In the food court at Haneda Airport International Terminal, there is a tempura bowl restaurant. I ordered the Tower Tempura Bowl, which is their specialty, along with a beer. It took a little time, but when my buzzer went off, I went to pick it up. The portion was generous, with a crispy batter that was delicious. The pumpkin was a bit too big, but overall it was tasty. Thank you for the meal!

Tempura is really delicious when it's freshly fried. The problem is that not many people probably come specifically seeking out such amazing tempura, so the pricing seems more like New York or London level. It's a food court after all... Also, despite having a breakfast menu and customers deliberating over it, it's questionable to not introduce it and instead push for the regular menu order.

I have been traveling overseas a lot lately, and tonight I am at Haneda Airport again. Before boarding, I decided to grab a light drink at the food court, but the sushi restaurant I wanted to go to was closed for cleaning, so I ended up at the restaurant next to it. As you can see in the photo, the main menu is tempura bowls, but they also have a variety of appetizers listed, and alcohol starts at 500 yen, which is quite cheap for an airport. I ordered a set of three tempura items, edamame, and a highball. The highball is probably made with Black Nikka whiskey. The total was 1400 yen. The tempura included shrimp, smelt fish, and pumpkin, all of which had a nice texture and tasted delicious. The food was well-prepared and not cold like in typical food courts, which I appreciated. The edamame was just edamame, but at 400 yen, it was a great deal for airport snacks, and if you skip the tempura and just have this and a highball, it would be less than 1000 yen, which is impressive. Until I reach a point where I can relax in airline lounges through mileage runs, I might just enjoy some cheap drinks here.笑

That day, I really wanted to eat tendon, so I had it at Haneda Airport just before leaving the country. You order and then go pick it up yourself. It's great that it's open 24 hours. It's located on the 3rd floor of Terminal 3 at Haneda Airport International Terminal in TOKYO SKY KITCHEN. Thank you for the meal.

Located in the food court after the departure inspection at Haneda Airport International Terminal. I ordered the Tempura Donburi at Hanazen for 1130 yen. It was ready in about 4 minutes. The bowl was packed with shrimp, squid, egg, chicken, pumpkin, eggplant, and more. The tempura was freshly fried and quite delicious. It's also great that you can enjoy it with tsukemen from Rokurinsha.

I visited "Tempura Sakitei Haneda Airport Store" in the food court TOKYO SKY KITCHEN on the 3rd floor of Haneda Airport International Terminal in early June before leaving Japan for the first time. I believe this store used to be a curry shop. First, you order and pay at the register. The menu had a "Tower Tempura Bowl" where shrimp tempura stands tall like a tower, but it was over 2000 yen. Hmm, I thought 2000 yen was a bit much for the morning, so I opted for the "Colorful Vegetable and Jumbo Scallop Tempura Bowl" (950 yen) with miso soup and pickles included, which also had a big impact on the menu. I received the buzzer and took my seat. After a short wait, the buzzer went off and I received my dish. The tempura was indeed huge and overflowing from the bowl, just like in the picture. The "colorful" part didn't quite match the naming in my opinion, as the sauce was dark, and there were a lot of burdock and onions, so the colorfulness was a bit low except for the orange carrot. I tried it right away. The tempura was hot and crispy, very delicious. I wished there was a separate plate to temporarily put the tempura aside so I could eat it with the rice. The texture of the vegetables and small scallops was also enjoyable. I finished it soon. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived at Haneda Airport before 7 am and was surprised by how crowded it was as usual. On this day, I decided to try a newly opened restaurant in the airport called SKY KITCHEN, which is like a food court area. The place next to it had also changed, so it seems they rotate the shops occasionally. Despite being early in the morning, I was feeling energetic and ordered the Tempura Bowl Flower for 1,100 yen (tax included). It came with a side of mini soba noodles and miso soup. When my buzzer rang, I went to pick up my order. The tempura was beautifully arranged with shrimp placed vertically, and I was happy to see a piece of egg tempura as well. The runny yolk of the egg tempura was delicious when mixed with the rice. I started with the miso soup, which was quite strong in flavor, maybe catered towards foreigners. The tempura bowl consisted of shrimp, eggplant, squid, white fish, and egg, all generously sized, providing a satisfying meal. Some parts of the batter were a bit soggy at times, but it was acceptable. The rice was slightly firm, and the sauce was a bit too strong for my taste. It was nice to be able to have tempura bowl before 7 am. The fact that they are open 24 hours is convenient. Thank you for the meal.

I had a regular solo dinner at a new restaurant that just opened. I decided to try their tempura set meal with a side of soba noodles. They offer a larger portion of rice only if you prefer. After placing my order, I waited for a bit until my buzzer went off. The food seemed to be made to order. I picked up my meal and sat down to enjoy it. Overall, it was quite good and satisfying. I would definitely consider coming back. I heard that it is part of the Wako restaurant group.

As I have always declared, when I travel, I don't worry about restricting carbohydrates (lol). And my travels always start from Haneda Airport (lol). On this day, I took an early morning flight and arrived at the airport hungry, so I decided to have a meal at a restaurant I had been eyeing for a while. I usually go for ramen at Rokurinsha, but I had it recently, so I opted for a tempura rice bowl and soba set at this place. I can't remember the name of the order, but it was a regular-sized tempura rice bowl and soba set (completely forgetting about my low-carb diet). It was still early in the morning, so there weren't many customers at the restaurant, and I had to wait a bit longer. But I could see it coming, so I waited patiently. Haneda Airport has decent Wi-Fi, so waiting wasn't inconvenient. Eventually, my order arrived, and the tempura rice bowl was quite generous. The tempura that stood out for me was the eggplant and the egg. The egg was like a soft-boiled egg with a crispy coating. The yolk burst in my mouth, and it was delicious. The soba was okay, with a slightly rough texture. It wasn't bad. I thoroughly enjoyed my tempura rice bowl.
