I'm going diving in Ishigaki Island. I've had my 4 vaccine shots, the plane is full, and it's cooler than Tokyo. I'm bringing some "Tokyo Banana" as a gift for my acquaintances in Ishigaki Island. It's actually my first time trying "Tokyo Banana". Since it's a souvenir from Tokyo, people in Tokyo might not have many chances to eat it. I bought a limited edition called "Flying Tokyo Banana Kumass" only available at Haneda Airport. It's good for a week so it's convenient. When I tried it, it had a fluffy sponge cake with a gooey banana paste inside. The honey flavor is quite strong. It's sweet, light, and easy to eat. I haven't tried the original Tokyo Banana, so I can only compare it to the limited edition, which had a banana flavor with a strong honey taste.

My wife followed me over here, hmm~ I have to buy this, right?! I bought it without having anyone to give it to. It's Tokyo Banana, so delicious. Haneda Airport limited edition "Tokyo Banana flying in the sky" honey banana flavor, found it for 560 yen. Thank you for the treat! (^^)v

Haneda Airport is currently under construction, similar to Osaka's Itami Airport, so it was a bit inconvenient. However, I arrived at Haneda Airport too early, so I took a look around the souvenir shops before check-in. But I couldn't find any souvenirs that really caught my eye, so I proceeded to check-in. After passing through the check-in counter, as I walked towards the boarding gate, I noticed a mountain of souvenirs in front of the gate for the plane I was boarding. Since I still had time, I decided to check out the souvenirs again. While wandering around before boarding, I came across a dessert called "Ginza Mont Blanc Cake." It turned out to be made by the same manufacturer as "Tokyo Banana." It was a caramel-scented Mont Blanc cake with a caramel custard drizzled on top, wrapped in a soft sponge cake. It was priced at 448 yen for a pack of 4, with a shelf life of 7 days (including the purchase date). When I got home and looked at it closely, I was surprised by how short the expiration date was. The cake was fluffy and delicious, not too sweet, making it enjoyable for all ages. Personally, I liked that it wasn't overly sweet. I managed to enjoy it within the expiration date.

On July 9, 2019, there were many limited edition items at the souvenir shop inside Haneda Airport, including the "Tokyo Banana" that can fly in the sky. I found a long-named Tokyo Banana with honey banana flavor called "Mitsuketatt." I have had Tokyo Banana before, but I am weak to limited edition items, so I bought the smallest box of 4 for 560 yen to take home. I shared it with my family, and even though I have only had it a few times, this one had a prominent honey flavor and tasted quite delicious when chilled in the refrigerator. It was a limited edition item that my family enjoyed and asked me to buy more of.

Haneda Airport. My eldest daughter messaged me on Line asking me to bring back some beans as a souvenir, but I couldn't find any at the gate. So, I ended up buying the classic Tokyo souvenir, Tokyo Banana. I went with the maple flavor since it was recommended, and bought a pack of four to avoid getting scolded for buying too many. The combination of banana, castella cake, and maple syrup was delicious as always. I regret not getting the pack of eight! Tokyo Banana is always tasty no matter when you eat it. Can't wait for my next business trip. Thank you for the meal!

I received a souvenir called "Ai to Sachi". What a unique name. It's interesting. I don't usually buy Tokyo Banana because I live in Yokohama, but I sometimes receive it as a gift. This time, it was a cookie with chocolate-flavored Langue de Chat and banana milkshake-flavored white chocolate in between. It looks cute with a banana design on the cookie! When I tried it, it was delicious. It really tasted like bananas! The chocolate was especially tasty. A cookie that lets you enjoy the taste of chocolate bananas. You can't underestimate even the most mainstream souvenirs when they pursue deliciousness. Amazing!

When a young colleague went to Tokyo for training, he brought back a souvenir - "Tokyo Banana, pudding flavor". It's been a while since I last had this snack, and it brought back memories of when my boss used to bring it as a souvenir. The sponge is soft and fluffy, and the banana pudding inside is sweet and delicious. It's best enjoyed chilled. It was really tasty. Thank you for the treat.

The fluffy texture, sweet custard filling, and smooth mouthfeel make it very delicious and enjoyable for everyone. There are many varieties to choose from, making it hard to decide, but they are all delicious. You can find them sold everywhere in the airport, so even if you forget to buy some, you can always go back and purchase more. The yellow sign always catches my eye and draws me in. They also have limited edition and seasonal cookie variations, but I opted for the regular yellow banana one.

Haneda to Hokkaido, here we go! The second souvenir is from the Sugar Butter no Ki, a limited seasonal item! It's called Caramel Chocola Sand, quite a long name. It's like they took the popular Sugar Sand and made it even better. The texture is the same, but with added flavor of caramel. They also added hazelnuts on the surface. It's delicious, there's no way it's not (laughs). Personally, I prefer this one over the normal version. I think you can probably buy it in Osaka as well, but surprisingly, you can't get it in Sakai. I wish someone would give it to me as a gift. It was delicious!

"'Tokyo Banana' is a go-to place for Tokyo souvenirs when you're in a bind. I always find myself drawn to their products when browsing at stations or airports on my way home. This time, I tried their Ginza strawberry cookies for the first time. The cookies in the cute strawberry-marked box are thin and crispy, with a gentle strawberry cream inside. The taste is nostalgic, like something I've had before but can't quite remember. If I do remember where I've had it before, I'll be sure to report back!"

