During the #tokyojimatoyamajourney, the accommodation provided by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's "Tama Island Tourism PR Project" was the Toyoko Inn Fussa, just a 30-second walk from Fussa Station East Exit. Fussa City has only one accommodation facility, which is Toyoko Inn Fussa. The rates are very reasonable, starting from 5,800 yen for a single room, 6,800 yen for a semi-double room, and 3,490 yen per person. Breakfast is also included for free. The services are simple, with razors and combs available at the front desk for those who need them. Nightwear is also available in the lobby, so guests need to bring their own. Female guests receive amenities like a hairband and face pack. The 140cm-wide bed provided a comfortable sleep, and the storage space under the bed allowed for a spacious room. The hotel was almost fully booked due to the Fussa Marathon the next day. My room was on the second floor, facing the station rotary, so I had to keep the curtains closed for privacy. The elevator went up to the top floor, where the view seemed to be quite nice. The room had plenty of outlets, including ones that could be used even when the card key was removed. Free Wi-Fi was available in all rooms. The room amenities included shampoo, conditioner, face & body soap, and a toothbrush. Breakfast was served from 6:30 am, with a variety of rice balls, bread, and side dishes like pickles, meatballs, boiled eggs, salad, and more. Grapefruit juice and unlimited coffee were also available. There is a convenience store in front of the hotel, and a 24-hour supermarket nearby. Guests can also enjoy discounted meals at partner restaurants. Overall, Toyoko Inn Fussa was a comfortable business hotel without any tobacco smell inside.
