Gradient soda and glass shining, with a cute surreal seagull, a hidden gem book cafe in the basement of Shibuya Seibu called "Unomachi Coffee Shop." Recommended for those looking for a cute parfait, wanting to spend a leisurely time reading a book, or those dining alone as there are many counter seats facing the wall. When you enter, first place your order and pay at the reception counter, then you will be given a buzzer to wait for your order. The delicate tall glass parfait is elegant, topped with pineapple and whipped cream, with a crispy brulee, kiwi, milk pudding, vanilla ice cream, and crunchy granola underneath. The beautiful gradient and cute Unomachi glass are lovely. The vibrant two-tone colors make it visually appealing. Mix it well before eating to enjoy the delicious sweet and sourness of the kiwi. The store has various magazines and books available for reading freely, making it a convenient place for meet-ups due to its spacious layout.

I arrived at the restaurant just before 3 pm on a weekday and was able to get in right away! I placed my order at the counter as soon as I entered, and they notified me with a bell. There were empty seats, so I chose a seat at the counter in the front. They also have Wi-Fi. There were many books available, so I read one while I was there. I liked that the bookmarks have space on the back to write your name or social media accounts. I ordered a lassi, which cost 800 yen. It had muscat grapes on top, ice in the middle, and yogurt at the bottom. It had a beautiful color and looked like it would be great for photos. The taste was refreshing with a strong flavor! The large ice cube in the middle made it a bit difficult to drink, and the straw was thin and hard to suck through, but it was delicious. I spent about an hour there before leaving, and when I left, there was a line forming outside on the waiting chairs. I had great timing!

This was my first time visiting. The atmosphere was relaxed and quiet, making it a comfortable cafe to be in. There were many single seats, so I think it's a great place to visit alone. They had a wide selection of books, making it a perfect spot for book lovers. Although they open at 11 am, there was already a line forming 15 minutes before opening, and seats filled up quickly. I ordered the cream soda in red (citrus) flavor. It had more of a berry taste than citrus, but it was delicious. It came with a dish of ice cream, making it easy to drink and enjoyable. They accept payment by card, PayPay, and other methods!

Uno-machi Coffee Shop Uno-machi Cream Soda (Green) Seasonal Creme Brulee Parfait ¥1900 Located a 4-minute walk from Shibuya Station Hachiko Square, on the 2nd floor of Seibu Department Store. Closed on: None
I was intrigued by the cute appearance of cream soda and such at this shop. It is located underground in Seibu. Although I hadn't really paid attention to the cute cream soda and parfaits, it turns out to be a book cafe, with a considerable amount of books inside where you can enjoy food and drinks while reading. It might be the perfect environment to kill time, haha.
I wanted to try the creme brulee parfait, but unexpectedly, a one drink order was required... Oh well, so I ended up ordering the cream soda and the parfait together, haha. I chose green for the cream soda. The cream soda turned out to be more kiwi-flavored than I had expected. The acidity was quite strong, and I had underestimated it thinking it was just about the color, haha. The soda part had a strong acidity, which paired well with the vanilla ice cream, creating a nice combination.
As for the parfait, it had a crispy creme brulee layer at the bottom, followed by a pudding layer. Further down, there was a fruity-flavored layer similar to fruit cocktail. The sweetness of this part was balanced by the strong acidity of the kiwi on the walls of the cup. Going even further down, there were flakes, vanilla ice cream, and citrus sherbet ice cream layers! The rule of parfait, where the texture and taste change as you eat, was fully satisfied, and I felt a sense of satisfaction! The cute appearance is also a nice touch, isn't it? Looking back at the photos, it might be too sad to go to this place alone as a guy. Thank you for the meal. m(_ _)m

On a typical sunny day around 1:00 PM, it was very hot and I thought the popular spot might be crowded, but it was fine! The interior of the restaurant was quiet with plenty of space between tables, allowing for a relaxed atmosphere. I had a two-tone lassi with muscat and green apple, while my friend had a cream soda with pineapple. The staff recommended many interesting books that you can freely read! Even though I don't usually read books, there were so many intriguing ones that I found myself picking them up. I might even come here just to read books! The location is convenient, close to the station, making it a good place to kill time. The cakes and brulee parfaits looked delicious too, overall a nice place to visit!

A cafe my friend wanted to go to ^ ^ There are about 5 different colored cream sodas, and they are super cute ☺️ You can also read books inside the shop, so it's perfect for a little break and refreshment! I visited this cream soda shop, popular among young people for its Instagrammable atmosphere. The interior was a bit crowded but I was able to find a seat in about 10 minutes. Here, you pay and order before taking a seat. There were 5 different flavors of cream soda to choose from, so I had a hard time deciding. I ended up ordering the purple cream soda with a floral flavor that I had been curious about, and the cream soda with a beautiful kiwi flavor. It took about 10 minutes for them to be ready. The purple color doesn't come through well in the photos. The floral flavor was more syrupy than floral, and the kiwi flavor was very tangy and delicious.

