If you're looking for a cute hot pot place in Ueno, this is the place to go! Surrounded by lots of adorable pandas, it was a fun and enjoyable hot pot restaurant. The menu is mostly in Chinese, but the staff are very kind and helpful when it comes to translating or explaining. You can choose your own condiments and soup, making it enjoyable even for hot pot beginners! Just a heads up, even the mild level of spiciness is quite hot, so if you're not used to spiciness, it might be best to avoid medium or large levels! (laughs)

I made a reservation and used it during lunchtime. I chose the most affordable course for 3480 yen plus tax, and added all-you-can-drink soft drinks for 480 yen plus tax, making it a total of 4356 yen per person including tax. You order food through an app, and soft drinks are self-service. The app is only in Chinese, so it was a bit difficult to use, but I managed with the help of photos and the atmosphere.

This is a shop where you can feel unwavering panda love. The food is delicious, and in conclusion, I want to come back soon!
Pros:
- You can eat a lot of ingredients in a delicious and healthy way.
- Rare ingredients and seasonings are all-you-can-eat!
- And yet it's cheap.
- Getting excited about pandas
Cons:
- You may eat too much because it's so delicious.
- The menu is in Chinese, with Japanese translations available, but the condiment section has no translations so you don't know what is what.
- You are kicked out right at the 2-hour mark.
It felt like going to a theme park!

The menu and ordering app were in Chinese, but the staff kindly explained everything in Japanese. They didn't seem very fluent in Japanese, but they tried their best and were very kind, so I had a good impression of them. The hot pot was delicious, and it was fun to have a buffet-style selection of condiments.

On a hot day, I really wanted to eat hot pot, so I visited this restaurant. The exterior was welcoming with cute pandas. Most of the staff were Chinese. I chose the all-you-can-eat and drink course for 2 hours. I selected 3 types of soup (spicy, clear broth, tomato). The authentic spiciness of the hot pot was very satisfying! You could customize your condiments, and there were plenty of additional ingredients and side dishes. The panda-shaped chili oil was too cute. I loved it so much that I ended up going back the next month due to my addiction to hot pot.笑

On a Sunday afternoon, I made a reservation and went to my favorite popular Panda Hot Pot about 20 minutes before. Surprisingly, even at 3:30 pm, it was totally okay! I enjoyed the limited-time crayfish, crispy meat, tomato hot pot, seafood tofu, various meats, winter melon and green vegetables, ice powder, and white wood ear mushroom soup! The staff were all lovely, kind, and attentive! In the hot summer, my body felt refreshed! Panda Hot Pot is like a god in my heart! It is the most delicious hot pot in Tokyo! It's always a fun and delicious place to visit. ♪♡

On Friday, I made a same-day reservation for a private room. I chose the all-you-can-eat course for 4,980 yen. The staff was very kind, and the mobile ordering system was convenient. There were plenty of dishes, and the speed from ordering to serving was fast. The garlic-flavored crayfish was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

My son was feeling a bit under the weather, so I was looking for a hot pot restaurant to warm up his body. While walking from Akihabara to Ueno, I came across a flashy sign and decided to go in. It was my first time at this restaurant, so I opted for the all-you-can-eat option. Despite it being late at night, there were many foreign customers, which got me excited. I chose a hot pot with a clear broth and a spicy one. The spicy broth was not too numbing but very spicy. The clear broth was rich and delicious. The amount of meat and vegetables served at the beginning was very generous and satisfying. There were also many different dipping sauces, allowing for plenty of flavor variations. I would definitely like to visit this place again.

On my second visit, I ordered the 3950 yen course, which had a good variety of meat and vegetables. I really like the hot pot here. The side dishes are delicious too, but they fill you up quickly!

We went to Ueno to see the cherry blossoms with my friend for a date. Before that, we decided to eat something, and both tried hot pot for the first time!! We were worried about how spicy it would be, but there were other flavors to choose from besides hot pot. We chose tomato, plain hot pot, and hot pot with three different flavors. We started by ordering the recommended set, and then added more items using our smartphones. When ordering, it was a bit confusing because everything was in Chinese, but the staff was helpful and we managed to order. The sesame dumplings were delicious, and it was exciting to choose from a variety of sauces. The hot pot was large and came with long chopsticks!! It was all new to us and so much fun!!! It was more fun than delicious! The other customers were mostly Chinese, which made us feel like we were experiencing the real thing! The restaurant was very clean and we felt comfortable. The total cost for lunch on a weekday was around 4000 yen per person!

