I visited around 2pm on Saturday and had a cafe latte and stick cheesecake. The cafe latte was served in a large cup, filled to the top. It seemed to be made with Taknashi 3.6 milk, as it had a natural sweetness even without sugar added, and was delicious. The stick cheesecake (with cocoa cookie) was a soft baked cheesecake with a refreshing yogurt-like taste, and was also delicious. The cafe has many counter seats, making it easy for solo customers to enjoy their time there, and the staff were friendly. Thank you for the meal.

Located just a few minutes' walk from Hikifune Station on the Tobu Skytree Line (formerly Tobu Isesaki Line). After passing through the storefront sales area at the entrance of the shop, there is a cafe space in the back. On this day, I ordered a cafe mocha and decaf coffee jelly. My companion also had a cafe mocha. And they chose the original coffee pudding. With Tokyo Skytree nearby, the redevelopment of the area around the station, including high-rise apartments, and the opening of the first university in Sumida Ward, the town of Hikifune has transformed over the past 10 years. This cafe seems to cater to a clientele of young students and families. As new generations and households move in, the town will become more lively, and new shops that bring new encounters will surely increase. While lost in thought about this, I finish my cafe mocha. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the shop on a Saturday afternoon. It is located about a 3-4 minute walk from Hikifune Station on the Tobu Skytree Line, near the Mukojima Post Office. The shop has a narrow entrance, so you might miss it if you don't look carefully. Inside, you will find coffee beans, sweets, and coffee-related utensils on both walls. Beyond that, there are 5 counter seats, as well as 2 tables for 4 people and 1 table for 2 people at the back. I ordered a "Cafe Latte" for 715 yen. The Cafe Latte was served with beautiful latte art. The cream was slightly sweet, which paired well with the bitter coffee and tasted delicious. They sell various types of coffee beans, but when I asked if they roasted all of them here, I was told that due to limited staff, they currently only roast blends here, while the rest are roasted at a shop in Karuizawa. They plan to increase staff in the future to expand their own roasting varieties. Thank you for the meal.

I came to Cafe Shukure to drink coffee. I ordered the Kenya Otaya Gachi Yaini AA for 1100 yen (tax included). They make it with hand drip, so it takes about 5-10 minutes. The coffee has a fruity aroma, a charcoal-like roasted scent, and a bitterness, making it a specialty coffee. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

After eating at Onda, I decided to check out Café Sucré nearby. This place is eligible for a 30% cashback with PayPay. I ordered the popular Mont Blanc Tart (880 yen) and Ethiopia Gersai coffee (770 yen). The Mont Blanc Tart was too heavy and overly sweet for my liking. However, the Ethiopia Gersai coffee was delicious. I wish I had just ordered coffee. I received a 30% cashback with PayPay.

This time, I wandered around Hikifune Station for the first time. There are many shops near the station, and the city feels prosperous, perhaps because it is close to the Skytree. In a quiet area a short walk from the station, there is a cafe called "Cafe Shukure." The interior of the cafe has counter seats and table seats. This time, I chose a counter seat. Surprisingly, you can see where they brew the coffee at the counter! Coffee lovers would love this...! I ordered a cappuccino this time, so I watched carefully as they extracted the espresso and poured the foamed milk into it. And for the cake, I chose the apple Charlotte. It is made like a Tarte Tatin, but the dough contains coffee powder, giving it a refined sweetness. It was very delicious! Thank you for the meal ☕️

Visited during the daytime on a holiday. It was not crowded and I was able to relax. The atmosphere of this restaurant was really nice. The light wood tones, bright lighting, and natural ambiance were inviting. The faint background music was barely audible, creating a quiet and calming environment.
I ordered the Bacon Egg Bagel (comes with salad and a mini dessert) for 990 yen. The bagel was chewy with a nice crust. The eggs were fluffy and delicious. However, eating a whole bagel felt a bit monotonous in flavor. It would be nice to have a little more variety. The mini dessert was a coffee ice cream, which was refreshing after the warm indoor temperature.
I also had a Cafe Latte for 715 yen. It had a comforting taste with a balanced bitterness and acidity. It was smooth without any strong flavors. The sweetness of the milk stood out and it was enjoyable. However, I felt the price was a bit high for the area, considering it was a standard latte. It was nice that they offer decaf latte as well, which is quite rare. Overall, I recommend this place for when you want to spend a quiet time as it is relatively peaceful.