On the third Sunday of June 2023, at 2:00 pm. It's a sunny interval during the rainy season with a temperature of 30 degrees at noon. Taking a walk from Hatsudai, I stop for a coffee break at the halfway point. Luckily, there is only one group waiting ahead of me, so I don't mind waiting for about 10 minutes. While waiting, three other groups leave without being seated. Eventually, I am called along with another group to sit at the counter. I prefer the counter as it feels more relaxing. We are asked to place our orders and pay at the counter. It's a bit inefficient as there are no menus at the waiting area, so I have to decide after reaching the counter. Located in the basement of Seibu Department Store, it can be confusing for first-time visitors. The coffee shop should provide menus at the waiting area.
I order an Iced Vienna Coffee for 600 yen. Once ready, a buzzer vibrates, indicating that I should pick up my order at the designated counter. I head towards the counter, but there is a customer's belongings on the seat. The staff suggests any available seat, but it's a bit disorganized. Despite claiming to manage seat availability, the staff doesn't handle customers' manners properly. However, I enjoy their coffee, so I will probably come back again.
I ordered a challenging combination of Iced Coffee with Vienna Cream, and the buzzer goes off immediately when I touch it. I pick up my order with cream and cinnamon on top. I realize that the cream doesn't mix well with the cold coffee, but it still tastes good. The cream helps maintain the coldness of the coffee, and I enjoy it until the end. There is leftover cream at the bottom of the glass, but overall, it was a good experience. The coffee here is delicious, so I will definitely return.

I visited this place to kill time before a meeting. At first, I wanted to go to a Starbucks where I could see the Shibuya Scramble Crossing, but it was crowded with foreign tourists and there were no seats, so I gave up. As I was walking around, I stumbled upon this building. It had been about 6-7 years since I last visited, so I felt a sense of nostalgia. I was looking for a cafe inside the building, and after checking the building directory, I found out there was a cafe downstairs. I was prepared for it to be crowded again, but to my surprise, it was just the right amount of people, very quiet inside, and the atmosphere was great. You order your drink at the counter and pay first. The staff were very friendly and cute. There were many delicious-looking drinks, but I played it safe and ordered a cafe latte. It was a generous portion and I was very happy with it. It looked cute too! The taste was also delicious and I was very satisfied. I think it's quite a hidden gem, so I would like to visit again when I have another meeting. Thank you for the meal.

Located in the basement of Seibu Department Store A Building in Shibuya, this book cafe offers coffee made with specialty beans like Kilimanjaro, as well as visually appealing cream sodas and parfaits. You can also charge your devices and read books displayed in the cafe, making it a very relaxing place to hang out.
I stumbled upon this cafe while killing time at Seibu Department Store before a meeting. I visited around 4 pm on a weekday. The counter seats were available, but the table seats were full. The coffee was delicious, and the glassware was cute, which lifted my spirits.

Book Cafe Seibu Shibuya, originating from Okayama, is located on the B1 floor of Building A. On a holiday, after shopping, we tried to take a break here but it was crowded, so we waited for about 20 minutes. The seasonal parfait and cream soda seem to be popular, but the two-tone lassi also caught our attention as we decided to order separately since there were three of us. We chose the following:
- Two-tone lassi (4 types of berries)
- Unomachi cream soda (blue)
- Seasonal creme brulee parfait
- Two-tone lassi (pineapple and mango)
Please note that a drink order is required for the parfait. There are books to read inside the store and charging stations, so many people were seen working there.

The appearance was really nice and drew me in, but the taste and atmosphere were also excellent!! The seasonal creme brulee parfait with strawberries was delicious, with milk pudding and dried fruits adding variety and keeping it tasty throughout. The cafe is filled with books, making it a great place for book lovers to relax and enjoy. Highly recommended!

March 2023, 1:30 PM on a holiday. I visited a cafe on Park Street for coffee. Upon confirming that there were available seats, I entered the cafe. The male-female ratio in the cafe was around 2:8. The system was to order first before securing a seat. The staff was aware of the number of empty seats and guided customers accordingly. I ordered the first "iced" menu of the year, as spring has arrived.
- Cafe Latte, 550 yen
I was a bit nervous about the stylish atmosphere of the cafe when I entered without checking the prices outside, but I felt relieved after seeing the menu at the order counter. I was surprised by how affordable it was. I received a buzzer and went to the counter seat. The cafe latte served in a legged glass was beautifully layered. The glass with the logo was stylish, showcasing the cafe's specialty parfait. There was also someone enjoying "strawberry panperdue" for lunch, which was beautifully presented. A hemp bag with an illustration of cream soda and numerous books were displayed, with communication items like bookmarks inserted. This cafe is a place where you can write down your SNS account on the bookmark and potentially make new connections. They have branches in Okayama, Fukuyama, Nara, Shibuya, and Kamakura. It is said that elderly women in Nara also visit due to connections through SNS. The coffee was not only visually appealing but also delicious. I added sugar syrup, but it was still tasty without it, with a perfect balance of milk. The coffee was mild without any acidity. Despite being located in a department store basement, there was no rush, and I was able to enjoy a relaxing coffee time. The beautiful cream soda and parfait looked delicious as well. I will definitely visit again.

