When I go to the outskirts, I often see this chain restaurant. I was a bit hesitant to go to a chain restaurant when I went out of my way to come here, but I decided to give it a try during a lunch on a holiday. Even though it was well past lunchtime, it was quite crowded, and I had to wait for about 20 minutes. Although there were empty tables, the operation may have been slow. The restaurant industry is also facing challenges due to a shortage of staff. I was seated at a booth that resembled a family restaurant, but there are also raised seating areas for families with small children. Based on prior information that the beef wasn't highly rated, I opted for the all-you-can-eat three-tier pork set. I was curious about how much I could actually eat with all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu. I started with three plates of shoulder loin and belly meat, along with a plate of chicken for some reason. The base broth for the hot pot was "white dashi," with the option to choose from several other broths, so I selected "sukiyaki dashi" at my partner's request. The basic white dashi could also be customized with additional flavors. The vegetables included shredded Chinese cabbage, leeks, enoki mushrooms, and daikon radish. Since it was shabu-shabu meat, it was light and easy to eat. The fat content was moderate, so it was surprisingly enjoyable. I only requested one refill. The dessert corner also looked enticing, so after finishing with the meat, I moved on to dessert. There was self-serve soft-serve ice cream, so I started with that, and I also made a coffee float using the ice coffee from the drink bar. There was also a waffle maker, so I tried making a waffle and customized it with red bean paste, soft-serve ice cream, and fruits. In addition, my partner even had white rice dumplings with sweet red bean soup. There were also shaved ice and the children seemed to be having fun making their own treats. It was a bit confusing whether it was a shabu-shabu place or a dessert buffet (laughs), but sometimes, it's fun to customize things at this kind of restaurant. Thank you for the meal.