It has been two years since my last visit, and it seems like there are fewer customers than before. Maybe it's because the staff has changed? I enjoyed the tart and coffee, but the amount of coffee was surprisingly small... Especially for the price of 770 yen per cup, I didn't feel satisfied with the portion size. It's a familiar place, but I was a little disappointed.

I had a light meal and coffee for lunch ☕️ The coffee is famous for being freshly roasted and delicious. Inside the store, coffee beans, milk, equipment, and other products are displayed for purchase. Towards the back, there are a few seats at the counter and three table sets for dining in. The atmosphere is quiet and very calming. The food and coffee were delicious, and the staff were kind and made it a comfortable experience.

I have purchased coffee beans from this small roasted coffee shop several times. You can also enjoy delicious coffee in the store, but this time I bought coffee beans again. The specialty coffee beans recommended by the staff from Vietnam Dalat Co Ho have a soft mouthfeel with little acidity, a moderate bitterness and richness, and are delicious. If the price (1188 yen for 100g) were a little cheaper, I would like to purchase them regularly... (>_<) The staff kindly guides you, so it's nice to find coffee that suits your taste. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Cafe Sucre, located in a shopping street near Hikifune Station. The exterior blends in with the surroundings with its wooden design. Inside, there are tables at the back of the long space. This café specializes in hand-drip specialty coffee, offering a variety of carefully selected beans for a rich coffee experience. Established in 1998, it is a well-known local spot. I tried the Sakura Tiramisu Waffle and Nicaragua Iced Coffee, both made with precision and care. The detailed descriptions of the coffee beans add to the experience, making it a great place to enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee and delicious desserts like cakes. Overall, it's a wonderful café to visit.

I came to Hikifune for the first time in a year, so I wanted to stop by this cafe and arrived at the station earlier than planned. I bought decaf coffee and decided to have a latte here until my appointment. It came out in a cute heart shape. The gentle sweetness really hits the tired heart from telework. I want to come to this cafe more often. It's a shame that my company is far away now.

"Cafe Sucre" is located near the Hikifune Station, where I have been before. I remember the generous portions of sweets I had last time. This time, I tried the seasonal menu item "Mont Blanc Tart (880 yen)" featuring chestnuts. The dessert is priced similarly to curry or spaghetti at other places, but it comes with a generous portion and includes ice cream. The chestnut cream is delicious. I also had a "Cafe Latte (638 yen)" which had a light and pleasant aftertaste. The total cost was over 1500 yen, but whether you find it expensive is up to you. Personally, I think it's worth it and I plan to visit again.

On the final day of the long weekend, I took a walk in the light rain to Hikifune. I took a break at a cafe near the station called Cafe Shukure. It's a small coffee shop that blends in with the neighborhood near the station. Local people stop by, chat with the staff, and then head back home. It's a nice atmosphere. I had an iced coffee. They specialize in hand-drip coffee using freshly roasted beans, but this time I had a machine-extracted one. It was a refreshing coffee without any acidity, perfect for enjoying as an iced drink in the summer. The small cafe has a few seats at the counter and three tables. It was a delightful experience.

I stopped by a nearby store to buy some bread when transferring from Keisei Horikiri Station to Tobu Horikiri Station, but one store was closed for the day and another had a notice saying they were temporarily closed. Since other stores were getting farther away from the station, I gave up. I realized the convenience of having a bicycle at times like this, even though I rarely use it these days. Feeling a bit frustrated, I took a short break at this shop that I happened to see on my way back to the Tobu station from Mito Kaido. I only had 1000 yen in my wallet, so I had to give up on ordering dessert and settled for just a cup of coffee. It was a hand drip coffee, brewed slowly and carefully. As for the taste... um, where are the sugar, milk, and straw? I couldn't find them anywhere, not even on the counter or with the hot coffee the customer next to me had. Maybe it's self-service? Or maybe they specialize in black coffee? I didn't bother asking, so I just drank it as it was. It had a strong bitter taste, as expected from a Bitter Blend. I personally prefer coffee with more acidity, so maybe I made the wrong choice this time. Despite being a specialty coffee shop, there wasn't a strong coffee aroma in the store, but it seemed like they had various unique aspects. I noticed they accepted PayPay when paying, and when I checked my balance, I realized I could have easily ordered dessert with my remaining balance. I regret not noticing that earlier.

