There is a single-family house style shop along Route 246, with steep stairs leading up to the 3rd floor. The same shop name has locations in Shibuya and Ebisu. It seems closer to walk from Ikejiri-Ohashi Station than from Sangenjaya Station. I made a reservation in advance for my first visit. The shop is participating in the Japan Sake Go-Around 2023 event on October 1st (featuring Rikuzen Yakata from Aomori). They offer a variety of sake selections. The amount in the tokkuri is less than one go. A medium-sized bottle (Akahoshi) costs 890 yen. We ordered 3 types of beer and sake, along with 3 dishes, totaling just under 8,800 yen for 2 people. It seems that many customers use the delivery service. They also offer dishes that can be taken out.

I visited the restaurant on Sunday night at 8 o'clock, but it was full. They also have branches in Shibuya and Ebisu. We toasted with beer and ordered mainly seafood dishes. The fish here is fresh, especially the fatty tuna sashimi which was delicious. And on the day of the ox, the grilled eel was crispy. We finished with chicken soba, which was very invigorating for our tired bodies. This is a seafood izakaya in Area 1 that is open until late at night. Thank you for the meal!

We visited the restaurant with two people near the entrance counter. It was quiet as it was Wednesday and group customers were seated on the second floor. We enjoyed delicious sashimi and sake. The food and drinks were so good that we want to go back again.

I visited "Anko Sanjuku" and had a great experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant was calm and the service was very polite. I ordered the special sashimi platter and grilled fish. The sashimi was very fresh and satisfying, especially the tuna sashimi which had a smooth texture. The grilled fish was perfectly seasoned and paired well with sake. They had a variety of sake options to choose from, which was a nice touch. I was satisfied with the atmosphere, food, and service overall. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again.

The shop facing the main street. When you enter, there is a counter, and it seems like they expanded into the next shop as the layout is a bit distorted. Opening the door that connects sideways, there are table seats. This time, I had a meal at the table seat. The food is delicious, and it's nice to be able to eat in a calm atmosphere, which is rare as many shops are chaotic nowadays. The fresh oysters were voluminous and tasty. The firefly squid was small but the inflated squid with a popping texture, was it caught in Toyama Bay? It was delicious. The chicken marinated in miso koji was also delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The garlic tempura at Ankokuzan is unbelievably delicious, like it's heaven-sent. I've started ordering seasonal vegetable tempura every time. Once you start eating vegetable tempura, you're officially an adult. Also, a tip: don't drink sake from the beginning, it'll make the next day rough! This is insider knowledge! It's only my second time here, but I have a feeling I'll keep coming back. Everything was delicious. And the homemade sausages from the secret menu were amazing - thank you for the feast! #Ankokuzan Mishuku Store #Ikejiri Ohashi #Sake #Wide variety of sake #Mishuku gourmet

This is a Japanese izakaya located along Route 246 in Sangenjaya. I visited this restaurant for a meal with business associates. The interior is divided into a main building and an annex, and we used the annex. The main building had a slightly dim and moody atmosphere. We decided to add oysters and shirako to our course meal. The assorted sashimi and fresh oysters were delicious. The oysters were served with ponzu sauce, lemon, and grated daikon radish. They were smooth and delightful to eat in one bite. The flavor of the oysters was superb. The scallop part was particularly delicious, with a thick and firm texture. The tai meshi (sea bream rice) for the finale was also tasty. It seems like this restaurant excels in seafood dishes. The drinks were all-you-can-drink, and we chose the all-you-can-drink menu with one type of sake, either Harushika or Rikyuhassen's unlimited label. It was a great meal.

