I went to a restaurant that serves pasta with Sichuan pepper, so I ordered coperto (550 yen x3) and three omakase courses for 7,400 yen each, with red and white house wine all-you-can-drink (1,650 yen x2). The dishes included green pea panna cotta, Ligurian, Tuscan, and Sicilian olive oils, shiitake mushrooms, taro sprouts, choux pastry, green peas, beans, mozzarella, bamboo shoot jelly, onion soup, firefly squid, red snapper, clam caviar, bonito and beets, Yorkshire boiled ham, strawberry cold pasta, delicious pasta with horse mackerel and Sichuan pepper, Veneto white asparagus fritters, low-temperature roasted Yamagata beef, egg with soy sauce residue, yogurt gelato with olive oil, Basque cheesecake, rich chocolate cake, and coffee. It was all delicious and I am full.

This time, we went to "Dal Matto Nishi-Azabu Main Store" for a Christmas dinner. This restaurant offers creative dishes using a wide variety of seasonal ingredients such as fresh vegetables directly delivered from contract farmers in Yamanashi, Chiba, and Ishikawa, along with seafood and meat. We had the special Christmas course for dinner, which was a luxurious and memorable experience with exquisite ingredients and rare dishes. The overall highlight was the miraculous flavor pairing of dishes like cold pasta with white strawberries and fruit tomatoes, and a tart with crab miso and snow crab, which seemed unlikely but turned out to be sophisticated and incredibly delicious. The seasoning and unique ingredients, which were not familiar but still harmonious and full of umami and sweetness, made the dining experience satisfying. The service and ambiance were excellent, making it a highly satisfying restaurant overall.

My favorite dish here is the cold pasta. Even though I don't like tomatoes, I find the pasta made with tomatoes here delicious every time. I recently tried peach cold pasta for the first time, and it was also delicious. I feel like the direction of the cuisine has become more creative compared to the past, but in any case, it was delicious. :)

The atmosphere, the food, the plates, and the presentation were all very satisfying ☺️ I especially enjoyed the variety in the appetizer platter, allowing me to try different things, and the cold pasta was a highlight. Of course, the meat dishes were tender and filling, and I left feeling full after the full course meal.

After eating dinner, we went to a second party. - Seasonal fruit cold pasta (this time with strawberries and tomatoes) ¥2,200 - Cheese assortment ¥880~ - Italian ham and salami assortment ¥1,650 The pasta combining strawberries was a first for me. Surprisingly, the acidity of the tomatoes and strawberries matched well. It was refreshing and a nice palate cleanser.

Located in Nishi-Azabu, this hidden gem of a restaurant is a place I've been wanting to visit for years. Finally, I made it here. The restaurant, situated underground, offers private rooms and has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. I ordered the 7700 yen chef's choice course. The amuse-bouche consisted of kombu dashi sheet and saury, with the umami of kombu enveloping the saury. The vegetable appetizer was a colorful dish featuring 9 different types of vegetables, each bite-sized and enjoyable. The seafood appetizer platter included scallops with dried tomatoes, beltfish, and kanpachi from Mie Prefecture. I can't recall the fourth item, but it was a delight to sample a variety of dishes. The meat appetizer was a platter of assorted prosciutto. The trio of appetizers was delicate and showcased the natural flavors of the ingredients. Next up was a saffron risotto with plump white clams. The warm pasta dish featured red shrimp and selva chico pasta, with the firm texture of the shrimp and al dente pasta being exceptional. The main meat dish was Tochigi Prefecture's Asano pork, with a moist and tender texture and a gentle sweetness.

Hidden in the heart of Nishi-Azabu, a gathering place for gourmets, is an Italian restaurant. Despite being located in the bustling city center, it is a hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle. The cuisine focuses on vegetables from contract farms, along with fresh seafood, and meat from local sources. The set menu includes a variety of dishes and a wide selection of wines, with over 50 types of Italian wines and 10 types of champagne available at all times. I tried the Christmas Special Lunch 2022, which included a variety of appetizers, a cold pasta dish with seasonal fruits and concentrated tomatoes, a main dish of charcoal-grilled chicken thigh, a warm pasta dish with beef cheek meat and porcini mushrooms, a Christmas special dessert, and coffee or tea to finish. The meal was satisfying, delicious, and reasonably priced. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again.

I had heard that this restaurant is frequented by gourmet friends and was curious, so I decided to make a reservation for the chef's choice course since I was in the neighborhood. The warm chestnut soup with truffle at the start was heavenly, and the variety of appetizers allowed me to enjoy a little bit of everything, which felt perfect for someone who likes to try different things. I was impressed by the creativity of the appetizer featuring grilled squid and grilled fish. I was so amazed by the appetizers that I was already full by the time the pasta dishes came out. The 7700 yen course was a great value with two pasta dishes, but personally, I think I would have been more satisfied if they had included just one pasta dish and a dessert. Overall, I was very satisfied with the cost performance, but adding a dessert would have made it even better for me.

