quite extensive and fun to explore. I had the limited quantity Kinmedai Kabuto simmered dish, which was flavorful and the fish was tender, I finished it in no time! The tempura white fish roe was large and creamy inside, truly delicious. The Hamaguri clams were fresh and delivered directly from Choshi, allowing us to savor their rich flavor with each bite. The Wagyu beef tataki topped with fresh sea urchin is my favorite dish that I order every time. When mixed with the Japanese-style sauce below, it creates an elegant and delicious flavor. The foie gras with ponzu sauce was thick and when eaten with grated radish and special ponzu jelly, it was exquisite! For the finale, we had a crab and salmon roe hot pot rice. The rice was infused with a rich broth, making it delicious on its own. The chunks of crab meat were luxurious, and mixing in the salmon roe made it even more delightful! The restaurant was packed and the staff seemed busy, but the service was still excellent. It might be a good idea to make a reservation on weekends. I definitely want to visit again!

Good evening! I had dinner at the seafood izakaya "Rinka Shinjuku" tonight. It's a huge restaurant with 380 seats, including private rooms. The place was bustling and popular. I started with a grapefruit sour, freshly squeezed and refreshing. The appetizer of yuba was luxurious. The cream cheese with sake lees was a great snack to go with drinks. The sashimi platter was gorgeous and the tuna was especially fresh. The meat sushi platter with Yamagata beef and horse meat was delicious. The tempura platter with sweet potato, smelt, and two prawns was crispy and tasty, served with dipping sauce and grated daikon. The prawns were juicy and well-fried. I also tried two desserts: homemade rich pudding and a vanilla ice cream daifuku. Both were delicious. The restaurant offers a wide variety of fish from Choshi, and the atmosphere is upscale and comfortable. It's conveniently located near Seibu Shinjuku Station. Check it out!

The shop was located about 5 minutes from the JR station, so the access was good! When I mistakenly went downstairs, I found a large banquet hall that can accommodate about 120 people! Looking at the menu, I was surprised by the variety of seafood dishes. When I asked for recommendations, they suggested a sashimi platter and white fish milt with ponzu sauce. My friend chose the tempura, which they had been wanting to try. The freshness of the sashimi was outstanding! To complement the meal, I also ordered a clay pot rice with sea bream and sea urchin, which was delicious! It's a great way to end the meal with rice! Especially the sashimi was delicious. It was a bit noisy in the tatami room, but we still enjoyed our conversation. There are non-tatami seats as well, so next time I want to drink in a different seat.

Live oyster and sea urchin sashimi platter (¥2980), dancing eating of carabineros shrimp (¥400 per piece), grilled head salted sea bream (¥680), shirako with ponzu sauce (¥1380), live horse mackerel sashimi (¥780), and other dishes like butter sautéed eringi mushrooms and soup with fish head. Everything was fresh and of a decent quality! Personally, I enjoyed the sweet and delicious sea urchin, and the experience of dancing eating the shrimp was quite unique and fun! If I had to nitpick, I wish the portions were a bit more generous for the price.

Tonight, we had a little gathering in Shinjuku! Asuka joined us for the second round due to work commitments! We arrived at the building and were excited to see fresh seafood inside the restaurant! What's the reservation name? Oh, it's in the underground banquet hall! A whole building dedicated to a restaurant in Kabukicho, Shinjuku is quite impressive! I don't usually drink in Shinjuku Kabukicho, so I didn't have high expectations for the 3000 yen second round course. Let's see how it goes! We started with sesame tofu as a complimentary dish, which paired well with bottled beer. The salad was colorful with chrysanthemum flowers and had a unique texture with seaweed and white radish. The sashimi platter included tuna, yellowtail, and red snapper, although it seemed a bit pre-cut. The grilled chicken with cheese sauce was tasty, but despite hearing someone mention uni, it was just cheese. The fried dish had fish paste inside, but my memory is a bit fuzzy. The mixed rice was like someone made onigiri for us. As for the all-you-can-drink beer, it was only bottled for the first round, then served in pitchers. Overall, it was a good experience with a private banquet room and easy access to drinks. Oh, and the ramen at the end? Asuka is on a low-carb diet, so she bid us farewell and didn't partake in that! (laughs)