The 13th installment of the izakaya tour near my workplace is this place, known for its abundant selection of sake and use of carefully selected ingredients sourced directly from producers. Upon searching, I found that there are also branches with the same name in Kamiyama and Ebisu, though it is unclear if they are affiliated. The original restaurant I planned to visit unexpectedly closed down. The second choice I had bookmarked was only open from 6 pm, so I finally made my way to this place, my third option. This place also opens at 6 pm, but despite my mistaken assumption that takeout was available from 5 pm, they graciously allowed me to dine in. The restaurant is located a short walk from Sangenjaya along Tamagawa-dori. I arrived at 5:40 pm. The manager was busy preparing, and I was seated in a separate room on the right. I started with a glass of draft beer (Black Label) for 690 yen. The appetizer was 550 yen. My order was as follows, all prices include tax: Chef's selection of 9 dishes - 3,000 yen. The dishes were arranged in 9 sections, each with a small appetizer. There were mackerel, lean tuna, vinegar-marinated octopus, seasoned bamboo shoots, smoked pork, and more, perfect for pairing with sake. Dashimaki tamago (rolled omelette) - 600 yen. Moist and flavorful. Shiitake mushroom stuffed with minced meat steak - 880 yen. The meat juices combined with soy sauce and shiitake mushroom flavors, unexpectedly delicious. In between, I kept ordering more sake. Assorted chicken liver and gizzard - 1,000 yen. The rare-cooked liver and gizzard retained a unique texture. The creamy liver and crunchy gizzard were a fresh combination. Seasonal luxury assortment - 2,200 yen. Uni, salmon roe, mullet roe, and crab with crab miso dressing, a sinful dish. Despite being mindful of my high uric acid levels, I couldn't resist indulging in sake alongside these delicacies. What was planned as a 2-hour visit ended up being a 3-hour stay. I let loose with the delicious food and had quite a bit of sake. As a result, the bill was quite substantial. I regret not opting for a set course. While the dishes were a bit pricey, they were delicious, and I got to enjoy a wide selection of sake, so let's consider it a positive experience. The staff's service was also excellent. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The delicious dishes at this restaurant truly convey the chef's heartfelt efforts. Thank you for the feast! Feeling full and pleasantly tipsy is the epitome of happiness, isn't it? It's not often that they recommend crab dishes after 12 o'clock, but it was really delicious. I'll definitely come back for a more leisurely meal next time. Thank you for the meal!

I went to a second restaurant with my senior and junior colleagues from the laboratory! It was great that they were open late! I was surprised that the appetizer was sushi, and the duck and chicken were delicious! The gout dish was a bit different from what I expected. There were many delicious-looking menu items, so I would like to come back when I have more time. Thank you for the meal!

On Mondays, many shops near Ikejiri Ohashi and Sangenjaya are closed, but this restaurant is open year-round, which is convenient. This was my second visit with my usual three colleagues. The first floor has counter seats in front of the kitchen and table seats that seem to have been added later. The second floor has only counter seats, which are popular for couples. The third floor has box-like 4-person table seats, separated by reed screens. We made a reservation for 6:30 pm. As expected, we were guided to the third floor upon arrival. We climbed the steep stairs, out of breath, and sat in the middle box seat. It felt spacious, but the cushion sank too much, making it a bit difficult to eat comfortably. We started with draft beer and then moved on to white wine as usual. The dishes included blowfish tempura, thick grilled mushrooms, and natto-filled squid tempura, among others. The thick grilled mushrooms were a bit disappointing as they were just regular mushrooms cut into quarters. Two standout dishes were the "potato salad" and "heshiko cheese." The potato salad had a unique hidden flavor that made it different from the usual, and the vegetables served with it were also dressed. The heshiko cheese consisted of small slices of heshiko (mackerel pickled in rice bran) and white mold cheese on top of sliced cucumber. The salty heshiko combined with the creamy cheese was interesting. It might be better to choose sake over wine. They offer 3-4 types of wine, all around 5,000 yen. We opened two bottles and ordered a few dishes, totaling around 20,000 yen. Overall, it's a reasonably cost-effective restaurant considering the location.

