I visited Yaesu for the second time. This time, I felt like there were more men in the restaurant compared to last time. So, I decided to choose something different from my previous visit. Here's what I ordered: - Charcuterie Platter: A selection of salami, ham, prosciutto, liver pate, etc. A good balance for a starter. The liver pate was particularly smooth and delicious. I enjoyed it with warm baguette and a glass of beer. - Treviso, Beet, Stracciatella Salad: A passionate red salad! I usually drink beet soup because I like it, but today I tried it in a salad form. When cut into thin slices, beets look like this. The Stracciatella cheese, which is like creamy cheese inside burrata cheese, paired perfectly with the tangy dressing. I switched to white wine for this dish. - Roasted Ezo Deer: I couldn't resist the fancy name of "game meat" and decided to try the deer meat. The meat was tender without any gamey taste. The colorful vegetables surrounding the red deer meat made the plate look vibrant. I enjoyed this dish with a glass of red wine. - Pan-Seared Foie Gras, Mushroom Risotto: I still had some room left, so I ordered the risotto as my final dish. The foie gras was generously placed on top, and it was a pleasant surprise. This was the best dish of the day for me. The foie gras was delicious, and the risotto sauce was rich and flavorful. The texture of the rice was just right. I was amazed by how delicious this risotto was. I paired it with red wine. Overall, the quality has been consistent since my last visit to Hamamatsucho. I made a reservation and visited on the last day of the 3-day weekend. It seems that you can reserve a holiday lunch, but it costs 3,500 yen. Even though I made a reservation for 3 people, I was mistaken for 2 people, and there was a feeling that I might not be able to enter, which was a bit unpleasant. The restaurant opened at 11 o'clock, and we left around 12:30, but it was not full at that time, and I felt a bit uneasy. When taking orders, they said, "Start with the appetizers," which meant that we had to start with appetizers for everyone first, but the explanation was somewhat difficult to understand, and the service was not very good. The food includes appetizers, main course, dessert, and coffee for 3,500 yen, so it's not as cost-effective as on weekdays. The dishes were satisfying and filling, but there was a slight sense of disappointment.

When I come back from a trip, I always look for a meal at Tokyo Station! It's a blissful time for me, a foodie, to think about what to eat as the final meal of the trip. I went to a place that I was curious about at Yaesu Midtown. I made a reservation on Tabelog three days ago, which was a good idea as it was Sunday night. I ordered the large plate sharing course for 4500 yen, which included a variety of charcuterie, Niçoise salad, grilled prawns, grilled swordfish, and roasted pork loin. The seasoning was perfect and went well with wine. Although the portion was quite large for one person, I managed to finish it, but my husband struggled a bit. There was no dessert, but I was very satisfied with the generous amount of food at this price. It was probably the best value for money at Yaesu Midtown. I recommend going with a group of four or more for this course! I would definitely go back when I want to have a luxurious toast at Tokyo Station. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

On a regular day around 10:40, the building itself was still quiet as it opens at 11, which made me a bit nervous. But I was meeting a friend, so I waited eagerly outside and was instructed to line up behind the plants on the left side of the shop. I was the first in line and felt excited. When the restaurant opened, about 30% of us entered right away. The appetizer was a corn soup choice, and the corn was fresh and delicious. Although the portion was a bit small, it left a lingering taste. The main dish was pork, about 10 centimeters thick, and it was so tender and perfectly seasoned. It was topped with plenty of vegetables, and I was very satisfied. My friend's chicken breast came with rice, and we also got two pieces of bread, both of which I ended up eating. I'm not sure if you can ask for more. The service was efficient and not overly clingy, which I appreciated. They didn't go into detail about the dishes, but that was fine with me. We chatted so much that we finished our food quickly and moved to a cafe. I would have been very satisfied with a small dessert, but I understand that it would add to their workload. I came to eat Hitsumabushi at the restaurant across the street and finally got the chance to try it. I took half a day off during summer vacation and had lunch alone. I chose the last piece of grilled pork without hesitation. I had the option of corn potage or salad, and I chose the cold corn potage. The potage had a refreshing taste with crunchy corn, perfect for summer. The grilled pork had a thick cut with a lot of volume. It was easy to cut with a knife, but had a firm texture. Under the meat, there was creamy mashed potato, and I enjoyed it with the sauce. Grilled carrots, broccoli, daikon, and onions were also included, making it a satisfying dish. It was topped with greens like pea shoots. A baguette comes with these two dishes. Instead of water, they served iced tea, which was a nice touch. All of this for only 1,500 yen, what a great value for a wonderful lunch.

Despite the change in location, the popularity remains the same, with the restaurant being fully booked as soon as it opens at 11:00 on weekdays. I arrived at 11:20 and had to wait for about 20 minutes, which was a bit disappointing. The secret to its popularity is the generous portion sizes! For weekday lunch, you can choose from a salad or seasonal soup, three main dishes, bread, and a simple yet satisfying menu. When you sit down, you are served with iced tea, not water, which immediately captures your heart. The selected salad is a mix of sunny lettuce, carrots, red daikon, moist chicken breast, boiled egg, and more, with a variety of options and a huge portion. The following main dishes I chose were roasted pork with mustard sauce, chicken thigh with braised red cabbage, and white wine stewed chicken thigh. I've had these dishes at the Hamamatsucho location before, but the portion size here was incredibly impressive. The thick pork loin was topped with plenty of roasted carrots and onions. The pork was tender and flavorful, complemented perfectly by the mustard sauce. I easily finished it, feeling satisfied. After the meal, I had the iced tea again, and I realized that the men next to me might have been right in choosing the soup. Considering the value for money, the price increase is understandable, but even at 1500 yen, it's still a very reasonable price for Yaesu Midtown.

