Delicious! Especially the hormone is delicious! The lamb is also delicious! Met up with my high school son and enjoyed the famous sauna spot "Kairyo-yu", then happened to discover this place on the way back to Shibuya Station. It was the last order, so we decided to go for it. Ordered one Sakura Yukke, two Kalbi, two Tan, one Maruchou, one Shimachou, one Hatsu, and one lamb. It had been a while since I had yakiniku cooked on charcoal. The meat that came out was impressive with solid cuts and good quality. The lamb had a nice wild taste. I will definitely come back here. I was so focused on eating that I couldn't take any photos, haha.

Niumon is a 7-8 minute walk from Shibuya Station, located next to a Seven Eleven at the corner of Namiki Bridge intersection, a little off Meiji Street. The sign says "Kominka" (old folk house), but it's not stylishly renovated, just old. There is also a second floor, but the first floor is better as it is well-ventilated with an open door. The grilled Harami, Hatsu, and Nakaochi Kalbi are all delicious cooked over charcoal. It's a rare Halal-certified yakiniku restaurant in Tokyo, and being the first to obtain this certification, it's always crowded with customers. I went with some Muslim clients who were very satisfied. Reservations are a must for this place.

In September 2022, I visited a place located in the middle of Shibuya, Ebisu, and Daikanyama. It's a bit inconvenient to walk from any station, but it has a cozy hidden gem vibe. The curtain at the entrance also has a nice touch. Although I'm not a fan of horumon (offal), I ordered only meat dishes. I tried the loin, kalbi, harami, and beef tongue (with plum and shiso). The kalbi looked a bit unappetizing at first, but it turned out to be tender and delicious, not too fatty. The harami was also surprisingly tender despite being thickly sliced. The real standout was the Japanese beef loin! It had just the right amount of marbling and looked incredibly tender. When I asked for a refill, a completely different looking meat arrived, and the staff explained that it varies depending on the location. The first meat was delicious. The cold noodles were generous, and the kimchi was tasty too. Thank you for the meal.

A halal-certified yakiniku restaurant in Shibuya that has been renovated from an old traditional Japanese house. The interior has a lot of character and is quite stylish. The menu is extensive, with a focus on offal cuts. The harami (skirt steak) and tongue are delicious, and the side dishes are also very tasty! If you want to enjoy affordable yakiniku in a casual setting, be sure to give this place a try! The staff is friendly and welcoming.

Colleagues and I had dinner at a Hanakin restaurant. When we arrived, we walked through the old-fashioned curtain and found ourselves surrounded by people from Southeast Asia. It seemed like many Malay Muslims visited the place, as there were Halal certification marks visible. We had reserved a table for 6 people, but 2 couldn't make it, so the table was taken by foreign customers without a reservation. They were initially turned away by a Japanese-speaking staff member but were later brought back to the table that had become available. However, they were turned away again for some unclear reason related to the number of chimneys in the restaurant. They eventually found another table. We ordered the "Whole Cow Assortment" and added some hormone dishes. The side dishes included Korean seaweed, kimchi, and smoked herring. The quality of the side dishes was decent. The "Whole Cow Assortment" included 13 types of lean meat and hormone cuts. The tongue was quite large and difficult to chew. The Harami had a strong flavor. The "Hatsumoto" had a chewy texture similar to chicken heart skewers. We tried various hormone cuts like shibire and hachinosu, focusing on cuts like shimacho and marucho. The key was not to overcook the hormone cuts. The shimacho was a bit tricky to cook as it shrank while cooking, but it was enjoyable. The marucho had a rich flavor, but it could be balanced by removing excess fat. Other cuts like giala provided a chewy texture. The restaurant only served beer and highballs, which arrived quickly.

After passing through the purple noren hanging in the alley and being guided to the second floor, you will find yourself in a warm traditional house space. This is a yakiniku restaurant where you can enjoy various cuts of meat grilled on a shichirin charcoal grill in a retro Showa-era setting. The "Manager's Special Assorted Meat Plate" includes tongue, kalbi, harami, and more. The atmosphere is nostalgic and cozy, perfect for a dinner in Shibuya. We started with a refreshing draft beer and continued with a hoppy set and nakadori. The kimchi served as a side dish was a nice touch. The highlight was the assorted meat plate, which included liver and maruchou upon request. The meats were grilled on the charcoal grill under the duct, ensuring freshness. The maruchou was particularly delicious. We also ordered additional cuts like middle rib and "bomb harami," which had a great garlic and green onion flavor. We enjoyed the meal while also snacking on potato salad. If you're in the mood for yakiniku in this area, be sure to visit this traditional house yakiniku restaurant.

Fast, cheap, and the room is cool, it's the best! It's great to be able to enjoy yakiniku in a relaxed atmosphere in Shibuya. It's a bit of a walk from the station, but there are private rooms and it's quiet and nice.

This is a funny old house style yakiniku restaurant that you wouldn't expect in Shibuya. You must try the grilled raw liver! The charcoal-grilled hormone was also delicious.

The quality of the meat is great! The menu doesn't have anything particularly unique, but it's all about the meat here.

I met up with friends in Shibuya today for some meat and drinks, so we decided to visit Ushimon. It's located just a 5-minute walk from Shibuya Station, right off Meiji Street. The place has a cozy, homey vibe which is comforting. We were seated right away and started off with some draft beer for a toast. For food, we ordered a mix of assorted horumon (offal) and kimchi with namul. The appetizers arrived quickly and paired well with the drinks. The meat selection was impressive, and we indulged in a deluxe beef platter. I particularly enjoyed the marinated tongue. We switched from beer to shochu and had a great time enjoying our drinks. The staff were friendly and the fact that the restaurant stays open late is a plus. Overall, it was a great dining experience.

Hello everyone! Today I would like to introduce you to Gyu Mon. I personally think the hormone (offal) here is really delicious. It might make you feel a bit heavy, but it's the kind of place where you'll want to keep eating. Please give it a try!
