Some girls who were trying to enter the shop in front of me also peeked inside and then gave up, returning. Naturally, I also roamed around the streets of Fuchu before finally visiting the shop after 5 pm. I love the happy hour at this shop, which is why I chose to visit. The draft beer was half price during happy hour, so I ordered a black label for 528 yen (tax included). The appetizer was cabbage pickles for 264 yen. The special of the day was a tuna platter for 748 yen, which I couldn't resist because I love tuna. It arrived with six large slices of tuna and negitoro in a small bowl, and it was indeed a great deal in terms of quantity. However, the taste was just average. I also ordered the tuna steak with butter ponzu sauce for 638 yen, which came with grated daikon radish and was served on a bold plate. It looked delicious, and the combination of flavors was amazing. Finally, I wanted to order some kushikatsu, but the shop was getting busier, so I decided to leave. The shop had a busy atmosphere, with the kitchen staff, including the somewhat unfriendly owner and a female staff member, working hard to serve the increasing number of customers. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience.

It was a bit crowded, but the food was served smoothly and the drinks were provided quickly after ordering. The skewers were delicious, and other dishes were also tasty. When I mentioned that I wanted to take home the leftover food, they kindly prepared a take-out pack and sauce for me. I was impressed by the heartfelt service and smiles of the staff in the midst of the busy atmosphere. It's great that they are open late at night. I will definitely use this restaurant again.

I visited this place a short walk from Fuchu Station. It was during happy hour. I ordered a draft beer. The appetizer was taro. The amount of snacks was decent, and the drink service was very quick, which was great.

Fuchu Station is a 3-minute walk away. The signboard with a samurai holding a skewer as a sword is the landmark. Inside the restaurant, there are counter seats and table seats with a small number of seats. This time, we were guided to a table seat at the back. - Assorted 5 skewers (beef, pork, mackerel, onion, pickled ginger) Goro's skewers range from 90 yen per skewer, with a total of 30 varieties. Since it was my first time, I ordered the "assorted 5 skewers". The contents of the assortment vary depending on the day. The skewers have a crispy texture, and the special sauce has a smooth consistency that goes well with the skewers. I often visit during happy hour. When you order the chef's choice skewers, you get a few premium skewers at a higher price. The other dishes are also good value for money, and watching the cooking right in front of you makes you appreciate the difference from chain restaurants. Next time, I want to try the various types of Japanese sake that they regularly stock.

After being turned down by 6 places after the Japan Derby, I finally made it here. The food is all good, especially the sauce for the tempura. The sauce is excellent, maybe they blend in dashi, but either way, the sauce alone is just so delicious! After Tokyo Racecourse, this is definitely the first choice.