After seeing the plum blossoms at Mukojima Hyakkaen, I took a short walk to a café. The atmosphere of the café was very pleasant and cozy. I think the coffee is delicious, but I've been into latte art recently, so I ordered a cappuccino. I also wanted something sweet, so I got a chocolate cake (not sure if it's a limited-time item). The moist chocolate paired perfectly with the whipped cream and it was delicious. Overall, the atmosphere of the café, the drinks, and the sweets were all excellent, so I recommend you all to give it a try! ✨

Recently, coffee specialty shops have become more common in various cities. From light and casual to more niche and specialized establishments, there is a wide variety to choose from. Despite the trendy cafe exterior, these shops focus on high-quality coffee menus. While the main clientele may be more casual, they also cater to coffee enthusiasts. The front of the shop features merchandise, while the back has a cozy wooden counter and table seating. The "Hot Coffee (550 yen)" I tried was a Peruvian Machu Picchu, which I used to drink often. I can't quite remember the taste, but it was a delicious straight coffee. The "Sweets (600 yen)" I ordered was a cheese souffle, which was quite generous in portion. It came with whipped cream and ice cream, giving it a homely taste that suited the atmosphere of the shop. It's worth noting that ice cream is only available for takeout, not for consumption in the shop without ordering a coffee. While this may be understandable from the shop's perspective, some customers may find it a bit inconvenient. Overall, the shop caters more to coffee drinkers, so it may not be the best fit for those looking for just ice cream.

I'm taking a break at Café Shukure near Hikifune Station on the Tobu Skytree Line under the guise of adjusting my time♪( ´θ`) It's hot today, so... I'm recommended to try the Colombian, Agprosem Co-op Natural, Iced Coffee for ¥730 + tax. It's a bit pricey, but I'll go for it٩( 'ω' )و They brew it with a hand drip rapid cooling method, so it takes 8 minutes to make. It has a deep sweetness and acidity, very refreshing! The atmosphere in the quiet background music is quite nice at this café.

What was happening exactly? This local cafe has evolved into a place that is so particular about everything, from the hardware of extraction to the softness of the beans. I visited with my aunt around noon. Did they always have so many single origin options? They have two types of Ethiopian coffee, prepared with light and dark roast. I ordered a Dominican coffee from the Ramirez farm, natural process, medium roast for 700 yen. The coffee shop's tiramisu costs 500-600 yen. They also have an Ethiopian coffee called Alaka for 700 yen. One great thing about this place is that you can choose your drip method. They have my favorite cores that I also use for home brewing. They also offer French press and AeroPress. They have multiple types of filters like Hario and Kalita. It's rare to find a shop with such high freedom of choice. - The Dominican coffee has a pruney aroma. It's more sweet and sour than acidic, a flavor that is hard to match. It has no bitterness, and the conditions seem good. Using the cores accentuates its unique taste, making it both bold and mellow, hence the acidity. This was the best coffee I had in Tokyo. - The tiramisu is not too bitter or boozy. It's more suitable for strong roasted coffee, especially with light to medium roast, this one has a stronger taste. - The Ethiopian Alaka, light roast, is almost sold out, should I go for the Ilga Cheff G1 Natural Konga Farm instead? Opted for this one as the G1 quality of the natural processed Konga Farm is top-notch. However, the character is a bit weak. There's no typical Ethiopian acidity or aroma. Maybe it's because it's from the last batch and has been sitting for a while? I'll try the Ilga next time to confirm. It's worth noting that they have produced two winners in the Japan Hand Drip Coffee Contest. I found out about this as I was leaving. Discovering a delicious place without prior information and rediscovering how both myself and the shop have evolved is enjoyable.