I found this place on Instagram and decided to check it out. I paid at the counter first and then found a seat on the right side with the impressive light blue vase. I waited for about 5-10 minutes until my order was called. It was a bit hard to tell when my order was ready because the place is quiet. I ordered a cafe latte and enjoyed looking at the beautiful layers in the drink. The taste was average, but I was able to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. It's a place where you feel like staying for a long time. Thank you for the meal!

On August 23, 2022, I visited this place after trying cold noodles for the first time and visiting Shibuya Ikuta Shrine and Kinou Hachimangu Shrine to take a break. Upon entering the shop, we placed our order at the reception counter. This time, I ordered the "Unomachi Cream Soda" (800 yen) in a green kiwi flavor, while my wife ordered the "Two-Tone Lassi with Green Apple and Muscat" (800 yen). We were given a buzzer and sat down to wait. Both drinks had vibrant two-tone colors and looked beautiful. The glass design was cute too. Although I wanted to drink it as it is, the flavors were separated, so I mixed it properly. The sweet and sour taste of the kiwi was delicious. The cream soda came with a small dish, and I thought it was for putting cherry seeds in, but other customers were putting the ice cream on top. The two-tone lassi had a triple sweet and sour taste of yogurt, green apple, and muscat. The taste was good, but the straw was thin, making it difficult to drink. There were many books available here, and by writing your name and SNS account on the table marker and placing it in a book, you could communicate with people who seemed to have similar interests. I wondered if it was safe to share personal information, but it may just be unnecessary worry. The cute atmosphere and the high percentage of female customers make this place understandable.

Uno-machi Cream Soda Blue Citrus Flavor was delicious. Thank you. Located in Seibu Shibuya Store A Building B2F in front of Shibuya Station's scramble intersection. A book cafe from Okayama. Visited on a holiday after 2 pm. Uno-machi Cream Soda comes in three flavors: blue (citrus), green (kiwi), and purple (flower). Ordered the vibrant blue one. It was delicious. I also want to try the parfait that was sold out this time.

I visited the restaurant around 3 PM on Saturday. I was surprised to see a long line in front of the store, but since there were chairs, I decided to wait...lol After waiting for about 40 minutes, I was finally seated inside. You order first and then take your seat. The cream soda was delicious. However, I was a bit confused by the color of the violet drink... black...? lol I recommend the blue or green one. Also, the fondant chocolat was warm and delicious!

The blue cream soda was a beautiful blue color, just like the sky ☁️ The purple flower-flavored one didn't look as pretty in color, but it tasted delicious! When we went on Saturday, there were a few groups waiting in line, but the wait time was shorter than expected, maybe because many customers were only ordering drinks!

Seasonal Crème Brûlée Parfait for 1000 yen, Shrimp and Salted Kombu Tea-Steeped Rice for 550 yen. You can pay with electronic payment methods, and they provide a vibrating board for you to pick up at the counter after making your payment. The seating is free and there is self-serve lemon water available. Located on the 2nd floor of Seibu, it's near the station but not crowded, giving it a hidden gem vibe. There are many counter seats facing the wall, making it great for solo diners. The parfait consists of crème brûlée, almond tofu, ice cream, granola, and strawberry jam. The almond tofu is unique and delicious. The lower part of the parfait was frozen along with the dish, which was interesting. The receipt had "I came from Okayama." written on it, which was cute. The relaxed music playing in the background echoes due to the high ceiling, making it easy to have conversations.

I visited around 12 o'clock on Sunday and was able to enter smoothly with about 5-6 customers already there. The atmosphere is quiet with mostly solo customers. I wanted to try the parfait made with seasonal fruits, but since it's a one drink per person rule, I had to give up on that. [Payment] Cash, PayPay, QR code payment [Order] Unomachi Cream Soda (Blue) 800 yen [Impression] This is the famous Unomachi Coffee Shop's Cream Soda that became popular on Instagram. The gradient soda and the pattern on the glass give it a nice visual appeal. It's a bit pricey considering the taste, but it's worth it for the novelty and could be a good choice for a gathering with friends.