My partner and I visited the Darumatte main store in Nishi-Azabu and opted for the chef's choice course. The appetizers were served in small portions but with a variety of options, perfect for pairing with drinks. The famous fruit pasta featured Fukushima's Akatsuki peaches, and the warm pasta was delightful. The main meat dish was also incredibly delicious. The staff made the menu explanations enjoyable, and we had a wonderful evening.

A popular Italian restaurant near Nishi-Azabu intersection. Dinner only, reservation required for a 7-course chef's choice menu. Generous portions, delicious food, and great value for money. Dessert and coffee are not included in the course. The courses include: Starter -> Assorted appetizers -> Cold fish appetizer -> Cold meat appetizer (assorted prosciutto) -> Cold pasta (peach pasta 40g) -> Warm pasta (choose the amount for sausage cream pasta) -> Main course (Saga beef). Everything is delicious! I enjoyed it at the counter. Great atmosphere for chatting with the chef, a wonderful restaurant.

On this day, I visited the restaurant around the time when the date was about to change. I am grateful that even in this day and age, at this time, I can enjoy authentic Italian cuisine. I ordered a custom short course meal, where I could choose an appetizer, pasta, and main dish. The Carbonara was rich and delicious, and the duck was cooked perfectly. I had white wine, an appetizer platter, Roman-style Carbonara, roasted duck, and cheesecake.

Visited the popular Dalmatian main store in the Nishi-Azabu area, known as one of the top 100 Italian restaurants in Tokyo. Enjoyed a delicious meal with a close friend in a prime seat with a live view of the kitchen, starting with an assortment of appetizers in the traditional Tokyo Italian style. The highlight of the evening was the cherry pasta parfait, a dish that can be challenging due to the balance between cherries, ice cream, and sauce. However, the pasta that night was superbly balanced, with the cherries, noodles, and sauce blending harmoniously and tasting delicious. The visual presentation was also exceptional. Currently, they are offering a special peach pasta dish for the season, so if you're interested, be sure to give it a try. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I recently had a craving for pasta, so I made a reservation to revisit Darmat's fruit pasta after about 10 years. The restaurant is located in a quiet area off the beaten path in Nishi-Azabu, and even though I arrived at 8:00 PM on a weekday, it was fully booked. The appetizer platter was a delightful mix of various dishes, with about 10 different items to enjoy. They also served four types of seafood in bite-sized portions, which would make a great snack for those enjoying drinks. The first pasta dish was the fruit pasta, this time made with cherries. The noodles were delicious, and the warm pasta dish was sea urchin. They allowed me to choose the size of the pasta, and I opted for medium. The sea urchin pasta, made without cream, was rich and creamy. It was so delicious that I ended up ordering an additional arrabbiata pasta, which was quite spicy and packed with garlic, making it a perfect accompaniment to drinks. The value for money for a course like this at 7,700 yen was surprisingly good. I will definitely be visiting again.

I tried the strawberry pasta at Darumatto Nishi-Azabu, Nishi-Azabu main store for ¥10,000. The appetizers were plentiful and enjoyable! I was fully satisfied with being able to enjoy both fish and meat dishes, as well as two types of pasta for dinner! I was impressed by the deliciousness of the strawberry pasta I had previously at Hills Darumatto in Roppongi Hills! So I decided to try it again this time, but the taste was a bit different...? I made a reservation for the omakase course and arrived right on time. I was guided to the counter and started with a toast with beer! After a relaxing moment, the course of the day began. The course included: - Amuse - Assorted vegetable appetizers - Assorted seafood appetizers - Meat appetizer - Cold fruit pasta - Warm pasta - Meat main dish Starting from the amuse, I knew I was in for a treat. The colorful assortment of vegetable and seafood appetizers was delightful. The different types of ham in the meat appetizer allowed for a nice comparison. The cold fruit pasta was surprisingly delicious with just the right amount of sweetness. I had never imagined fruit-based pasta could be so good until I tried it at Darmat. For the warm pasta, I chose the medium size, but in hindsight, I should have gone for the large because it was that satisfying. Finally, I ended the meal with the main meat dish and left feeling just right, not too full or too hungry. It seems like the perfect place to fill up before moving on to a second location. Overall, the food was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

The restaurant had resumed late-night service, so I decided to visit as the situation with COVID-19 seemed to have improved a bit. I had been to OGGI Dal Matto before, but this was my first time here. The atmosphere was a bit more casual compared to OGGI. Since it was late at night, they had à la carte options available. I started with a glass of sparkling wine, then had a platter of 10 assorted vegetable appetizers, followed by a truffle-topped egg tempura sandwich before moving on to pasta and a main dish. In the end, it turned out to be almost like a course meal! The dishes were all of high quality, and I was pleased to be able to enjoy such a great meal late at night!
