南風直通
A chain Chinese restaurant located in Kyobashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo. I happened to come across this place while looking for a place to have lunch. The sign proudly displayed "Delicious Fried Rice Restaurant". As a fan of fried rice, my expectations were high, so I decided to go in. I sat at a table and read through the menu. While there were set meals and noodle dishes to choose from, I couldn't resist ordering just the fried rice. It cost 840 yen. Considering how quickly it was prepared, I couldn't help but wonder if fried rice has a high profit margin. For a similar price, you could enjoy a pretty delicious bowl of ramen, but I feel like the time and effort put into preparing the soup and chashu for ramen make it a more labor-intensive dish per serving. As a customer, I'm paying for the deliciousness rather than the cost, so I don't worry too much about it. But I think fried rice is a good product for the restaurant. Now, after pondering these thoughts, my fried rice arrives. It took only 2 minutes from ordering. Yep, it's fast (laughs). It looks dark in color, so it seems to be packed with flavor. I take a bite. It's decent. Not mind-blowing, but it's the kind of fried rice I enjoy. By the way, the best fried rice I've ever had was at "Chotoku" in Bunkyo-ku (5 minutes walk from Hakusan Station). It was a simple, fluffy fried rice. But the long lines make it hard to visit. I've tried fried rice at various places, and each one has its own unique taste, despite being a simple dish. Everyone has their own preferences, so it's great to have so many options available. Eating just the fried rice was quick. I finished eating and paid the bill in 8 minutes before leaving. The fast turnover of customers means higher sales per hour, making fried rice a great product in my opinion. I was defeated by the fried rice. No, it was delicious. Thank you for the meal!