Located about a 5-minute walk from Ikejiri-Ohashi towards Sangenjaya, this izakaya has a cozy and calming atmosphere. We ordered the salad with dried baby sardines and tofu, assorted sashimi, fried burdock, grilled chicken with soft roe and liver in ponzu sauce, and the "Harahara" hot pot by Taiichiro-kun. The seafood was fresh and beautifully presented, and all the dishes were well-prepared. While not flashy, everything had a gentle flavor, making it perfect for slowly enjoying with drinks.

I was invited by a friend to go drinking at a nice restaurant. The atmosphere is great and all the dishes, especially the fish, are delicious. The curry I had for dessert was surprisingly amazing! I couldn't help but tell the owner, "You should open a curry shop!" They also have a great selection of sake, so it's recommended for sake lovers too. They have seating for groups, so I'm sure you'll enjoy a small party there too!

At a izakaya in Sangenjaya, I enjoyed some DELI dishes for my evening drink. The moist liver cooked in vacuum for 950 yen, crispy fried new burdock for 650 yen, and two jyako rice balls for 700 yen. It's like having an izakaya experience at home. The restaurant is located on the 246 street in Sangenjaya, and I have passed by it several times. The atmosphere seems nice. The moist liver was cooked with sesame oil and soy sauce, with ginger, garlic, and green onions as toppings. The ingredients were good, but it lacked a bit of punch. Maybe they could add more originality to it? Perhaps they specialize more in seafood. It's a cozy place suitable for both small and larger groups, so I will visit again next time.

I used to be a regular customer here. Everything I order is delicious and never disappoints. It's a great place to go when you're in the mood for Japanese food! I'm not sure about the current menu, but I think the sashimi is always reliably delicious. The La France sake from Shichifukujin, enjoyed on the rocks, is the best.

This place is open until 4 am, which is great. The late-night menu has decreased a bit compared to before, which is disappointing. They have a wide selection of drinks, so even heavy drinkers will be satisfied. On this day, I ordered the Bagna Cauda, Trimmed Beef Tataki, and Chicken Shumai. The Bagna Cauda had plenty of vegetables, which was pleasing for vegetable lovers. The sauce was also delicious. The Trimmed Beef Tataki was a bit tough, but still tasty. The Chicken Shumai had a slight chicken odor, which was a bit disappointing. However, it's great that they are open late into the night.

I visited on a Friday after work. I often pass by but always see customers inside. I was seated at a table for two. The staff was very nice, but the food was not that impressive. I might go again to confirm.笑

I heard about this great restaurant from an acquaintance and decided to check it out. It's located about a 5-minute walk from Ikejiri-Ohashi Station, along Route 246. The place is easy to spot, but it has a cozy, hideaway atmosphere inside. I love sitting at the counter where you can see the kitchen and feel close to the staff. The specialty of the restaurant is seafood. I ordered a sashimi platter with blowfish, sea urchin, and medium fatty tuna, and each bite was a delightful experience. The blowfish was firm and fresh, the tuna melted in my mouth, and the sea urchin was sweet and delicious. The simmered abalone was incredibly tender, and the accompanying liver miso was a perfect match for sake. The lily root cheese gratin was creamy and flavorful, with a hint of black pepper adding a nice touch. Not only were the main dishes delicious, but the attention to detail in the presentation and accompaniments was also impressive. Of course, the perfect drink to pair with this meal was Japanese sake. I tried six different types, including Okuzake from Osaka, Yashimori from Tokyo, Minami from Kochi, and Hohoemi from Tochigi. With nearly 50 varieties of sake to choose from, the selection was excellent. Overall, I left the restaurant feeling satisfied with both the taste and portion sizes. It was a truly enjoyable dining experience.

I went there for the first time. I may have missed the information on the website, but the reserved seats were in a prefab-like area that had been added on. When I entered and went through the back door, it was almost like being outside and quite hot. I sat still for a while and started sweating a bit. If they had told me when I made the reservation, I would have chosen to sit inside or gone to a different restaurant.