Recently, whenever I go on a business trip, I always end up buying the "Sugar Butter Sand no Ki." At first, I was wondering what this was all about, but since it seems to be quite popular, I finally decided to buy it for myself. Instead of cookies, it is sandwiched with cereal, which is a unique twist. From the name, it sounds heavy, but when I tried it, it was light and crispy. Inside, there is a white chocolate filling which was surprisingly delicious! When I brought it as a souvenir, it was well received. It's so light that you could eat as many pieces as you want! It's a dangerously delicious snack.

I bought some souvenirs for my home on the last day of my Izumo Matsue trip. I had never bought this famous sweet before, as it seemed too mainstream, but I was intrigued by the wordplay created by Oizumi Hiroshi in the "Try to get out of the exam" series of "Wednesday, How about it?" which led me to buy it. I bought three different types of Tokyo Banana: "Mitsuketatt" Tokyo Banana (4 pieces for 470 yen), Moist Baumkuchen Tokyo Banana (4 pieces, cut type, for 450 yen), and Tokyo Banana Raisin Sandwich (4 pieces for 490 yen). Here are my thoughts on each:
- "Mitsuketatt" Tokyo Banana (4 pieces for 470 yen): I give it 4 stars. It's a custard cream with banana mixed in, wrapped in a sponge shaped like a banana. It reminded me of the famous Sendai confectionery "Hagi no Tsuki," but with a banana twist. The idea of incorporating banana into the cream was brilliant, and the gentle sweetness was delightful. It's great for personal consumption and as a souvenir.
- Moist Baumkuchen Tokyo Banana (4 pieces, cut type, for 450 yen): I give it 3 stars. It's a banana-flavored baumkuchen made by Tokyo Banana. It has three layers: banana dough in the center, chocolate banana dough in the middle, and chocolate dough on the outside. It lacked the moistness it promised and felt a bit dry, but it had a fluffy texture. We bought the cut type, but there's also a whole type available.
- Tokyo Banana Raisin Sandwich (4 pieces for 490 yen): I give it 2.5 stars. This sandwich has a banana-flavored chocolate cream filling instead of the usual cream, with a soft shortbread on the outside. While the shortbread was soft and easy to eat, I didn't enjoy the combination of raisins and cream. I thought a liqueur that highlighted the combination of banana and raisins would have been better. Overall, I recommend the classic "Mitsuketatt" Tokyo Banana, as it allows you to fully enjoy the familiar taste of bananas. Next time, I'll buy it at Haneda before departure or as a sweet treat at hotels during my travels.

I recently traveled to San'in and used Haneda Airport. Whenever I go to the airport, I always end up buying delicious looking snacks... I bought a pack of 4 Tokyo Banana Caramel flavored cakes for 470 yen. I thought caramel flavor was rare, so I decided to buy it. It's perfect for eating on the plane, with 4 cakes in the pack. The cakes are gold-colored sponge cakes with caramel banana custard inside. The texture is fluffy. The taste is obviously caramel and banana, but... it's somehow not quite right. Everyone has their own preferences, but I prefer the classic Tokyo Banana.

Tokyo, including Tokyo Station and Haneda Airport, is quite dim due to power saving measures. Everywhere in public places in the city, you can feel the impact of the earthquake when coming from the countryside. The meeting ended early, and I was looking for souvenirs at Haneda when visiting Tokyo for the day. In recent months, I had been content with generic "tamago" souvenirs, but when I visited the Sugar Butter Tree store featured on TV, there were only 3-4 people in line, unlike the usual long queues. I'm not a fan of queues, but I decided to wait this time. When it was my turn, I didn't know what was popular or tasty, so I went with the Sugar Butter Assortment with 3 types of sweets for 1,200 yen. The salesperson repeated that it was the most popular choice, a savvy sales tactic! When I opened the sweets at home, I found a small pamphlet inside. The chocolate-covered chocora is only available from October to May, probably because it melts in hot weather. It wasn't as sweet as I expected, but still a bit too sweet for my taste. The plain one was decent, with a subtle buttery aroma. Lastly, the sandwich one with a soft white chocolate cream filling was surprisingly good. My family, who are quick to criticize, thought it was too sweet. Well, I won't be buying them souvenirs anymore! Plain old tamago is enough for them! The subtle flavors were quite enjoyable.

This cheesecake roll is highly recommended in the class! It's like a roll cake priced at 600 yen, but inside is rolled cheese cream. It's not too sweet, with just the right amount of tangy cheese. The fluffy white sponge cake wrapped around it is delicious! A must-buy souvenir when you visit Tokyo! There are various roll cakes available, but considering the price, isn't this the best deal? It's a bit smaller now, which is sad, but I think it's worth it for the price. Different versions with strawberries, mangoes, white peaches, etc., come out seasonally, but the chestnut glace in autumn to winter is the best. If you're unsure about a souvenir, definitely try this one.

There are airport exclusive products at this shop, so I often use it, but this time I found a new product from Kurobe Japan, a sister series of Tokyo Banana, "Ai to Sachi". It is a chocolate-flavored Langue de Chat sandwiched with banana milkshake-flavored white chocolate. Langue de Chat with chocolate sandwiched is a classic, but banana milkshake-flavored white chocolate is not common, and it goes perfectly with chocolate Langue de Chat. It's not too sweet, the banana flavor is not too overpowering, but you can still taste it. It's easy to eat. The banana mark on the surface is also cute.
