Although there is a main store in Shibuya that is always popular and often has long lines, this branch is open late at night, so if you go late at night, you can always walk in. That's why I often come here late at night. The quality of the late-night yakiniku here is always reliable, and it has a friendly atmosphere that makes it easy to eat and drink. The yakiniku is delicious, but the cold noodles here are absolutely amazing. The staff is also kind, and it's a favorite restaurant of mine.

Yakiniku restaurant in Hatagaya. It is located within a 5-minute walk from the station. This is a new store that opened in November 2019. "Oh, this used to be a ramen shop but it turned into a yakiniku restaurant," I thought as I looked around and couldn't find the entrance. Then a staff member came out from the back left and said, "Would you like to come in?" So I decided to give it a try. As soon as I entered, I saw cans of shichimi (seven spice) everywhere! These are actually chairs, which is interesting. I ordered: - Moyashi Namul (350 yen) → A dish of soybean sprouts namul. It's a great deal for 350 yen with this generous portion. - Hatsumoto (650 yen) → I tried hatsumoto for the first time! It's incredibly delicious! It's crunchy but the taste is like heart meat. I found my favorite part. - Gyutan Negi Yaki (900 yen) → A specialty of Horii. It has a lot of green onions. The trick is to slide it from the plate onto the shichirin (portable charcoal grill). The green onion salt has a bitter taste, but it's delicious. - Cold noodles half size (400 yen) → Even though it's a half size, it was quite a good amount. We shared it. It was reliably tasty. The young staff members were energetically running the business and their customer service was very polite, which I really appreciated. The meat was affordable and delicious. They even saw us off outside when we left. I have a feeling that this yakiniku restaurant will become more popular in the future. I look forward to going back again.

The other night, my partner and I went to a restaurant in Hatagaya for dinner. The popular places were all full, and one of our favorites was closed. As we walked around the area, we stumbled upon a newly opened restaurant with congratulatory flowers outside. The entrance was a bit hard to find, but once we stepped inside, we were greeted by a shabby yet cozy interior. We ordered some beer and Red Eye cocktail, and enjoyed grilled meat, namul, and other dishes. The food was delicious and the service was friendly. The bill came out to be around 7000 yen, which was reasonable for the quality we received. Overall, it was a great dining experience and we would definitely go back.