Even though I just visited last week, I couldn't resist trying out another menu item. I was curious about the "Roast Pork with Mustard Sauce" and just had to have it! Once again, a huge chunk of meat was served. The thick, crispy surface of the meat was pink inside, with sweet and juicy fat. The generous portion of meat, along with the tangy sauce and mashed potatoes, made for a delicious meal from start to finish.

This is a restaurant located on the 3rd floor of Tokyo Midtown Yaesu. I met up with a friend who came to Tokyo from Fukuoka, and we decided to have lunch here while sightseeing. When we passed by the restaurant a little after 11 o'clock, it was almost full, but there was one table available, so we decided to go in. Since I hadn't researched the restaurant beforehand, I chose the pork roast as it looked delicious when the person next to me was eating it. The lunch set was 1500 yen and included a choice of soup or salad for appetizer, a main dish, and bread. The salad and main dish were both quite generous in portion. I was surprised by how thick the slices of pork roast were. Under the meat, there was a generous amount of mashed potatoes, which went really well with the mustard sauce. My friend had the pan-fried chicken thigh, which was crispy and delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely, and the food was tasty and reasonably priced. Thank you for the meal.

For dessert, I had the tarte tatin and coffee. All the dishes were delicious and satisfying. There are still many other dishes I want to try, so I definitely want to go back. The fact that we ate so much for this price is also fantastic. While chatting with my friend, the dishes arrived quickly. The roast pork was served with thick vegetables and a generous portion of mashed potatoes. The chicken thigh had crispy skin and was delicious! It also came with mashed potatoes. The portions were large and I was full! This place has great value for money! I understand why it gets full quickly!

I went to a new building in Yaesu in search of a slightly late lunch. As I entered the floor, the smell of eel was incredibly strong. It's amazing how much it lingers, and while the inviting scent of eel carried by the wind is nice, it was quite overpowering. Since it seemed to be a French restaurant, I decided to dine there. They asked if it was okay to stay until 3 o'clock... Yes, it's fine, I have an hour to spare. There were four options, but each time I ordered, they had run out when they checked with the kitchen... In the end, I settled for the classic pork dish. They had ingredients for dinner, but it seems they don't use them for lunch after all. Both the appetizer and the main pork dish were very delicious. The seasoning was just right, and the meat was not only tender but also had a strong umami flavor. I was full by the end of the meal, so I only needed some light snacks for dinner at home. I was satisfied.

After six or seven years, I visited one of the Dodin brothers' restaurants. I remembered how delicious the course meal was when I went to a different Dodin for a company drinking party, and I wanted to go back. I found out that a Dodin had opened in Midtown Yaesu, so I made a reservation. It was packed with customers, showing its popularity. The roasted pork was both delicious and generous in portion. I was completely satisfied with the taste. Dodin is a restaurant that makes me want to go back right away, regardless of how many years pass.

Today, I visited the bistro "Au Delice de Dieu" that I have loved since the Daimon era♡ It was my first visit since they moved to Tokyo Midtown. It was a bit challenging to make a reservation as the phone lines are limited and online bookings fill up quickly. The cozy and clean interior had a perfect bistro atmosphere. The menu was extensive and full of enticing options, making it hard to choose. The portion sizes were generous, so it's recommended to order 3-4 dishes for two people. I ended up ordering the following dishes: - Today's marinated fresh fish (1850 yen): The white fish itself was delicious, and the wild vegetable sauce with a hint of garlic was irresistible. The purple carrots also paired well with it. - Crispy foie gras risotto (2000 yen): It was a pleasant surprise to find foie gras on the menu, and the dish had two pieces at a great price. The rice had a nice bite to it and was very tasty. - Roasted pork back meat (2850 yen): A classic dish here, although I wish the meat was a bit more tender. The portion was huge, and the mashed potatoes complemented it well. - Banana and coconut tart (800 yen): A perfect ending to the meal. It was smaller in portion compared to other dishes but had a mild sweetness and was delicious. Overall, "Au Delice de Dieu" was fantastic! It's one of my favorite bistros in Tokyo alongside Poisson Rouge. The cost-performance ratio is great! I spent around 8000 yen for three drinks and coffee. It was fully booked on Thursday night! It was a good decision to make a reservation!! It was surprisingly lively, and seemed suitable for a gathering of friends. If it's the weekend, it might be different, but we had carpaccio, liver pate, roast steak, lamb sausage, and dessert a la carte. Everything was delicious, and it had a casual French feel with generous portions, so it's best to share with a few people. We were quite full with three people. It cost around 7,000 yen per person. They have a lot of wine bottles. I want to go again.

I visited for lunch on a weekend. I had a reservation for 12 o'clock, but they were already sold out of about 3-4 items. On weekends, they only offer a course menu. Both the appetizer and main dish were generous in portion size, and I felt that the course for 3500 yen was a good deal, especially for the Tokyo Station area. The strawberry tart for dessert was also delicious! The waitstaff didn't come around much and their service was not very friendly, as they silently refilled water or took away bread without saying a word. However, the interior was cute and I would recommend it for a girls' gathering. I would like to visit this restaurant again.
