[2017/06/24] I used the Hachioji Passport 7 service. The service included a mix of three flavors for the Hachioji City's 100th anniversary, originally priced at 690 yen but discounted to 500 yen. The three flavors were with skin, sesame, and plain. This time, I tried warming them up in a toaster for 2 minutes, and they turned out to be delicious the whole time.
[2017/05/20] I used the Hachioji Passport 7 service. The service included a mix of three flavors for the Hachioji City's 100th anniversary, originally priced at 690 yen but discounted to 500 yen. The three flavors were with skin, sesame, and plain. Made with only butter, sugar, and eggs, these snacks are additive-free and safe. Four and a half years ago, I chose them as New Year's gifts, but there was no reaction at that time, even though they are delicious.
[2012/12/12] It's already the season where I have to think about New Year's gifts in no time. I love trying different foods, so I tend to think a lot about it. As a result, I decided on "Takao Potato" for next year's New Year's gifts!! I went to the main store with a factory attached and packed various flavors like with skin, sesame, maple, plain, etc. Not just for sending, but I also bought some for home use. I wonder how the reactions of my parents and relatives will be? Looking forward to it~
[2012/02/08] I've always wanted to try "Takao Potato." And guess what, they started selling them at a nearby convenience store, so I went to buy them right away. The staff at the convenience store even said, "They're delicious," which raised my expectations. I found out they had only been on sale for three days. I only found out about it yesterday too. On the Hikari Shimbun's website, it was written about delicious ways to eat them like baking, warming, chilling, freezing, etc. So I lightly baked them in a toaster and they were fluffy with a gentle sweetness spreading, making me feel happy. They are particular about being additive-free and handcrafting each one. The factory store, which used to be closed on Sundays, is now only closed on New Year's Day. If you go there, you can buy freshly baked sweet potatoes before they are packed. I definitely want to visit the factory store next time.