Reasonable price, very delicious food, and most importantly, the staff were incredibly kind. They would check if we needed more drinks even if we didn't order any additional ones for the all-you-can-drink option. When my friend accidentally spilled something on their clothes and was wiping it off, the staff quickly brought a new napkin for them. They always responded with a smile and were attentive to our needs. The menu for the all-you-can-eat option was promptly provided as well. It was my first time trying hot pot, but I don't think I need to go anywhere else now. It was a lovely gathering with friends after a long time, and I felt truly happy.

I really wanted to eat hot pot, so I made a reservation! There are 3 all-you-can-eat courses to choose from. Opted for the all-you-can-eat option, which was great value for money. The variety of vegetables, mushrooms, and meats was abundant and all delicious. The interior of the restaurant is bright and panda-themed. As mentioned in reviews, ordering was in Chinese, but there were pictures to help, so it was easy to order. The staff were friendly and helpful, making it a fun dining experience. I happened to visit on a weekday when it was not crowded, but it seems to get busy so reservations are a must!

I had been curious about this place for a while, so I finally went to check it out! The restaurant is clean and full of pandas, so cute! I tried the all-you-can-eat option and there was a wide variety of vegetables and meats, and you could make your own sauce which was nice. We had the three-flavor hot pot - spicy, tomato, and plain broth - all of them were delicious and had a good balance of sourness, umami, and sweetness. The alcohol and food came out quickly. One small thing was that all the words for mobile ordering were in Chinese, which might be difficult for those who don't understand Chinese. Overall, it was delicious, cute, fast, and reasonably priced. I would like to go again!

I wanted to eat hot pot, so I went to this restaurant that I had been curious about. The place had a lot of Chinese vibes and was very cute even before entering. I made a reservation, but more reserved guests arrived later. Those without reservations had to wait a bit. Since it was all-you-can-eat, I could order without worrying about the price, which was great. Adding all-you-can-drink alcohol was only about ¥5000 per person. The panda-shaped solid fat was very cute, but it was better to not put it in (it solidified quickly and became greasy). I could eat plenty of vegetables and meat until I was full.

I had some errands in Ueno and felt like eating Chinese medicinal hot pot, so I decided to visit this restaurant that has been featured on TV. The atmosphere and setting were very nostalgic and authentic, with Chinese staff who spoke limited Japanese, Chinese pop music playing, and the smell of Chinese medicinal herbs in the air. As soon as I entered, I felt like I was in China. The majority of the customers seemed to be Chinese as well. I opted for the all-you-can-eat standard course, which was sufficient. Instead of the simple combo set for Japanese customers, I recommend ordering individual items as much as you like, using an app to navigate the Chinese menu if needed. When it comes to hot pot, I suggest focusing on lamb instead of beef, and definitely try the satay sauce. You can choose up to 3 types of soup base, but the spicy and medicinal Mala soup is a must-try, with the others being based on personal preference. The Mala soup contains Sichuan peppercorns and chili peppers, so be careful with the spiciness. My friend accidentally bit into a Sichuan peppercorn, choked, and ended up in a numbness hell, so beware (laughs). I recommend trying Chinese hot pot ingredients like dried tofu, blood tofu, meatballs, and yuba. There are also items like tripe available. The Mala soup tends to splash, so it's a good idea to ask for an apron. I took a photo of the panda lard and chili oil, but the soup was already quite fatty, so I didn't add them in. Hot pot is best enjoyed with the all-you-can-eat option, allowing you to eat as much of your favorite ingredients as you like. This restaurant offers a wide variety of meat and ingredients, and the sauce counter allows you to create your own dipping sauce. They even have duck and saliva chicken available. I would definitely come back here whenever I crave hot pot.

The search for the perfect hot pot restaurant continues. This time, I went to a place for a New Year's gathering with my hot pot buddies. We reserved a lunchtime all-you-can-eat course in advance, which included unlimited lamb meat for 2 hours at a cost of 4930 yen. The menu also offered unlimited oysters and shrimp. The restaurant had a panda theme, with panda decorations everywhere. We chose a two-flavor base of spicy and plain broth. The food was delicious, especially the sweet potato vermicelli. The popular set we ordered was good, but we realized that it might have been better to choose our favorite ingredients individually. The lamb meat had different varieties, and there was a wide selection of seafood and vegetables. However, the speed of drink service and the Chinese-only QR code ordering system could be improved. Overall, the hot pot was excellent, and I will definitely be coming back to try it again.

I went to "Kumao Hotpot Ueno Branch" for the first time on a weekend afternoon. I had made a reservation for 1:00 pm, but the place was almost full. The interior of the restaurant was bright, clean, and stylish, which I could see why it is popular among women. I ordered what you see in the picture. I ate a lot. Among them, the oysters, three-layer pork belly, and duck blood were delicious. The total payment was 13,528 yen, which I paid by card. I will probably go again. Next time, it would be good to go with 3-4 people. Thank you for the meal.

A friend made a reservation at a hot pot restaurant in Ueno. It cost 5000 yen for all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink. You choose the soup flavor on a touch screen and order your favorite ingredients. You can make your own sauce according to your preference. The spicy soup is delicious and addictive, with a numbing spiciness. They had Taiwanese ingredients like duck blood and pig brain. They surprised me for my birthday with decorations and cute pandas (including rare pandas) in the room. They even prepared a gift for me, a panda keychain and 3 types of snacks. Amazing service! If you post on Instagram, they will give you a free panda ice tapioca milk tea.

While strolling around Ueno, I happened to come across a restaurant and felt like having hot pot! The exterior of the restaurant had a big panda which was super cute! You can choose from three different soup bases for the hot pot. I decided to go with the waitress's recommendation, which I think was tomato, mushroom, and mala. The mala soup was quite spicy! Among the three soups, I liked the mala the best. There was a melting panda figure added to the hot pot, I wonder what that was made of? What I found interesting was the dipping sauces. The waitress brought two kinds, one was sesame oil with garlic, and the other was a sesame sauce with various ingredients. The sesame sauce was really delicious! I realized on my way out that near the entrance, you can actually choose and make your own dipping sauce. Since I loved the sesame sauce so much, I plan to try making my own next time. They had a good variety of meat options as well, such as lamb, beef shabu-shabu, pork belly, all of which were delicious. If you're having hot pot, I recommend the lamb. The restaurant was cute and fun, overall a great experience!

#Today's Spicy Adventure■ Ueno Station Kuma Panda Hot Pot Ueno Branch Standard All-You-Can-Eat Course 3,278 yenSpiciness Level: ★★★★★☆☆☆☆☆ (4)Stomachache Level: ★★★☆☆☆ (3)Deliciousness Level: ★★★★★ (5)Spicy Adventure in Ueno! I went for a spicy adventure with my friends on a holiday and visited Kuma Panda Hot Pot! This hot pot restaurant has been on my radar for a while and is quite popular locally, known for its authentic Chinese cuisine. As the name suggests, pandas are everywhere in the restaurant, adding to its charm. Kuma Panda Hot Pot offers an all-you-can-eat hot pot experience with four different soup bases to choose from. This time, I went for the spicy, tomato, and plain broths. When I asked if they could make it spicier, I was told that they couldn't adjust the spiciness of the soup. However, they have a self-service condiment station where you can create your own spicy mix, so even spice lovers can enjoy their meal comfortably. After a while, the hot pot arrived, and to my surprise, it came with two cute panda figures on top! The red one is chili oil, and the white one is butter, both to be added to the spicy broth. This is something that girls would love (laughs). For those who love spicy food, I recommend scooping the soup with a ladle in a ratio of 1 part spicy broth to 1 part plain broth (plus a bit of tomato broth). If you want it spicier, add more spicy broth, and if you're not a fan of spicy food, adjust with more plain broth. Despite not adding extra spiciness, the spicy broth was surprisingly hot, and my friend who isn't a fan of spicy food couldn't stop coughing (laughs). It's been a while since I had hot pot, and I realized I could eat it endlessly. I've found another delicious hot pot restaurant, and I highly recommend it to fellow hot pot enthusiasts! Save this if you found it helpful! ✅
